  1. Just got to Rachel's home date and all I can think is.. this is just a waste of time and even Joey knows it which is why he can't even muster up any reassurance for the mother during their conversation. The only thing Joey says about them is that they have fun together and there's an ease with them. I think we've seen a total of 2 interactions with them this entire season.

Also, her dad semi reminds me of Alfonso Ribeiro.

  2. I'm on episode 8 of this show and I am watching it because people have told me that it's similar to the new netflix show, "One Day." I see similarities and it's keeping my interest. But it seems more like a 50 shades of gray story than a "love" story. These characters have sex, but do they ever go on dates? Do they ever laugh together? Everything between them just always is so intense or sad which is fine and I know they are passionate about each other because they constantly tell us they are. But I wish they SHOWED us more about their connection. I want cute montages of them licking ice cream off of each other's faces and being silly together and having fun some of the time. What we see is basically them having sex over and over and yeah they cuddle, but what else is there that makes them so connected to each other?

Oh, he definitely was a hot commodity on BIP last season. I fear he's not going to want to settle down so quickly, as I got the feeling he's enjoying his newfound 15 minutes of fame.

I actually think tanner and Lexi look somewhat alike . Something about the facial structure.

  4. Joeys just really hot. I never felt anything from any of the bachelors but phew this guys doing it for me .

Even though I think he’s amazing, I get the feeling he’s gonna get engaged at the end of this but that it won’t last. I can see him being pursued by a celebrity of sorts ( like a Wells, Sarah hyland situation.) I just think between being so good looking and having a great personality, he’s gonna have his choice of a lot of people after the show is done. It was refreshing that the lead spoke about a timeline and was honest that he didn’t want to get married and have a family for years, but it sucks for all the girls who are already 30. It would work for girls like daisy and Kelsey who are only 25 and likely wouldn’t care about that timeline.

  5. Clayton, Colton, Zach, most of the bachelors I can remember did nothing for me. But Joey is really good looking and charming and his eye contact is incredible. He gives me the vibe that this is exhausting for him, too which I like. Some of the bachelors look like it's fun for them to date 30 women but but Joey seems like he'd rather be sleeping.

So many of these girls look so much alike and it's a sea of long brunette, wanded hair and a lot of the girls are tan. I cannot tell any of them apart. The sisters aren't gonna go anywhere with Joey. They are just plants to create drama. They will be on paradise though.

I mean, really- if you were thinking this show was really rigged, the final 3 should dispel you of any notions because none of them are fan favorites in the slightest. I mean, I don't actively hate them, but all pretty much played under the radar and none of them got a "winner's" edit. At this point I'm rooting for 51. Mai refusing to admit she eliminated Roland when she really had no reason to lie was pretty annoying.

She did have a reason to lie. If she admitted to choosing Roland, she would have been admitting to stabbing her friend in the back. She was close to Roland. So if anything in the final 3 challenges has to do with going against someone, they would have gone against Mai. I think Mai is the only smart one. She's playing to win the game. These other people are not. It's almost 5 millions dollars. I think Mai is great.

  7. What’s up with this new trend of saying, “it’s giving messy” or “it’s giving weird” etc. What happened to the other part of the sentence?

Jess has no personality. Like there’s just no fun in her. I think she’s a pretty girl but I can see why the guys aren’t going for her.

I feel bad for Rachel. I didn’t like her on her season but it really must sting to be rejected so much not only on her season, but here too. What Tanner said was mean about wishing Gabby was here instead. Meanwhile he was just saying he had a connection with her.
One thing about Rachel is she does sound very fake when she speaks. Her voice has so many octaves and she talks to people like they’re babies and she’s trying to teach them the ABC’s.

  8. I feel like Chris purposely stuck the knife in Johnie, but to be honest, I doubt she even cared much. She was never in love with him. She was just lonely and wanted to come out of the pods with a happy story.

I thought Izzy and Stacy would make it. But I think the low credit score drastically altered her decision, as it would mine. I never needed a rich guy, but that's different than needing someone who is responsible with money. I wouldn't want to take in someone else's financial burdens, especially someone I met like 2 weeks prior. I think she was into him to an extent, but I felt like he was way more into her than she him. I really didn't get a sincere vibe from her. She felt very "on" for the cameras at all times. Her personality would have exhausted me.

Uche is most definitely an asshole. I had a bad feeling about him since his conversation with Aaliyah about her cheating 2 years prior. It's one thing to ask questions and sound concerned, but he just kept hounding her and came off very condescending. Even at the bbq, he just kept talking and talking. He never shuts up.

I really have no comment on Johnie other than, I'd be very bored by her. She seems like she rarely smiles. Even all of her pod discussions ,she just seemed like a sob fest.

  9. It annoys me when on these reality shows, the family member comes in with a narrative and knows that whatever the person says, they will fire back with, "That is such a scripted answer." This happens on the Bachelor a lot and I just finished  the scene with Milton's sister saying it to Lydia. What answer are they exactly looking for when they ask the girl in front of 10 other family members why she loves their son? Like, what would the correct answer be that would satisfy them?

