But left that huge crease.... can you imagine the crater that ass leaves in the sand? Someone could break an ankle.

Side note: My natural butt is so big that I actually DO dig a crater in the sand and throw my beach towel over it so that when I'm laying on my back, my back isn't arched. There's a significant distance between my ass and my back.

I'll see myself out, now 😞

Not a clue what happened in the past - but so far as the present goes, to me it sounds unprofessional as hell.  Very few jobs in this world allow the caveat you have to like somebody in order to work with them - and if you can’t, then that’s on you.

Apparently, according to Reddit, their marriage ended VERY badly. Abuse and such.

If that is the case, I totally understand their desires to stay apart. Seems like it was a messy divorce, too. However, I'm shocked they were both hired then.

I understand where you come from with this...as a woman. THAT being said, Dany absolutely went mad. That look on her face when she ranted and raved about freeing everyone (including those in Winterfell), and breaking the wheel? Enjoy your victory for a sec, damn.

Yes, in the past, Dany has always ruled with force first until someone was able to talk some sense into her. However...she never seemed quite so...unhinged. Her entire face was different when she delivered that speech.

I understand grief, but she already destroyed King's Landing (and plenty of innocent women and children) in retaliation.

This wasn't a woman taking power and everyone saying that she is crazy. She was LEGITIMATELY acting crazy. If a man did what she did and left King's Landing in the ashes like that after they surrendered, I'd be calling him mad as well.

Being the best school district in Delaware is like being the Head Waiter at Applebee's.

According to Niche, there are nine school districts in the State that are rated higher than the highest rated one in Dover.  I guess "best" is more of a subjective term.

    https://www.niche.com/k12/search/best-school-districts/s/delaware

Damn. I'm reading this and cracking up as a NYer. I can't fully compare, since I don't even see a national ranking for that Dover district...

For "Districts with the Best Teachers in America" rankings, they came in 7,264 out of 11,705. The district I'm in is 42.

Only 35% of the students are proficient in math, and 50% in reading.
    Yikes.

I'm a teacher, so I do understand that these rankings aren't perfect/there are other factors involved. But those scores are bad.

My district has 89% proficiency in math, and 79% in reading.

    You're uprooting for THAT?

I have read that there are two different plastic surgery “styles” for the East and West Coasts. The East coast style is to make one look refreshed and natural. The West Coast style is to make one look like they have had plastic surgery done, like an ostentatious display of wealth “look how much money I have, I can afford to adjust nature.”

All the Real Housewives East/West coast franchises seem to follow this, so there may be some truth to it.

It’s interesting to see those styles played out on sisters within the same family.

As a NYer, I tend to agree. I've had my nose done (sinus surgery and while they were in there, I figured why not. I had hated my nose for awhile) and it was VERY important to me that I didn't have a ski-jump, plastic surgery looking type nose. I wanted something that fit my face and looked plausible.

Same with the Botox. I know many women who get it sparingly. It seems much different than what is going on out west.

I don't know....my daughter struggled hard with anorexia for about 8 months, and then turned it around pretty quickly with proper treatment. That may not be the norm, but it's not unheard of. And Rinna may be a very controlled eater, but there is a difference between that and straight up anorexia. And it is incredibly scary to watch your child basically try to slowly kill themselves....I felt for both of them and appreciated this storyline.

I'm very happy for your daughter! That, unfortunately, is very much not the norm. Unlike other things, anorexia involves food, which is impossible to avoid as a human being. As a result, it can be extremely difficult to have a healthy relationship with food when you have an eating disorder. You are confronted with it multiple times a day, every single day. Anorexia has the highest mortality rate of any psychiatric disorder.

Ha, most of what's on that table comes from Trader Joes...so much for being hoity toity Vyle...

Are we looking at the same grazing table? Good charcuterie, when done right, isn't cheap. Yeah, you can get pre-sliced cold cuts at Trader Joe's, but I doubt Kyle did that. I'll admit I don't buy prepackaged sliced meats at Trader Joe's, so perhaps you're seeing something I'm not here...but uhh...I would be the happiest person ever to go to a party with a giant charcuterie/grazing table.
There is SUCH A difference between the good stuff and the stuff you get pre-packaged at Trader Joe's or in vacuum sealed mass produced package. The flavor difference is unreal.

Kyle does a lot to critique, but IMHO this table aint one of those things.

Also, yeah, if you haven't noticed; I'm FreeTheGirlses, and I have a charcuterie problem.

Oh hey, Long Island here, too! Hi neighbor.

