I was lucky enough to do it during Covid when we couldn't leave the house for 2 years .  He should have an easy time of it with short hair. There is also a process you can go through that takes several hours.  I wonder how CLB did his. His hair is gorgeous, so is Michael Knights. I am really happy that I embraced the grey. Keeping up with it was too hard and I hated my roots showing. It looks good with my blue eyes too.

    ++++++++++++

Same. More than the money, even, it was the time. I'd have the Phyllis streak of gray in my part after 3 weeks. I wonder if MS is considering it because I have to say I have never noticed her before with the roots showing so much. I doubt it, though, because she dresses like a teenager with the crop tops, etc. in her private life.

LOL they both did Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.

OK... that is ENOUGH! lol  No comparison. I wanted purple socks in my Donny Osmond era and never have I ever fantasized about Danny Romalotti. lol

I always felt like it was the LAMEST storyline. You know if you want to have rockstar lifestyles and "launches" (Good God remember the Restless Style drivel?), set your soap in LA, Miami, NYC, Vegas. It ain't happenin' in Genoa City.

  2. So I am wondering how MD can go to a more natural hair color. I was one of the people who ditched coloring and highlighting my then medium brown hair and going gray and it was a painful year-long + process lol  I did go heavy on the highlights and lightened it a little to help with the transition but I am thinking how do you go from pretty much black hair to even some gray when you are on TV?

Not sure why anyone would think a tween or early teen who we hardly see dealing with OCD is must-see TV. Totally lame and over-dramatized. (Boes, cracking up at the thought of his parents both taking flying lessons off the GCAC's roof. lol)

And why are they going so hard suddenly on Summer being Harrison's mother? The Newmans did not give a shit about Harrison until this week.

And Nikki really is without any redeeming qualities. Her "gretat-grandson" has been kidnapped by someone who tried to kill her and her family and she runs to the Abbotts for Jack to comfort her?

He'll likely be hopping on a different groupie in every town his tour stops in.

I shudder to think of the kind of groupie Danny could attract. I think of some late 50s, early 60s barfly with a bad dye job, pleather pants, and a Sky Top from Plato's Closet and reeking of total desperation.

And of course shitty taste in music.

Danny Romalotti is a joke, the description of him as a prune is spot on.  The dyed and coiffed hair is ridiculous on a man of his age.  I've thought for years that both the character and actor are very effeminate, I don't understand why Christine and Phyllis have fought over this lump for years and years.

The icing on this awful cake is apparently he does the deed in a black wifebeater. Twice we have seen that.

  5. Honestly, Jo's behavior reminds me of a bipolar friend when she was using (meth). (And I hate to be anywhere near that odious Katie on anything so it pains me.) However, Jo does not seem to have a rough edge or "woe is me" attitude that I think is common with addicts. But awkward conversations and kind of manic mannerisms? Yeah. So I don't know but I feel certain that is not just ADHD there.  lol

Jo said she has ADHD. It's obvious.

I still don't have too much sympathy for Lala regarding Rand's betrayal.

I cringed at Ariana leaving food overnight in her bedroom.

  7. I don't understand the decision to use the fake background for Connor at school. The audience knows he is there. They could have put him at a generic table or bed like he was in a dorm room or dining hall. Stuck him somewhere really outside like he was outside on campus with a generic wall behind him. The production quality should be better than a zoom background! Shit like that really contributes to the half-ass reputation soaps get. Sets should be more sophisticated than community theater.

Will Victor step in and take charge, throwing his weight around to save Connor so Connor will respect him more than his parents? @@

Thanks for that. I'm trying to remember if anyone ever said "Jordan Howard." The constant references to "Jordan" or even "that Jordan woman" always seemed odd, especially since folks keep saying "Eve Howard."

I think they do that to differentiate from baby Eve.

Jordan is an odd name choice for a 60-70ish woman, anyway.

This seems like an extremely minor infraction to me, if it's even a violation at all. It's not abnormal for EMTs to say vital sign info out loud in the situation; they were just doing their job. Does HIPAA have specifications about reality show reunions? It was an emergency situation and they responded; it would be really dumb for someone to pull aside the EMTs and brief them on HIPAA rules, which they presumably know already. Plus, if it was an issue, Bravo could have edited it out. And maybe Sutton didn't care and gave consent.

I guess the EMT was supposed to write her vitals down, fold the note over and hand it to Sutton. 🤣 Healthcare workers have to talk to their patients!

To be fair, some of the ladies spoke up about going with Crystal to the hospital, but someone on the production side told them no and that a producer would go with her.  :)

The absolute last thing I would want at an ER is an entourage. In fact it annoys me when I am in an ER waiting room and people bring 5 people in with them for some reason (I am not talking about people who are critically ill where this could be their last goodbye). And I sure would not want people who were only there because "what will it look like if we are not?"

OR--Claire is really playing the Newmans and kidnaps the kid!

I don't think the Newmans care about Harrison because he is not Newman blood let alone "pure" Newman. Abby and Adam have always been second-class Newmans and Dylan McAvoy third-class. They won't care about Little Lord Fountleroy.

All I could think of was, after being out of town for months, who stops off for fancy groceries to make a surprise lunch for someone who may not even be home.pp

She said she was going to come up with a plan for him to run home from work so she could surprise him with her presence and lunch.

BTW I actually heard Rock On on Sirius XM's 80s on 8 today. lol  Made me think of a weathered face with goth hair.

