I want to give Ysabel such a big hug and head pats right now. Kody is such a butthead. Kody, your daughter needs you and wants you to go. No, she's not your only kid, but...none of the others are facing major surgery right now. No other emergencies happening. Yes, it will knacker your quarantine with Robyn for weeks, but you can *&$^ @*6 go with her, quarantine with her, support her, and then when you get back, you can start the clock before you can bug out and get back to your actual wife.
Dude, your kids know you don't want to prioritize them. You say you have your relationships with your children THROUGH their mothers...you know how you can get around that, right? Even during Covid. They all have phones. You can do like I did with a friend who is quarantined. Drive your midlife crisis car over to Ysabel's damn house, sit in it in the driveway, with the windows up, and talk to her on the phone, while she sits on the porch. I'm sure any of your kids would value that as an effort to stay involved.

I am loving Meri this season. Whether she has decided to force herself to be okay with her treatment by Kody, or she is "just here for my paycheck, folks" she is seriously fun to watch. It's like she's telling Kody, "Hi, I'm the millstone around your neck that you can NEVER get rid of..."
If the "pond" is just rainwater run off, what happens after they grade the lots, build, and landscape? The pond disappears from Kody's lot and ends up in Meri's, or Christine's? Do we make them pack and switch houses?

That made me uncomfortable. Kelli doesn’t have to ask Travis if she is being old fashioned; she has a daughter about the same age that she could check herself against. It just felt like she was trying to influence his opinion.

I think alumni should have been hosting all along. Glad they are finally doing that, but I really don’t need to see the whole castle…Kleine’s voiceover made it seem like Natalie cheered for two years…

Interesting. VK says she will be auditioning in 2022. So she's planning this to be a break, not an ending. I hope she's okay.

I LOVE Nicole Hamilton. Nicole, Kandi, Leah, and Christina Parker are the girls that caught my eye in the first season.
I keep giggling over a tiny piece of choreography in season 2. Every time I see it, I just break down laughing. It’s during Season 2 camp, kind of early in the season. The girls are faced away from the camera, bootie-popping. Then, they all lift their left legs, and go briefly into a pose my brain calls “Gotta Fart!”
When it comes around again, I’ll try to get a clip of it to share...

Also, those beds do not come cheap, even with insurance. If Cindy is from another state, there might be a problem getting her benefits moved to Texas, so they could get the bed.

I’ve gotten up to Season 7 in my rewatch, and Kody’s treatment of Meri started being noticeable to me during the building of the Vegas compound. Having her be over budget with just one child to budget for, and then the whining over not getting IN the house right away….well, that annoyed ME. And I could see him less and less able to control his annoyance, and then anger, that she was so needy all the time.