Side note: My father in law collects guns. MANY guns. Like, over 100 guns easily. I have seen the guns twice in the decade I've been with my husband. Never feels compelled to just take them out on his laaaaaaaaand for no reason.

I have seen him wear his gun out once, and that's because we were in Florida and its a concealed carry state, so he just did it because he could. That only lasted one time, he was so uncomfortable and felt it was unnecessary, haha. Save it, Jenelle.

You look beautiful!!  Thanks for the scoop about Shay.  You mentioned they stuck to your budget.  Just curious if you have an impression that they only do that for mid and higher price points?  On the show it seems like whenever someone comes in at a lower price point they are like “There is only one dress that fits her criteria so gee I hope she likes it”.  Even at lower price points I would think Kleinfelds would have at least 100 gorgeous dresses from their stock of thousands.

Did you get to meet Vera?

Thank you! I live on Long Island, in the suburbs of NYC. I've been in Long Island bride groups on Facebook, and the general consensus is that theres a lot of BS on the show. My dress cost $3,300, and Shay gave me $412.50 off (I'm looking at a receipt right now). So $2,887.50. Keep in mind that alterations at Kleinfeld are a FLAT FEE of $895.00...you are welcome to get your dress elsewhere. I personally went to Kleinfeld for my alterations as I had to get a size 10 dress because of my hips/butt, meanwhile I have a tiny waist and no boobs. Basically, my entire dress had to be reconstructed on the top to fit correctly, haha. I had four different fittings. Kleinfeld's alteration has a VERY good reputation. Everyone balks at the price, but is always quick to say "they won't mess up your gown". I have no idea if the "discount" that he gave me is something that they do all the time; my mother and I were kind of figuring that it was likely something that they did to make brides feel like they "got a deal", but we have no clue.

I honestly don't remember the initial budget that I gave him; I planned my wedding in less than 6 months, haha. It's a bit of a blur. I feel like on the show they act as though a budget of under $5,000 is next to impossible, but I was never given that impression in person.

I think I tried on 7 dresses, but I knew that the second dress I put on was instantly the one. I'm sure if I wanted to continue, I could have tried on more. I know for a fact that Kleinfeld has a ton of other dresses in the silhouette I wanted in my price range.

I didn't get to meet Vera! The woman who did my alternations is Stella, and she's from Greece as well. Has been at Kleinfeld for a few decades, too!

Pretty dress.  Did they at least let you look through the dresses to pick things to try on?  That's what bugs me about the show.  They have thousands of dresses, and even when the bridge has a HUGE budget they bring in 3-4 dresses for her to try on.  I think an appt there is 3 hours long, so I would want to try on as many as possible.

Also, someone posted a review of Kleinfeld online, and she said that Shay was an arrogant little twit, and she was treated horribly there.  Like cattle, get em in, get em out. Lol

No, it's HUGE. Their storage room is literally two floors and there are dresses in the ceiling. The appointments are an hour and a half on a weekday, an hour on a weekend. I have NEVER been to a bridal salon with 3 hour long appointments.
Before your appointment, you can create an account, where you can go through and favorite a bunch of dresses that you like. You also answer a questionnaire, and you have the option to link your pinterest board. It was evident that Shay had actually reviewed my account prior to him pulling dresses; he definitely had a sense of my style and there wasn't anything that he pulled that was awful or wrong. Honestly, he definitely knew how to dress a woman of my shape, which I appreciated.
I had been to bridal salons where I could pull whatever I'd like, and it's overwhelming. You tend to get a bit lost. This streamlined everything. I would never recommend Kleinfeld as a first appointment; it's best to go to it after you've narrowed down which silhouettes flatter your shape/what you want.
Kleinfeld has been around for ages prior to the show. My dad's first cousins all got their dresses there when they were in Brooklyn decades ago. It's a NY institution and has been for years.
Shay was amazing, gave me his cell phone number, and personally attended my first fitting to make sure that I was fit in my dress properly. The TV persona was definitely BS in my experience.

More suspicious of Snooki posting a clip from their home security system (where do you think she got the footage?) and acting as Jenni's spokesperson all over social media.

I also fail to understand how their home security system can record everything with Jenni being the only one with access, yet somehow it's illegal for Roger to film those same interactions on his phone.

I don't know what the legal situation is on that, but I feel like there's a difference between a home security camera that all parties know is constantly filming, and someone intentionally trying to film you when you have objected to being filmed. Not a lawyer, just married to one and sat on grand jury for four weeks.