Rob is old enough to be Crystal's father, no one thinks that's creepy.  Men, especially wealthy men, date and marry women 20, 25 years younger all the time.  Of all the stuff about Kyle and Morgan, I think the age difference is the least of it.

As mentioned earlier, much hay has been made over the years about Erika and Tom's age difference. (Dorit also made  a crack about Crystal (24, I think?)  being a "child bride" to Rob (45) and was called racist for it.)

Sutton was so scared of Kathy that her body reacted, or Sutton was so scared of Kathy she found a way to exit the stage - good on her I guess. How convenient for Garcelle lol.

I think Garcelle would have been more direct with Kyle than Andy. I don't think she is afraid of any confrontation. lol

Lily's return was a breath of fresh air.  I don't have a clue how she'll react to the goings on at Chancellor/Winters but I hope hope hope she takes out her anger on both ButtBiscuit AND Devon.  Please, Show, let Lily show her claws and give those two knuckle draggers someone real to fear.  I'd like her to banish Aunt Messy to the land of bad hairdos, too.  I can't wait to see her relegate Daniel's "life changing game" to the sale counter at Costco and demote Heather to part-time bathroom cleaner at CW, night shift.

The thing I disliked the most about today's show is that it's not going to be anywhere near as fun or fulfilling to listen to Daniel tear Phyllis a new one now that he's acted exactly like her.

Same. Today's show can spare me with the piano music to signal that Daniel and Heather's scene at Society was about twu wuv . I really want to see the three of them struggle on the street because Lily shit-canned both of their careers.

Blood pressure skyrockets with severe dehydration, and kidneys may go into temporary but total failure. Happened to my relative when he had stomach bug. Hospitalized for three days. 10 days seems like a lot, especially when hospitals kick you out real quick - maybe took awhile to stablize Sutton.

Actually, my understanding is blood pressure craters when you are dehydrated. My husband was very dehydrated with covid and passed out with bp of 78/47.  Popped right back up with fluid.

She might have been just under the weather to start. I don't think one can "fake" high bp and it was high enough that they told her to go seek help.

I am pretty much healthy but have, on three occasions, passed out-- I mean, out cold-- due to dehydration. Clearly, it took a few bad scares for me to learn how to stay adequately  hydrated and I think being under those lights and unable to take sips at intervals would have led me to the same place as Sutton.  I don't drink  or have an eating disorder, nor am I medically fragile.  To be honest, my MD said, as crazy as it may sound, that some people are just more prone to faint.

I have not passed out but I had visual disturbances (everything looked smoky) that sent me to the hospital (afraid of a stroke) and it was dehydration. I could see my sight getting better as the IV dripped in. I did not feel thirsty. I was not sick. I apparently overdid it in the heat. I would have never thought I could be that dehydrated and not know it!

Yup. I just find it all so cringey because she looks AND acts like she’s very young.

100% if Mauricio was romancing a woman 26 years younger, much would be made of it. People will say no but look at Erika and Tom (32 year age gap). He has probably been called a sugar daddy (it ain't wrong) their entire relationship.

For someone who prides herself on being a great mother (just ask her - she'll tell you), she sure is gone a lot chasing tail while Portia spends her last few years under their roof. Not to mention her other kids and their pets.

I used to like Kyle. I liked that she did seem to be an attentive mom and I liked that her dogs were a little wild and it seems well-loved. I don't know if she has changed that much or is just now revealing her true colors and I didn't see them.

ETA: By the way, has anyone seen older pics of Morgan? This idea she is this earthy, genuine singer-songwriter who only cares about her craft is laughable. Girlfriend has had a lot of work done by the ripe old age of 29, particularly her lips.

Oh the hemming and hawing from Kyle over her country crooner is so lame! Also….“critically acclaimed?”

Maybe she is - I admit im not up on the country scene but I still don’t get the Morgan fascination. I just don’t.

And no mention that she is younger than Farrah.

  19. Ashley is one of the most annoying people on this entire franchise. And that says a lot. STFU you are not the host! Handle your own shit before you stick your nose in everyone else's. (And I do not believe they "bang it out" all the time. She tries too hard to convince people of that.)

You brought up something I hadn't thought of -- there really are no convincing mothers on this show.  Phyllis?  Please, she needs an introduction to her kids -- or does she even remember she has kids?  Ashley rarely ever mentions or thinks of Abby.  Sorry, but MTS & AH have zero chemistry so their scenes are always awkward.  Actually, MTS's scenes with Claire are a bit better, but those hugs btw Claire & AH look so uncomfortable.

Victoria shipped her kids off to boarding school and almost never mentions Reed. If you were a new viewer (like they would ever get one ... lol) how would you even know she had kids?

Diane is too busy competing with her son for a job plus she played dead for years. They sent Sharon's kids, except Mariah, away. Noah who? I guess Lily goes and sees her kids.

MS really needs a haircut. I always thought she looked better with a bob she sometimes curled a little. Now she looks like someone auditioning for the Real Housewives of Orange County in 2009. Wardrobe needs to get her a Sky Top.

Tricia Cast is awesome.  I love her scenes with Chance.  He's so beautiful & she's such a good actress.  Btw, despite the supposedly steamy bed scene, are Summer & Chance just about the dullest soap couple ever?  Maybe not ever, but wow, they are dull together.

I really, really dislike the Nina scenes. OK ... we get it. 🙄 You are a worrier. Busy body, overbearing mother is GC's newest Mary Williams.
