I gave this show a chance, but its really hard to get into.  The rules are confusing, nothing happens until the final minutes, and many of the "contestants " are annoying.

Just think of it as "Big Brother" with relatives of celebrities. The bonus is that we get to find out who they are as they're eliminated🙃

  2. I don't think the empty seats have anything to do with him/his talent. We're in the middle of a covid surge/spike, so people are being cautious. Then very recently some idiot decided to throw large rocks at casino windows. The breakage sounded like gun fire and people started running in droves. The rumor spread quickly on the strip of an active shooter, spooking a LOT Of people. None of the rumors were true, and the idiot has been apprehended. When you add up all the unfortunate circumstances, it's no wonder people didn't show up.

  3. I couldn't agree more re: Beau's continued presence on the show. And quite frankly, I'm sick & tired of all the whiny ass stories and how shows are all trying to make a statement. And even though Jenna & JoJo made it far, I'm glad they didn't win.

How about shows stop with all the "woke" bullshit and get back to touting the best dancer?

Perhaps, but in that case they may need to rethink the show's title, especially if most of the people came into their money in ways other than the lottery.

As episodes go it wasn't bad, at least they were looking at nicer homes, not the typical tiny and underwhelming ones the show got into a rut with after a while.  Speaking of that, I've always had a beef with the intro. to this show for setting up the audience to see grand palatial estates, not tiny condos. and starter homes.  So it's needed to rethink itself for a while now.

Although I've never watched the intro (fast-forwarded), I agree with you that HGTV should rethink the show's title. OR maybe keep the Lottery show, but also allow David to host a sister-show that would be open to anyone who had an immediate windfall and are looking to purchase a new home.

Yeah, I agree, it felt wrong for them to be on a show about winning the lottery.  This is supposed to be about happy winnings, not lawsuits involving deaths.  I suppose they've had to branch out because they may not be finding enough lottery winners willing to go on the show due to privacy issues, but this was a little inappropriate if you ask me.  I noticed that David's demeanor was more somber as a result too.

At first I thought the same thing, but David handled it so respectfully, I actually wound up enjoying the episode. And I really don't mind if there's a similar repeat. I mean how many people actually win the lottery, and then want to announce it on TV...as well as showing their journey buying a house.

I think if we want David to continue hosting this show, HGTV has got to give him more of a variety of people who WANT to work with David....no matter HOW they came into their windfall. In fact, wasn't there a couple on who actually inherited money?

Hasn’t Paul (and maybe Andrew too?) met Roman as played by JT? So why didn’t he/they say something about how “Chris Gym Guy Kosticek” looks like someone they know in Salem?

Probably for the same reason no one says "Why does Kristen look so different outside of Salem?"

would've liked to know which houses placed second and third

A good bet would be Ty's couple, coming in second. Other than the kids's room, Taniya's team were terrible. Between that and having zero personality, this was definitely not the show for them.

Second & third were probably not announced so as not to embarrass Taniya's team.

Apparently, VK snd RSW hate each other post-breakup so I'm betting her leaving and him changing characters means that we're done with CIN.

Hate is a strong word. What did either one do to the other to deserve hate?

I've watched a few episodes over the last couple of days (just playing in the background) and must say that I finally got some respect for Sarah Rose when she disagreed with her grandmother, er I mean judge, about a decision and had well-founded reasoning for the disagreement.  I actually agreed with Sarah Rose and thought that took some courage to disagree with Judge Judy, er Judy Justice...

What did they disagree about? And what was JJ's reaction to Sarah's reasoning?

  10. I simply cannot feel sorry for someone who brought all this misfortune on herself.

And the really sad part is that she's STILL delusional...saying everything is fine, even though it's quite obvious, it's not.

She needs to check herself into some type of facility that can deal with both her physical AND mental health issues...stat.
