Pretty sure if her mom is involved in the planning, it will meet those parameters.

Robyn loves everything tacky and ugly, so yeah, no way any of those girls get anything less than the tackiest event Robyn can think of.

  2. So, Liz gets  pregnant, in theory not on purpose, and she’s rewarded with a room for her and the baby, and a car?

Meanwhile Amber is saying we’re having a girl and is going to be disappointed if the baby isn’t a little person. Sure, wish for a potentially serious condition for your granddaughter. Yes the Johnston family hasn’t had the same extreme health conditions others have had, so you’re very lucky, but making it very clear her heart will be broken if the baby is average size is just stupid and cruel. That was certainly a thought that didn’t need to be televised for the world and baby to look back on.

Someone please send this whole family back to elementary school! The way they all managed to make repeated grammatical errors was cringe worthy.

I don't know if it was the angle, or if her head and body are just so big, and he's like a skinny guy with a pin head?

It doesn’t help she sits a lot more forward in the couch than he does, it throws off the optics.

Based on the conversation on last night's episode, it sounds like Liz did not go to the doctor before she told the parents. I don't really like Amber but she was right that the prenatal care is important especially on Liz's case. Also, it showed Liz and Brice going to one of those "shopping mall ultrasound places." Why would they go there if they already had a doctor?

I haven’t watched yet, but the strip mall ultra sound place probably has way less of an issue with filming than an actual obgyn. And if she’s really that stupid to have had zero medical care until she told the parents, no wonder why no one looked happy. It’s one thing to not tell the parents right away, but to just ignore it when you know you’re high risk, that’s a level of stupidity that’s inexcusable. I’d also be questioning her nursing skills if I was her boss. Like when I was a 18 year old kid who weighed 180 pounds, and my doctor who was easily 400 pounds told me to join the high school swim team to lose weight. Bitch, please.

Exactly; like an adult nurse wouldn't know enough to get prenatal care without Amber orchestrating it?  But then, she didn't know enough to use birth control, so...  (Personally, I think the pregnancy was planned -- at least by Liz.)

Yeah, my younger sister got pregnant at 16…. Accidentally on purpose. I’m  guessing that’s what happened here.

I didn't like the A White Water Romance. While the scenery was nice, Cindy's character was terrible. I hated her from start to finish, getting a promotion at the end was stupid.

I watched about 35 minutes and then gave up. The character, actress, and whole plot were horrible. Ignoring both the boss in New York and the company owner both seemed like horrible options, the idea of of a promotion based on outdoor sports for a job that seemingly had nothing to do with them was really just stupid.  I'm still trying to figure out how the dead cell phone with the charger that was apparently gnawed thru by bugs suddenly became charged later that night....in the woods... in a half built tent. I don't expect much from these movies, but this one was really bad.

I saw an interview online where Amber said Liz didn't tell them until she was 5 months along. I wonder if that also means that Liz didn't get any prenatal care for the first 5 months. That seems pretty irresponsible considering Liz is 22 and a nurse. She should know better. And being a dwarf she would a high risk pregnancy.

However, we know in real time that Leighton is already born and doing well. So, no worries I guess. :)

She’s 22, she doesn’t need her parents to take her to the doctor and probably has her own insurance, so no reason for Amber to know about any appointments.

  8. They must not have gotten permission to actually film at the talent show. The close ups could have been filmed anywhere, and the longer shots looked like Anna took footage on her phone of Emma taking footage on her phone.

I loved how they had to have Anna doing a talking head and Liz mentioning not drinking since Liz was obviously knocked up by the 4th of July when they were in Texas. I read a while back Liz didn’t tell the parents until damn near 20 weeks, so that’s kind of tracking.

I expect to hear any minute that Jonah and his Buddy have opened a bar-b-q joint.  This series has become like a really long commercial for that.  Either Ashley has very low self-esteem or she's a paid actor playing Jonah's long-distance GF, and his real relationship is the guy he smokes pork with (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Why in the world couldn't Liz find some FRIENDS to share her house with and help pay the rent?  Surely she's in school with other nursing students just starting out in the area who would be a perfect fit.  Heck, it seems to me even black sheep Anna had a potential roommate at one point.  Doesn't Liz have any FRIENDS? I seem to recall her rubbing it in Emma's face that she has FRIENDS while poor "loser" Emma has only a lowly cousin, who doesn't really count as a FRIEND.

I don't think Jonah and his friend even own their own smoker. so I don't buy he's a master of BBQ.

I still want to know what Liz is doing with all her money. She's a dialysis nurse and on a TV show, she should be able to afford rent. Anna swings a mortgage and she just graduated college last month. I can't remember what Anna's been doing for work, but I can't imagine she's making all that much hawking her jewelry, so her day job must pay decently enough.

  10. I'd love to know when the taking heads were filmed for this season. The more I see them, the more you can see Liz's annoyance with them. Her foot is tapping up a storm. And Jonah seems to be hiding a secret too.

Who decided tho have this family present a panel at the LPA conference? They are NOT a well spoken bunch. especially Amber. I'm envisioning a rambling mess in real time.

  11. Oh the irony of the twins both considering themselves farmers and trying to screw their siblings out of the farm versus Jacob actually working the farm, farming the land (and more than just growing pot), and putting in actual manual labor on a daily basis. I follow him on instagram and while I don't agree with all of his political views, the guy seems to have found his calling on the farm. Unlike the shit show his brothers build, I hasI would have no worries about work he does. He seems to take actual pride in doing things right, caring about the effects his actions have on the land and those around him. Living in a van down by the river did him good!

Zach seems obsessed with recreating his childhood on the farm...how about making a fresh start with your own kids and do new and fun things with them that they will cherish as their own personal family memories.

