Team Adalberto here! Though, truth be told, my husband and I discovered his bakery about a year ago and had eaten an obscene amount of his perfect macarons before he went on the show. He makes individual versions of each of his show creations to sell the following week, and so far every one has been more than worth the drive across the valley to get them. Maeve seems constantly pained - I saw a Facebook photo of her where she was smiling and it was a surprise. Agreeing with the others here, Steve is exhausting. FN tends to recycle their contestants, so I would be not at all surprised if he showed up on NFNS next season. I think what defeated Padua was the time pressure and panic. I could come up with a dozen options sitting on my couch in my pajamas with no one watching me and no pressure, but I can't imagine having to totally change gears with time and lights and all those eyes on you. It was sad to see him go.
