  1. I liked this one.  It was still Courney learns a valuable  lesson but it was nice how he weighted the two options.  I am really enjoying the banter between the T.K, Jermaine and Val more.

YES YES YES! i love this show. I LOVE THIS SHOW. it makes me smile, it makes me happy, it takes me 45 minutes to watch because I am constantly rewinding to watch TK deliver his lines. This time I rewatched the dance segment several times - Jermaine's and TK's faces/experssions were priceless!!!! Lea can go, i don't care about her, but i love everything else about this show. Please don't take it away from me!  (For those of you on twitter, the cast is very active and very interested in your thoughts. I have tweeted the last few weeks and tagged Marcel, Brandon, Yvette and the creator, Jeremy Bronson, and they have each RT and liked each time. Imagine my surprise waking up to those notifications after YNB retweets you! :-)  )

I love that it's old school TGIF fare - light and fluffy and lesson learned to boot.

My favorite part of this ep? Those suave fellas sauntering to the car (where they all get in the front seat - HA!) and then as soon as the door closes they all freak out because the pretty girl finally paid attention to one of them. I love it!

But without Val you have no grounded person in the office.   I like the 3 guys but they are basically all the same character.  They need a straight guy to work off of some times..

  3. Not sure why that would cause vomiting but it would be pretty cliche.   The producers  seem to want to show Courtney in a positive light and good role model so him hoking up with a subordinate would throw that all out the window.

At most they will be flirty no real substance.

My only grip is that I wish they would have spent a little more time on the shock of him becoming mayor and the transition during that time.  It seems like it went from him winning to being mayor at the blink of an eye.  Other than that, I'm still enjoying the show and hope it doesn't get cancelled.

yeah in the pilot when he fixed up the park he was still mayor elected so I had hoped they would stick with that for a episode or two.

  5. The irrational part to me is when there seems to be little separation  between actor and character.

That said I think Lea does a decent job with the material has been given and the way they have styled Val is great.  Yvette is solid as usual and I like  all the guys. I might like the sidekicks more than the mayor tbh.

  6. I think they are stars by being in glee.

But my original post said nothing about them being stars anyway, it was how people would act like they would never work again, period.

I have much more I could say with the unnecessary comparisons, but I'll leave it at that.

Performers can sign on a show for a limited duration (or even number of performances I believe), often with an option to renew. It gives them flexibility in case another project comes up or if they already have something in the works, as some shows and movies can take a few years to be eventually produced (or fail to do so).

I know I just do not see her doing it again on Bway for a year like she singed for the West End.    I see 6 months  but again would depend on when they do it.  I am sure there would be a break between the leaving the West end and starting up on Bway.

We certainly do not know how much of this is a real feud, a simple disagreement or a manufactured story. It has had some legs at this point, but LM takes the high road, which is often the best course of action in terms of PR.

One skill actors, singers, politicians and other celebrities have got to master quickly, if it is not innate to them, is how to deal with an out-of-left-field silly or embarrassing question they get from some interviewers.

I don't doubt they had their moments on set but that was over 2 years ago.   I meant Lea isn't fueling it in public at least  she rather not play that game it seems.

  9. A seemingly one sided Feud.  Lea has yet to do anything to fuel this so called feud.

It wasn't the most eloquent re-direction, but it was good that Lea essentially said "I don't mind talking about Glee, but let's talk about the good things." She even somewhat complimented Naya on the next question.

Not sure how easy it is ever to field a  stupid question.

I'm not attacking Lea or the guys at all. I'm just amused at the revival of the erstwhile fan narrative about "Daleastreet".

And I amused people still are amused about a few pictures they took 3 years ago.

Lea pretty much almost always she says she stays in touch with those two when asked though not just this week.  It also is not like Lea is hiding it she said in a interview they got together becasue they were both doing music and it was a way to connect with their old fans.

  11. Yeah it has very little chance but for the hell of it.

Chanel does something wrong and has to do community service or something to try to make herself look good so she takes a group of troubled teens  to Summer Camp on Blood Island.    She convinces Zayday and #5 to come along for rest and for medical emergency help if needed.

Dean Muncsh is killed off in the opening sequence.

They need to keep Hester and Denise around for the majority of time cause they need that comedy  that Zayday and the Chanels don't bring.   Kill off the original girls.  Leaving Denise to kill  the murderer and maybe keep final girl.

Mostly no multiply killers try  to actually make people  think it is a pair of original girls only for it to be Zayday OR #5.

In fairness I don't follow Lea on social media, so much of this is stuff that's shown up in my search on Instagram but regarding the album, I don't know that there's much to comment on. Again, unless I've missed stuff, which is possible, it was mostly a lot of behind the scenes shots of her getting her makeup done, staging being set up, etc. for her first music video. There really wasn't anything to judge as good or bad because no song or album has been released yet.

I have always been a firm believer that if you overuse something, there's a risk of it losing it's power. YMMV but I think we're a little too quick to throw out the body shaming, slut shaming, etc. accusations. Being over seeing the same thing is not shaming a person in my opinion. It is simply saying that after seeing something repeatedly, it does get a little old.

I like Beyonce and think she is an extremely talented performer but I'm tired of seeing her in these pantless bodysuits and feel like I've seen too much of her ass. And before it's said that only women get judged like that, I also get tired of seeing shirtless selfies from some male celebrities. And I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the sentiment about Lea but that I don't think it was a comment that had to be taken that seriously.

I just found it odd in a thread that has not been added to in nearly year all of sudden when there is actual news regarding a new project it is about her posting and/or her body or whatever.  It was not her album or even the mention that she was a part of a group discussion on body image and empowerment.  IMO If  there had some context instead of ambiguity maybe it would have been understood better.

Personally I would comment on what she is doing rather than trying to shame her for what she does with her body.

That said, I wish I had half the confidence she does to do that.

Anyone heard if her album is any good?

Thank you.   Album will be released early 2017 and she did a music video and shot the album cover this week.

  14. If you are talking the NY poses it for her fans no harm no foul.  She'll move on from it soon.

She posted so much about her album this week yet thats the thing that gets a comment.
