Neela is lucky County gave her an internship after the crap she pulled in Michigan. She proved herself to be a flake over something that she didn’t even try to adjust to. And don’t get me started on that whole quarterlife crisis stuff before County took her back where she’s working at the Jumbo Mart and trying to apply in retail.

Remember, the only reason she got back into County was because Howard, the intern with severe OCD, quit, which left an opening.

An ice cream shop for a 21st birthday "party". Not saying that you have to have alcohol for your 21st birthday celebration, but that is what legally comes with age 21. Age 16, driver's license and cars. Age 18, voting and legal for sex. Age 21, can drink alcohol.

Something I noticed this episode: They all went shopping for clothes for the party, but Anna wasn't able to attend. "She already has her outfit", as Mom and Dad buy everyone else outfits.

Elizabeth said that Anna didn't shop with everyone because she was sick.

That plot of Neela’s also made no sense. I totally get not knowing what you want to do with your life but I never understood how she got through undergrad, med school classes and rotations before finally saying “never mind I don’t want to be a doctor and I’m running away from my internship after five minutes!” Shouldn’t she have figured it out a lot sooner? And the fact that she got a residency at County after flaking on one internship already without any concern from County that she would do the same thing again also doesn’t line up.

Remember, the only reason Neela got an internship spot at County was because Howard (had severe OCD) quit.

Not bad for a season premier episode.  So Dante now knows who Robyn is and is probably a member of the team (unofficially).

I am glad they didn't spread it over 2 episodes and it got resolved in 1 and that Quinn is dead.

    Same.

Pretty good episode, glad it's back.

I was just watching an S10 episode (Impulse Control) last night where Kem and Carter are hanging around Chicago and she just seems so uninterested and blah about the whole thing. They never seemed to have any real chemistry. I don’t deny that what happened to the baby was heartbreaking, but if she really couldn’t be around him after that she owed him an explanation.

I also laughed at the HR consultant who was in the hospital and essentially told Kerry something like “you have a bunch of lunatics working here” and all I thought was dude…check back in a few more years LOL.

Ha, I just finished watching this one.

So sad about the family that the guy in the Hummer killed, how his life was saved from the impact that corrected his arrhythmia that caused him to black out, and the accident itself. The mom and daughter losing the dad and brother. So horrible.

The rich life would have never worked for Kem. All of those things, the townhouse, expensive dinners, hotels, staff...she would rather continue her work in Africa.

That was my favorite part of the episode. I am extremely close with my grandparents, particularly on my mother's side. I'm the oldest grandchild (31), and their youngest grandchild is 5. I think often about how extremely fortunate I am to have had them in my life for so long, yet I feel such profound sadness when I know there's absolutely no way that can happen for the youngest (they would be 110). When William talked about the grandchild/grandparent relationship that starts with such an unfair time inequity, I felt that in my heart. That scene was the best writing this show has had. As a surprise to no one, that was written and filmed during the first season.

I'm the same age, and I feel very fortunate that my 90 year-old grandmother is still here, my dad's mom. My other grandparents passed in 2017 (88), 2020 (83), and December 2021 (83). I am so blessed to have so many experiences and memories with them, and carry on their lessons and traditions.

Loved seeing the original kid Big Three in the finale, and one last round of Worst Case Scenario with Beth and Randall.

I was flipping through the Guide and saw that the new season is on it's third episode and apparently they are living in the original house. Have they explained why Raven's daughter didn't come with them?

In the first episode, they said that Nia went to Guatemala for the summer, to build houses for the poor. Then, Nia called Raven, we don’t hear Nia’s voice, though.

All that gagging, retching and spitting out of the Finnish snacks was so damn rude! What a way to make Joose feel welcome in his host family home. When he tried the aerosol cheese on a cracker, he didn't make a big scene about hating it. The idea of licorice and salt sounds unpleasant to me, but if I had grown up eating it, maybe I'd feel differently.

100%. So disrespectful. I felt bad for Joose.

  10. The only TikTok clip on Trent's auto account is the one from the photo booth; the ones they did at the dealership were never posted. Just for show/laughs

Elizabeth is so smug and annoying.

Amber loves kids and is a teacher? It seems like she can barely stand to be around her own. She's going to be even more stressed with going back for her bachelor's degree.
