  1. I also have stage V endo and after years and years of fertility treatments and multiple miscarriages and failures we grew our family through adoption. It was nice to hear Joey bring up an openness to adoption because my 2 year old makes it all finally make sense.

  2. I’m from Philadelphia (go Birds) and it’s fun seeing my city highlighted albeit briefly. Joey surprised me this first night. I thought he seemed sweet but dull on Charity’s season. I was concerned he didn’t have enough depth to carry a season but so far so good. Philly area guys can either be super hyper/energetic (Tyler Norris) or infused with a sort of low energy ennui - Joey being the latter. But I think that calm energy may serve him well and help put the ladies at ease. I hope he has a fun season.

  3. I have a soft spot for Blake so I hope he does well and finally finds his actual person (ugh did I just use that phrase)

Can’t stand Kylee or Brooklyn - and Rachel annoys me although as someone who is dying to get a breast reduction it’s nice seeing how well hers turned out

I would never have guessed that was “jacket guy” - he looks totally different

I liked glitter girl and I hope she does well

I also can’t help but like Brayden - he’s obnoxious and calling yourself quirky feels like you’re trying too hard. Also stealing Johnny Depp’s look is a choice. But I still find him hot 😂

I’m not seeing a Bachelor edit because of all the problems with Brayden.  And, of course, Xavier blew his audition.  I agree Dotun is probably F1,   So I think the next Bachelor is either Joey or someone from a previous season.

Yeah I don’t know if he will actually get chosen.. this all gets filmed and edited before fans weigh in and I do think they sometimes go by popularity of a contestant. I think Aaron and his tattling was not well received - but if it had been seen as heroic and chivalrous or if he was a popular choice, they have given themselves more than one option to choose from. Bringing Aaron back definitely felt tied to Xavier’s big confession so it makes me think they were just keeping as many options on the table as possible.

Speaking of Xavier - he’s given me fuck boy vibes all season and I was suspicious of him in the same way Charity had been expressing. Like he’s almost too smooth. And while it’s ok to make mistakes in your past, I found it pretty outrageous that he basically said that he couldn’t guarantee he wouldn’t cheat on her because while his heart was all there his head wasn’t? Huh? That’s an automatic see ya never and that’s BEFORE he says he needs to “see more from her” in the fantasy suites. Maybe he meant sex and maybe he didn’t but regardless the man didn’t say I’m so disappointed in myself for ever being unfaithful in my past and it’s not something I’m ever going to engage in again. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking through what would cause me to do that and I want to be a better man and human being going forward.  I’m glad Charity didn’t drag that whole situation out further and showed a lot of self respect in ending it right then and there. If Xavier thinks it’s ok to cheat on his partner any time he’s feeling unsure, I feel bad for his future girlfriends. Unless they’ve seen this episode where they were forewarned that he’s a remorseless cheater.

  5. Charity seems really sweet but I’m going to snark on 2 things that bug me.

    1. She rarely lets anyone speak uninterrupted. Could be an anxiety thing but weird for a psychotherapist.

    2. She primarily speaks in TikTok or Gen Z slang. I get that it’s a generational thing - but I’m not THAT old. I’m a Gen X borderline Millenial. It just seems like her vocabulary and conversational skills are all rooted in buzz words and shortcuts. It might make sense for a teenager but it’s unattractive on a grown woman.

  6. I felt bad for Tanner. She dragged him through 2 almost rose ceremonies only to cut him loose in the end anyway. It’s got to be tough at that point not to say look you clearly are unsure about me and I don’t think that’s a good look for introducing you to my family.

You can tell she’s attracted to Xavier and knows he has major red flags but she keeps convincing herself that her instincts are wrong.

Brayden is good for entertainment value.  Plus he is pretty cute.  He’s a nurse so he must be smart.

He’s such an obnoxious dick but he has that 90s bad boy look and attitude down and I’m a teenager of the 90s so I can’t help but find him hot.

