Kyle is such an instigator.  Going on about who follows and unfollows on instagram.  Grow up. Diana is just a waste on this show.  Someone else could have been added to bring more to it.  Calling another woman that word is gross.  And it shows just who she is.  Please if you were on your death bed as you claim you would not have shown up to the birthday party.  Sutton needs to start telling the women off.  Stop apologizing and trying to work things out, especially Diana, Erika and Rinna.   Nice one Kyle to tell Sutton to not be dramatic about the pile on she just had.  Maybe you should have told the lip licker that when she was going off instead of saying well that's her feeling and she is entitled to that.

You couldn't put a piece of corn on the grill Mo, seriously?  How was Kathy being high maintenance?  She asked for napkins and silverware. A host would have had those things out.  It's not like she has been to the home to know where they are.

Re: the bolded part. Why did no one call this out to Diana? If she was, as she says, DYING and bleeding on the floor, why did she show up all dressed up to the party? That was Sutton's point - it's confusing. And I think Sutton was calling this out for the viewers/show. And Diana is too dumb to figure that out.

The fact that Erika was the only one laughing at Diana's "joke". Not even Rinna found it funny. That's pretty telling.

I just finished the latest Insider Podcast. Very good, although I get a little impatient with the belabored introductions and such.

I get so impatient with the long winded questions too. I have started listening at 1.5 or even 2x speed just to get to the friggin point/answers. Chris is an editor, he should do a better job of editing the podcast!

  3. What I took away from this episode is that long nails are really doing none of them any favors. Kyle has done too much to her lips and teeth that she can't fully close her mouth (there's a little hole in the middle). Erika's voice is annoying (and she said as much in the episode), and Rinna's screaming (did she scream this episode) make me keep my finger on the mute button.

Nitpick: I grew up in New England and in my 20s I lived and worked not far from Lexington and Concord. You don’t say it Con-CORD like Bree did. You say it CON-kerd.

I live 20 minutes from Concord, NC and it is indeed pronounced Con-CORD. Natives can tell pretty quickly you're not from here if you say CON-kerd.

That was the cork to the fancy booze (rum?) that “Giselle” and “Viktor” scammed off that guy in the restaurant way back when. More recently, when Kim quit Schweikart, she walked back to her office just to get this one item. The fact that it was in Saul’s possession suggests to me that Kim is no longer around.

I think she was - some of the clothing they were removing from Saul's house was female clothing (the cheetah print sweater on the rolling rack). I suppose it could be argued that Saul kept her clothes if she was no longer around.

  6. I just finished Season 6. W-O-W. That was an amazing ride. I remember the reunion news catching my attention and watching it for the hair pulling incident, and thinking Kenya totally instigated it. Knowing the backstory through the season makes it even more obvious.

Momma Joyce is so toxic and I wish Kandi figures that out and puts some solid boundaries on her. Todd is a saint for putting up with that BS as long as he did.

I appreciate Kenya playing the villain, but I still dislike the way she treated poor dumb Porsha.

    Edited to add:

Did Phaedra really name her second child Mr. President?? I thought they referred to him as Dylan at one point.

When you unfollow someone on FB or Insta, etc...do you get a notification that someone has unfollowed you? I have only unfollowed one person on FB and not sure if I have been unfriended, the whole thing confuses me too.  So if Garcelle unfollowed EJ how does EJ know?  I don't think EJ is wondering why she has not seen any of Garcelle's posts or likes, right?

I think the gossip rags/blogs look for this kind of thing and report on it.

  8. I decided Atlanta was my next city to start from the beginning (quit NJ, watched BH from the beginning, and finished NY last year). I have known of a few of the main people, but not anything about how they are on the franchise. I did watch Ultimate Girls Trip, and since Cynthia and Kenya were there, I figured it made sense to watch ATL next.

I was thoroughly entertained by how crazy Kim and Sheree were/are. I liked Nene in the beginning, but did not like her at the end of Season 4.