Do you get "Say Yes to the Dress" in Indonesia? Also a TLC offering where brides from all over the world shop for gowns in Kleinfeld's, a famous bridal salon in New York. Their gowns start at $2K, and many of them ARE $10K or more! Just Google Pnina Tornai who designs exclusively for Kleinfeld's and you'll get the idea of some of the outrageous gowns these brides purchase but thankfully those styles and prices are NOT the norm.

Haha, I got my dress at Kleinfeld. Shay was my consultant, and was nothing like he acts on the show.
My request was "No Pnina Tornai fairy princess stripper dresses". That's what I said verbatim.
He stuck to my budget and the overall experience was awesome. Nailed the appointment.

Yes!  I couldn't imagine being away from my kids that long, especially dealing with a newfound autism diagnosis.  To me she showed where her priorities were and it wasn't her family.  Roger made no secret of the fact he was against the show and I could totally see her continued filming, being away etc. an issue.

If you have been following, apparently Jenni was the one pushing for an autism diagnosis and early intervention, but Roger wanted to brush it under the rug and insist that everything was fine.

For a 40 ? year old man, Roger's instagram posts are EXTREMELY immature and drama filled. I get that JWoww isn't the picture of perfection here, but I really do think that a lot of her "persona" at this point is for show, same with Snooki.

Apparently for that Mother's Day video that most of the cast declined to film, Roger was the one who approached everyone. I read somewhere months ago that the cast didn't respond because apparently, they aren't on good terms with Roger. While I think they should have done it for Jenni, it makes me wonder why the cast isn't on great terms with him and doesn't like him. I can very easily picture a scenario where they know something we all don't about their marriage/relationship. For the past couple of months, Roger has been making very public posts begging Jenni to work on their marriage. All of this just rubs me the wrong way. Jenni may be loud and abrasive on the show, but she doesn't really drag her REAL life into it, I feel. There's a line for her. If you really want to make amends with your spouse, is posting on instagram about it incessantly the right way to do it?

I can't explain it, but something about Roger pings my womanly instinct, and not in a good way.

Like the rest of the TM’s (except you Chelsea) - she’s a hot mess. With poor fashion and plastic surgery choices. But I do notice that her house always looks neat and put together (not my taste and not interested in Pinterest myself - too old?). Her kids do seem happy and well-adjusted (probably credit to Jo and Javi the Famewhore).

Unlike whatever’s going down on The Land. If Chris (or anybody) took an ATV to grind up her property - I’m pretty sure she’d lose her shit (likely protective order). And all her pets seem to be fixed (or as Jenelle would say “spayded”) and accounted for.

The blender is a Vitamix, which if you use a blender a lot, is the only way to go.  It has a lifetime warranty.  Anything goes wrong, they'll fix it or replace.  It can do a lot of things, not just blend.

The mixer is a KitchenAid, which again is the best around.  People buy those for a lifetime, and even gift to their children once they pass away.  All of the attachments you buy - they will always fit any model of the stand mixer.   There is a wide assortment of attachments - peelers, spiralizers, meat grinders, etc, so it's not merely a stand mixer.

The Dutch oven and the other similar pan are by Le Cruset.  If you are a serious cook (Mike seems to like to cook a lot), then it makes sense.  Those are also lifetime investments.

I've had a couple of crappy blenders, and I have a Ninja now, which is ok, but I sort of wished I had held out for the Vitamix.

It's basically asking for quality items rather than crap that you will have to replace later.  Plus, they had a wide range of items on the registry.  You register for what you'd like - a wish list.  It's no guarantee that you'll get everything, but why not list it?  They had stuff as low as $7.95.  The other people in the cast who make big bucks, plus maybe people with the network or the show who make bank, may want to spend something more than the average friend.  With all of the gadgets they had listed, someone could easily get several and put in a basket or something.  I didn't find it outrageous, to be honest.

Yeah, I'm seriously not seeing the hate. A Kitchenaid Mixer is one of the most common registry items, and I regret not registering for a Le Cruset. I also registered for AllClad pots and pans, though...

    ...and they were worth it.

I just got married at 33. By that time, you probably have had cheaper stuff and know it doesn't last. I know I did.

And that's one of the reasons I've never had and never wanted kids. I'm a great auntie to my niece and 2 nephews but I never wanted kids of my own. Everyone told me I'd change my mind when I announced at 12 that I would never have kids. I didn't change it.