Also, I met my husband when he was 24. I'm only a year older than him but he was a lot more mature than a lot of older guys I've dated before him. Do I think these two should jump into marriage within 2 weeks? No. I think they should hold off, which I predict they'll do. They're not looking to even have kids within the next 5 years so them rushing is pretty stupid. But the age thing is kind of something silly that they keep bringing up when ultimately, Milton comes off more mature than the others.

I'm still confused as to how Johnnie was being sketchy or contradictory in her pod discussions with Izzy and Chris.  It seems like she told both of them that she usually goes for the "exciting" aka "bad" boy and hasn't previously gone for the safe, yet probably better choice.  That would be why she wanted Izzy.  After he didn't choose her, she was hurt, but realized that maybe she was wrong and should give the "safe" guy (Chris) a chance after all.  I still don't blame Chris for passing on the pod offer since he was clearly a second choice, but when was she unclear about that? I didn't really care for Johnnie in the pods, but I felt so bad that Izzy was so gleeful about attacking her.  Initially Stacy gave off mean girl vibes, but I started to reconsider when they were in Mexico.  This episode she was kind of off the charts, high-maintenance and mean.

Uche just loves to explain to people why he's right and they are wrong.  He really expects them to just sit there and listen to him lecture.  Does he ever smile?  I don't think he even likes people very much.  What a condescending hypocritical jerk.

I thought him bashing her was very uncalled for and it brought out a side of Izzy that I don't think will bode well for him in his relationship, but Johnie did contradict herself in the pods. She told Izzy that she always goes for the "safe" guys and she was sick of playing it safe. She told him that she only saw a friendship with Chris. Meanwhile, she told Chris that she always goes for the "bad boys" and she wanted to change her ways and that she is very into him.

I don't believe that Johnie is actually into Chris. I think she WANTS to be into him. I think she also wanted to stick it to Izzy that she found love despite him dumping her.

  11. Only half way through this episode but holy moly, JP is scary. He really gives me the creeps.

I do think Taylor looks much better without makeup but the way he was going off about it was really odd. He couldn't get past the reveal for 3-4 days because she was wearing too much makeup? lol. They've been out of the pods for a while. Time to move on. Taylor was giving that conversation more time and energy than I would have. I would have run for the hills (or ocean.)

  12. Does JP have a pulse? Holy crap. Poor Taylor kept trying to pull conversation out of him and he just wouldn't budge.

I'm definitely the talkative one in my own relationship. My husband tends to be more quiet (not nearly as much as JP, but still very much an introvert and I make a lot of the conversation.) But we've been married for 6 years, together for almost 10. In the beginning, he was active in conversations or else I wouldn't have married him lol. These two just met and he has zero to say to her or ask her? I think I'd end it on the spot. I don't think she's very attracted to him but I think if he was to give more, personality wise, she'd grow more attracted. I'm sure he's not too attracted to her either but I think it's more than that. He just has a very awkward personality. These two will never make it.

Izzy and Stacy have great chemistry. He's very good looking and she is attractive (she looks way better with less or no makeup.) They have fun together which is really important at this stage of the game. They act how people in a new relationship should act. Fun, flirty, lighthearted. But I can see him being a cheater. He has a way of speaking too much . I saw this in his conversation with Lydia. He could have just said that he was glad to meet her and that she's a great person but they are both happy with how things panned out. But he kept talking, and talking and talking. I could see him having a wandering eye eventually. I definitely do think Johnie was too serious for him, though. He needs someone with more of a Stacy personality.

Lydia's personality would never be a good fit for me, but it seems to be working for Milton, so have at it.

Both Uche and Aaliyah need to work on themselves before trying to get engaged and married to someone else. I think both are annoying.

  13. First off, I’m surprised they guys like Johnie . Her voice is so nasally. I just don’t think she sounds attractive . Secondly, she’s always so serious . I get that you need to show your “vulnerable” side but you also should have some fun. I also couldn’t believe she told Izzy that she didn’t  have feelings for Chris and she only saw a friendship with him .. only to get dumped by Izzy and run back to Chris to try to stay on tv longer ahem I mean win him back . Then proceed to win him back by calling him safe and not exciting .
Also, she’s telling the guys that she’s always been into guys with substance abuse problems and one died of an overdose . She even said she was a red flag . What are these guys exactly into about her ?

Gino, run. Now is the time. You need to go home and work on yourself. Find out why you aren't able to speak up for yourself and why you let Jasmine walk all over you. This time you apparently had had enough and did have a little bit of courage to talk back to her. But it wasn't enough. I see a pattern of your giving in but if you have any respect for yourself, leave.

Stop lethargically sitting on the bed after an argument and moping; get up, pack your things and leave. Let her be evicted for not paying the rent and don't feel bad about it. She's a manipulator and a mentally unstable woman and you can't fix her. Realize it and thank your lucky stars you didn't marry her.