I'm currently up to Season 5, episode 6 and have a couple of questions.

    1. Porsha - is she really that dumb all the time? It's funny, but also dang, how did she make it anywhere in life?

    2. Am I going to like/appreciate Kenya at some point? She just seems nasty.

    3. I've read that Phaedra does something awful to Kandi. What should I look out for?

    4. When does Peter (Cynthia) go away?

People might groan that I'm bringing this up, but now that we know that there could be multiple seasons of this (Season 2 is coming out at some point), I wish they called this show something OTHER than Ultimate Girls Trip.  I don't like when women are referred to as "Girls".  There's not even 20 year olds on this show, far from it.

They could call it something else.  It just makes me cringe.
I know that most of these women aren't actually Housewives, but I do kind of like that this franchise reclaimed that word and made it into something else.  It's no longer that outdated 1950s stereotype.  Now it means something glamourous and crazy and fun.  But "Girls".  Ugh.  It's so infantilizing.

I feel like when a bunch of men go somewhere, they don't call it a "Boys Trip" you know what I mean?  Not that Bravo or any of these people give a shit about women or how they're portrayed or feminism.  But I'm speaking up nonetheless.

I see what you;re saying, but "Women's trip" just doesn't sound right either. Whenever my girlfriends and I have a trip, we call it a girl's trip, or girl's weekend (and we're in our late 30's). My husband's trips with his friends are "guy's trip".

They may pay in your doctor’s office, but they wouldn’t pay for one received at one of those vanity places.

Right. That's what I mean - why don't more OBGYN offices have these machines as part of their standard practice?

If you like the HW’s I would suggest RHOSLC. One lady on there, Jen, has a lot of legal trouble that will play out a la Erika. She is more of a firecracker though and it should bring drama. They are about ready to drop the next season in Sept when this legal thing will hit the fan.
Dallas was OK, but LeAnn could be very annoying in the first few seasons. I gave up on Atlanta and DC. Have you watched things on other venues? The Crown is good on Netflix and Ted Lasso is good on Apple. If you like a good cop show try Bosch on Amazon. It has many seasons, but they are very good seasons and each are different altho you get to know the characters. It’s Star Titus Welliver is a great guy IRL. He is humble and interacts with his fans regularly. It’s based on the Michael Connelly books.
    Happy Viewing.

Thanks! Yes, I've read all the Bosch books, but didn't really get into the series. I'll give it another shot, since I heard they wrapped up the series. The Crown is definitely on my list. My husband and I are watching Outlander together, so I may try to convince him to do that one next.

Is she not vaccinated? Or did she get a breakthrough infection? I would think if she chooses to spend time around Kail (flat earth science denier) she would take all the  precautions she could get.

Karl has covid. Though she won’t admit it she’s sick. She has no taste or smell. Literally said that on her Instagram story tonight. Miss anti vax just had to go to the Dominican Republic. Leah met her there. This could be something that spreads to Leah’s house.

Is she back? I wonder how her positive test will impact her ability to return to the US.

  14. We took our young kids to NYC in January 2020 and stayed in Times Square. Watch out for the characters. One of them started talking to my 6 year old and they all swarmed around us and demanded money. That was the most annoying part of our trip. The LEGO store in Rockefeller Center was pretty cool too!

  15. What I found odd about this episode is that they're "introducing" Eboni to the cast at Sonja's brunch. Towards the end, when they're sitting inside, they played flashbacks to events the prior week, when everyone was present and fighting. So why are they acting like this is the first time the women have all met Eboni?

  16. I know this thread is OLD, but I'm watching the seasons in order. I went rappelling a few years ago in Utah and fell backwards, pinning my leg under my rappel rope, and me hanging upside down with a 50 foot drop below me. I was stuck for a bit until the instructor could secure the rope before he and my husband were able to lift me back up. It was not my finest moment and I TOTALLY got Kristen's fear.