Driving farm equipment and piling a four year old little person with vision issues in the bucket and lifting the bucket up and down with said child in it is absolutely one of the worst things I've seen on this show. Zach and Tori clearly have no clue on how to parent responsibly. Let alone their dismissive and cruel parenting of Lilah in particular.

Too bad Matt actually had ambition and a plan... Zach is trying to be the low rent dollar store version and he's lazy on  good day, so he's honestly just going to create an on going mess.

Does anyone know how large Zit's lot is? I keep hearing it referred to as a farm.

It's far from a farm, this is just what Zach's trying too convince himself of. And I wouldn't put it past them to decide to call their lot a farm to tell Jackson we have our own farm, we don't need to go to Grandpa's farm.

Good lord, their neighbors should take a photo and call child protective services!

if CPS didn't get involved after they had Jackson and Lilah walking over and thru the water of the drainage ditch, I doubt the lawnmower bucket will get their attention.

  13. Branching Out  isn't exactly bad, but the little girl is basically the same character and actress as the little girl in the horrible Ben Affleck movie where he was a single dad. If the movies weren't 20 years apart I'd say it was the same actress, they even looked the same. And if you saw either movie you'll know thats not a good thing. I did appreciate there was no break up in the first 4 minutes of the movie and really liked the BFF called the lead character on her shit a couple of times. Sarah Drew and Juan Pablo Di Pace both were good and had good chemistry. The need to write the rocker sperm donor with not only every musician and Mexican family trope out there was heavy handed though.

She says the abuse was verbal in that he called her "fat and lazy" and made fun of the sound her pants made when she walked when her thighs rubbed together.  Now mind you, I agree those statements are abusive but verbal abuse is different and much harder to verify than physical abuse.  While I might not take it with a grain of salt when someone else said it I would with her.  People who have a lot to lose don't hesitate to lie about things like that in the middle of a costly divorce to make their ex look bad, and with her propensity for drama I'm not 100% convinced.  It's too bad because I'd like to believe and support her and any person that is genuinely the victim of abuse.  At the very least I believe her that he was probably not the nicest person and she should have divorced him, but does that make me see him as the boogeyman she's made him out to be?  Unfortunately not really.

Plus we aren't hearing the other side of the story.  She may be just as guilty of verbal abuse as he is.  That doesn't justify him saying those things but it does make me wonder what she said to him that might have been just as abusive.  While I think there's no justification for physical abuse no matter who started it I think there's more of a gray area with verbal abuse.  Couples say a lot of abusive things to each other in the heat of an argument and it can be hard to see one or the other as the villain or victim.  I read that she had to pay Tom over $2.2 million so her claims of verbal abuse didn't help her avoid that.

I’d like to hear tom’s side of the story too. I’ve yet to see any statements from him, but she won’t STOP talking about it. I feel like she would start screaming from the roof tops if he even dared to make a public comment of even there’s 2 sides to every story. For as much as she went on and on about her dead ex while still married, I can see fights of her telling him how perfect and how much Eddie was her soulmate and him responding well, he wouldn’t have love your fat ass now or some such fight. Not saying it’s right, but I’m also saying I don’t believe she was all sweetness and light while he was the devil.

I honestly don’t know why I still watch - the show is mostly shit now thanks to Mariska’s enormous ego. And yet I saw many Benson lovers on social media gushing over this crap episode like it was some great work of art - apparently those are the people SVU panders to now, and to hell with fans who want better cases and some focus on characters other than Benson.

I haven't quite gotten to this point yet, but I'm getting there. I already hate watch Grey's Anatomy, and was actively hoping they would kill off Meredith when she had covid a couple seasons ago, so I can only hate watch so much! LOL!

I noped out of this episode after that extended intro.  The acting, the writing, the directing were all too painful to watch.  I did not buy Noah as a tween when he was coming off as some sheltered 6 year old.  And that dialog made it seem like Benson has left Noah in the dark about a lot stuff that he should be able to handle developmentally.

I did catch Carisi mention the upcoming trial for Maddie's abductor.  As much as I want to see him in a courtroom and see all the dangling threads from that case get resolved (who provided that picture of Maddie to the sex doll company), I don't know if I actually want to see it and how Benson will react.

How old is Noah supposed to be these days? I'm sure it's over the age of 10, so I'm not really understanding why Olivia was so surprised the kid knows how to use a computer and Google. Also, he goes to a real school and isn't homeschooled by his nanny, so I'm sure he hears things at said school about his mom and her cases. And, am I completely remembering wrong, but didn't we get an episode with Noah having an also adopted brother and him learning about his father then? Or am I making this up?

Yes. And although I've never looked into it, I'm sure there are hundreds of little people on various SM platforms who have just as many followers. They are probably much more inspirational, educated and  worth following than Tori and ZakHole.

And there’s got to be an unlimited amount of moms out there who don’t have such suspect child rearing skills.

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment.

I will give Tori credit, however, for building a viable monetized social media presence that took several years to achieve.  Now they also have a monetized podcast.

Presumably, both of them, especially Zach, have built a financial portfolio adequate to support the family for now and in the future.  That income stream plus that social media and podcast $$$ probably allowed them to leave the show as, in my estimation, when I see them on camera, it kind of reminds me of a "hostage video." 😆  They don't seem happy to be there.

They can say the left on their own all they want, but you know TLC isn’t going to put up with their we refuse to see Matt or Caryn or let the kids see them and keep them as part of the show forever. TLC probably said okay, then we don’t need you anymore. Bye!

Tori has a strong on line thing going now, but how good will it be when they aren’t in any episodes?

It did me too! I used to really like her a lot but her social media is just so toxic.

Which is ironic given her most recent interviews about her new book and her being all about love and kindness. As long as you kiss her ass and don't dare to say a slightly negative thing to her or question her perfection.