This woman is just as abusive as Angela.  Two unstable peas in a pod.

While I do believe Jasmine has an explosive temper, I also think a lot of their storylines are exaggerated or made up to keep themselves on the show or to give them a spinoff. I also don't think Gino is as innocent as he tries to portray himself. The texting his ex wife naked? pictures of Jasmine was not something a good guy would do.

  15. That was the most manipulative conversation between statler and Dempsey . Statler wasn’t getting what she wanted so she threw in the “ I’m adopted and nobody will ever love meee.” So ridiculous . Your parents didn’t even know you lol . They had their reasons I’m sure but the one that’s not on the list is that it was because they didn’t like your personality as a baby .

Everytime I watch Niiiiiicola and Meisha I am so confused because of the mismatch . She’s beautiful , fun , sweet and he’s none of that . All he does it throw religious phrases out there but he’s unattractive and not nice . What does he have going for him that she can’t find any better ?

I think David handled himself well with the son. In fact before he did the hand game , I was thinking that instead of small talk, first have fun with him because fun is universal and they can’t communicate otherwise at this moment . I really feel for David . Other people can learn his language but he can’t learn theirs and it’s got to be very hard to build relationships .

  16. I’m starting to like the series more this season, though I do think they have too many characters now and because of that , the storylines for each of them are short and pointless, making it hard to care about any of them .

Charlottes face seemed less botoxed this episode and she looked much better in her scenes . Did anyone else notice that too or was it just me lol

Oh dear lord, I always favoured Big and Aiden has not changed AT ALL.  He shouldn’t have accepted the invitation.  I can see him and Carrie reaching the same point again when he wants to stay home in his tighty whiteys and eat KFC out of the bucket.  They were right to split 20 years ago because the are fundamentally very different people.  I don’t need a redux!

Also, I always loved Charlotte and this episode gave her exactly what I wanted for her.  It’s ok to want your own life back!  Her daughters and friends don’t deserve her and Harry is Harry! He’s wonderful and she’s lucky to have him.  Go own it Charlotte York Goldenblatt!!

And finally, why do TV shows always have to make people insanely insecure and OTT about the most overrated “holiday” … never in my real life have I had a conversation with my friends about Valentines Day and being alone.  It’s so cliche … stop it!! I beg you!

But what I found funny was that in the movie , Big got to that point too . He wanted to just stay in and watch tv and Carrie grew bored of that. I think Carrie needs a much younger guy who is very much into the going out scene . At this point , I think that’s the only type she won’t get bored of. I am unsure why Carrie and Aidan are still drawn to each other . Like you said , they are fundamentally so different. And she’s screwed him over at least twice already . Even if he is so in love with her, she clearly was never in love with him . She begged and begged him to give her another chance with her “ you haveeee to forgive me “ speech, but then he let his guard down and she screwed him over again . She never wanted to marry him but was jumping at the chance to marry Big. Carrie’s love for Aidan all these years later just doesn’t make sense to me . He was never “it” for her .

I saw this on the main page. What SATC did they watch?

For real ! Aidan caused trouble in Carrie’s relationship with Big ? Do they have the two guys confused ?

I do enjoy seeing Aidan .. but it’s been established about 12 times already that they are not for each other . They don’t mesh . Aidan is a down to earth guy who just wants a simple life enjoying down time with family. Carrie needs 24/7 city action . Nothing wrong with either lifestyle , but those 2 people don’t belong together . He lives in Virginia now so that makes it make even less sense . Carrie’s issue wasn’t that Aidan wasn’t Big , it’s that they lived opposite lifestyles.

  19. I’m trying to understand what Carrie’s guy did that would make him such a dealbreaker . Sure , he had a big thing going on at work and at the moment he was swamped but some people actually … work . The guy was super handsome, really nice and seemed like a catch . She could’ve given it some time before writing him off .

I understand why they had to break Steve and Miranda up . You cant have all the main characters married on this kind of show . But then the writers continue to have her in a serious relationship anyway so it makes no sense . For a couple of seasons they should have Miranda going through different people like in the original and having some quirky thing wrong with them . Hoping they make her single soon .

I've really been enjoying this season.  I like that it's a completely different story than the first one and a whole new feel.

What I still don't understand is why, in both this season and the first, the appearance of the main character in the "one year later/two years later" has gone completely dark with absolutely no explanation.  Jeannette chopped her hair short and became practically goth-like, but we never saw that happen or found out WHY.  Megan has the slicked back hair and facial piercings and "edgy" clothes - again, with no sense of WHY.  I get that they need to distinguish the time difference, but doing it this way both times makes it hard to take seriously and kind of gives this sense that they just plain didn't know what else to do, which doesn't really reflect well on them as writers/directors.

Otherwise, I'm happy with this season.

I said that to my husband yesterday . It’s too much with the goth and they did it both seasons to differentiate between years but they could’ve just dyed Megan’s hair a darker color lol . Didn’t have to do so extreme .