I've had my life planned the way I wanted it for a long time and kids were never part of that plan.  I put in my 25 years with the government and retired before age 50 and moved to the country to the property I purchased when I was in my 20s.  I now live in a beautiful little log cabin in the middle of 36 acres and I have a small farm. I couldn't have done any of that if I was responsible for kids.

People tell me that with no kids I'll be lonely when I'm older. Nope. I love being alone,  I'll be just fine.

EDIT: Sorry, I went so off topic.

Just had to chime in because ahhh, your user name!!! <3 Fav episode.

On the flip side, I knew at like 7 that I wanted kids more than anything. In life, sometimes experiences do change us once we have years under our belt and some life we've lived...but there are some things I think that are just innate wants and preferences. I hope that people have been respectful of your choice!

No!!!! I've been an OB nurse and currently work with pregnant women. I also had my last at 35 without any genetic testing because I knew I was good. And someone said you can't do anything to affect outcome. I strongly disagree with that statement. Overall general health is so important for a positive outcome. Eat healthy foods. Drink water. exercise. Positive thinking  expecting a good outcome. These all help improve your chances of a perfectly healthy pregnancy and delivery. More and more women are waiting until they are in their 30s. You'll be fine if you take good care of yourself. I hope all goes well for you.

Thanks, I appreciate your response! My biggest enemy is positive thinking, only because I suffer from anxiety. I was managing it with antidepressants with I wasn't thrilled with, and I've been off them since June. I started taking prenatals in June as well, since my doctor said it was a good idea to start prior to even trying to conceive. I have been slacking on the exercise, but normally I am in SoulCycle all the time. I'm starting up with the workout routine again tomorrow (Wedding/teaching/back to school knocked me off my track haha).

Still not sure what it was called but it was from 2013 and here is a bridal site recap of the show ... http://bridalhotlist.com/tlcs-four-weddings-episode-recap-september-12th-3012848/

Re: DJ, hubby was okay with the decision (not that he had much say in the matter LMAO -- we agreed that it would all be her call, knowing it would probably end up LESS foofoo and LESS pricey done her way anyway LOL) ... I was on her side on this from the get-go because I know how deep/obscure her taste in music is (even within the parameters of Motown and the 90s) and I think a band would get the required song list and just want to kill themselves, whereas with a DJ she can sit down with him/her well in advance, give him the list of "must play songs" and the basics for the rest and let him roll ... at my own wedding, our first dance was pretty obscure and the band did a great job of learning it but they also played a TON of the songs we had on the "don't play these" list.

Her wedding is going to be awesome but quite intimate. I think she's inviting 70 people which means it will be closer to 60 when all is said and done. It's at a fantastic venue (we actually saw it on another wedding show, "I Want THAT Wedding") but I don't think there's any way it's big enough for a band to set up! Little Snappy is a super-low-key bride-to-be. Definitely not a bridezilla. No wedding party, no color scheme (green for greenery at the venue and beige for wine barrels LOL), no horah, no cake smoosh. No cake, actually (churro ice cream sandwiches). No wedding gown (we'll go shopping for perhaps a wedding jumpsuit when we go out to visit in January). But full open bar and great food.

Instead of a father-daughter dance, they are going to play and sing a duet (he on keyboard, she on guitar). Not sure what song yet but willing to guess it will be sentimental enough there won't be a dry eye on this mom who will not wear mascara.

You can tell your husband that I'm firmly on his team as well; just got married and had a band on August 25th on Long Island. My band didn't play one song on my do not play list, and they were awesome. I think a lot of it depends on who you book!

Whether if it's a band or a DJ, even though I really like live music, if it's someone who knows how to read a room and really PLAY a wedding, both are great options. We had a nine piece band and everyone was dancing. I wasn't a bridezilla, but I can't call myself a bridechilla either, since we had 250 guests (both Italian) and we planned the whole thing in 6 months.

I love the duet in place of the father-daughter dance, that is awesome and so meaningful. Wish I could pull off a jumpsuit; I'm petite with a tiny waist and huge butt/thighs, so that wouldn't ever be an option for me. I am always envious when I see a woman wearing one!

My husband and I couldn't care less about the cake; in fact, he wanted Entemann's. I really don't even remember eating it! They had to pull me off the dance floor to cut it, I was having such a good time. I was the last of all my friends to get married, so I knew what I hated as a guest/what I liked, and tried to make decisions accordingly. At the end of the day, yes, it's your day with your spouse, but your guests are GUESTS and should be taken care of as well.

These brides are always insane. I'm watching a re-run now and I love that I can tell when it aired based on the style of the dress. Pickups, ugh.
