  1. The young woman homeowner on this episode during the reveal was TOO EXTRA, I had to mute the TV. I now understand the side eye of the F-I-L. I  would want to go junking in the family barn. Loved the roof color, not so much the countertop color. The desk looked uncomfortable with that live piece hanging down on the right side, you could only sit far left at it. Did not like the 2nd door from bedroom into the bath. It looks like it would hit the toilet when opened. Just have 1 door and wall space for storage. Also hated the awning over the door. It will be in tatters from the MS sun in a matter of years. I know here in FL I can't keep patio umbrellas more than 2 years and they are closed up all winter.

I do appreciate that Erin and Ben can change up styles and aren't always one note wonders. I also liked that they addressed that sometimes houses can't be saved. Not everything built is a historic treasure.

  2. I'm happy with the way it went down. What did MJ actually DO to earn the money? She was bad at physical challenges, she was bad at promoting people that she thought were traitors, she rode the coattails of her whole group. She was a goat(like in Survivor). I'm very happy that she didn't get any $$.

And I'm happy she's bitter, shows the kind of person she really is. It's a game. John was right when he was trying to educate her.

That's why they should only pick game show contestants if they are going to do reality stars. None of them were pissed at who won, only the outliers were.

  3. 228 E Harding St Orlando

was not bought by the Team. It was a remodel paid for by the owner that bought it to fix up. I wish they could be honest that they have to pivot in these harder to sell times. Just call themselves a do-it-all company, I wouldn't begrudge that. Just don't lie and tell me you bought it and then are going to sell it when it was never yours.

1259 Old Mill Road In Orlando located in the Fern Creek Area. House bought by Keith's company for $375K on 2/27/23 but hasn't sold yet. Been up for sale for 15 days right now. So it takes them a lot longer than 2 months to finish a house.

I really wish they would run out of the shower towers. They are really ugly and when they break a PITA to fix. My brother just bought a house with one and had to put holes in his wall to fix it.

I can't believe the homeowner tiled over terrazzo floors. So easy to keep clean and smooth with no dirty grout. What were they thinking?

    Finally sold 10/05/23 $678,000

  5. In my area of Central Florida if you are mortgaging your home and it has septic there is a separate inspection. My brother just went through this. I told him to walk away from any home with septic in an urban area. He was so desperate for a home he overpaid and got stuck doing A LOT of renovation fixes that should have been done before the sale. Now people can't give away there homes here. They are sitting on MLS for MONTHS, when the same homes would have sold in less than a week 8 months ago.

I'm a buyer beware type. I will pay to have ALL the inspections before I sink a huge amount of my $$$ into something.

  6. On the one unsellable house with septic problems: I am SO tired of hearing them say "it's a family home". That home has more concrete around it then a commercial building. I would never buy it. They didn't even fill in the bomb shelter. That's an accidental death waiting to happen that they know about.

The high school is looming over it and rental homes (which is what I call townhomes in our community) are in front of it. There would be NO WAY I would buy a septic home in an urban(now) environment. They should have walked away. So stupid.

The woman that lived there waited too long. Should have sold as soon as she knew that were building a school in her backyard.

  8. Neither the Montcalm or the Palmer house in Orlando has sold. The rental unit is going for about $2500 month. Not sure if it's the same for all 3 units. I would hope not.

Alyne is much better at designing than Ashley ever was. I would probably move into any of the units she designs. I never would with Ashley's.

Don't watch any of the others. Sometimes I'll click on the Tampa group because they're very similar to Orlando and they're mostly drama free.

618 Sweetbriar Rd Orlando-Sold 10/22/2022 for $375000 and has not resold as of 3/10/2023 (said sold on show for $600,00). I mostly liked what they did. I thought they said they would do breeze block on carport  but put up wood slats instead. The backyard looked much nicer with all the tropical crap removed. It looked like they changed the fireplace to gas? The corner cabinets in the kitchen would be a no go for me. They also must have found a back of truck sale on those shower towers. They seem to install them in every house now. The floors ended up looking very nice.

Now listed as sold for $600,000 on 3/6/23

  10. 714 E Church St Orlando. Bought by Larry for $460,000 on 6/22/2022. Not sold yet as of 3/19/2023. Maybe Larry paid them out for Reno services, who knows. Another Tower shower. How many did they get?  Location is on Lake Olive but it really looks no bigger than a pond.  2 doors down is an apartment complex. Parking on street is a nightmare there.

Design choices look fine to me, starting to design for anyone to be able to move in. I think the downstairs bath would drive me crazy if I used that back room for a bedroom. There was no tub/shower there. Have to go upstairs to take care of that. Better as a den or office.  Sad they covered up the wood floors but they were probably in bad shape since the house is from 1955. It was a very chopped up multi level house.

  12. 446 Briercliff Dr Orlando Sold to Parhelion Homes on 8/19/2022 for $340,000 then resold as a 2/1 (not a 2/1.5) on 12/23/2022 for $455,000. I noticed on the end of the show that they didn't say they sold it. So it did sell later, but for less than $500,000 they wanted.  The market is definitely cooling and it is back to a buyers market in Orlando.

I like that they aren't doing crazy colors and weird stuff to the houses. Leave them a little vanilla. People can see themselves living there and not having to redo weird tile and design choices. (I'm looking at you Ashley!!). Also liked they repurposed the cabinetry instead of trashing it. New homeowner's need to see that not everything needs to go, you CAN live with something and change it later.
