I think Ashley didn't like his looks, but she gave him a chance to see if he had an attractive personality. She wasn't attracted. He was firing with no cylinders.

I wouldn't call someone's natural reaction and true feelings "mistakes". Just because you don't agree with the way Ashley acted towards David, that doesn't mean that she made mistakes. He is just gross to me, behavior and looks. I understand how some people are put off by Ashley. It seems like some people take her dislike of David personally.

Mistakes? Ashley wasn't attracted to some ugly, sweaty weasel with a criminal record. Maybe if his personality wasn't so clingy and desperate she might have been a little attracted to him.

Tres and Vanessa never seemed to totally open up or else neither of them has a dynamic personality. I don't think they will make it past 2.5 years, if they make it to the reunion.

Funny, David wants Ashley to respect his wishes and not talk to him but he wouldn't give her the same respect in an earlier episode. Them moving out shows what a dick he really is. I feel so badly for Sam. I almost feel like Neil might be asexual or something.