  8. I wonder how icy the wake up was with Kaity.. or maybe they didn’t even stay together all night at all. Maybe she agreed to spend a few hours talking with him and agreed to be enthusiastic on camera.. hence her “turn-around”. But drew the line at overnight. It seems really strange that they would cut that next morning that everyone was DYING to see.

Yes! This has been driving me nuts. She “clomps” around like a horse. I knew the night in the museum something was off with the walk.

I wonder if she has low tone. My daughter has it. She’s 22 months old and literally finally started walking independently yesterday (which YAY I’m so relieved - it was totally stressing me out and killing my back). But anyway.. her physical therapist said her delay was due to low tone. She said her kids and husband have it and when her kids were in PT the therapist mentioned that her husband has low tone. She was puzzled because the therapist had never met him and he wasn’t in the room.. but the therapist heard him walking around the house. People with low tone often walk with heavy steps.. they don’t realize it but those around them may get annoyed and say “why do you walk so heavily???”  Anyway just thought I would share because it’s something I never knew until my daughter!

  10. Ok I TOTALLY get the Catholic guilt thing. The amount of anxiety when you do something “wrong” and needing to confess and get it off your chest ASAP even when it’s not a good moment or time to address it. As it clearly wasn’t here.. take the poor girl out into a snake infested river and confess to her when she can’t possibly get away.

Also the speech was unnecessary at the Rose ceremony. If he wasn’t picking Ariel he didn’t need to say that and clue her in about it in that moment. Also it’s fucked up for Gabi because he’s running around acting like having sex with her was some evil and terrible thing that he totally regrets.

ETA - also kind of fucked up that he gave Gabi her rose second when she confessed how triggering feeling second is for her.

  11. I’m behind and just got to him telling Gabi about no sex week. I love his choice to do that but the way he explains it is SO bad. Of course these women are thinking - ok he’s saying this to me because I’m not his F1 who he doesn’t want to ultimately upset. It would have been better for him to explain that he’s going about it that way with everyone because he wants to give that “gift” to his final pick - like I would say to Gabi.. if I choose you at the end, I want you to have one less thing to feel insecure or concerned about. Framing it directly to each woman that way might have allayed some fears.

  12. I thought the way they handled the Greer situation was good.. they directly addressed it and she apologized and showed she didn’t just understand that she was wrong but why. But it does make me wonder if that also played into choosing Charity. Like they would look disingenuous, pandering and performative by finally addressing controversy but then selecting another white, blonde lead like Brooklyn. I definitely would have loved an Ariel pick but I think the poster who has pointed out that there seems to be some anti-Semitism against those who support Israel could be onto something. But maybe it’s just as simple as Ariel didn’t want the gig.. assuming she isn’t Zach’s final pick.

Charity is The Bachelorette.  I wanted maybe Ariel or Gaby or none of them and straight to the airing of Senior Bachelor/Bachelorette.  Charity is a pretty girl- but she has a very basic, palatable personality and I don't like how she always tilts her head down and looks up like a puppy when she talks or is listening to people- it doesn't project a lot of confidence to me.  Also, I wonder if she'll tell her sob story about her ex's infidelity when she by default will be dating dozens of guys simultaneously to find her "person" 🤔.  Lastly, Zach's vow of celibacy during Fantasy Suites week reminds me of my 2023 healthy resolution to never eat candy again- not going to happen!

Yes exactly about the way she speaks!! That’s what I was trying to describe but you did so better. It irks me.

  14. I didn’t have a problem with Brooklyn confronting Kat.. although it is a dating show and trying to maintain a connection should be the priority over not stepping on the other girls toes imo. It was the way Brooklyn wouldn’t drop it and kept going after Kat. Like ok you said your piece now move on. Kat didn’t seem to have the emotional stability to handle the environment of the show.

  15. I’m so glad they didn’t select Brooklyn for next Bachelorette as many were speculating. I wasn’t interested in Hannah B vs. 2.0

But I’m not stoked on Charity either. She seems like a follower and something about the way she speaks and her mannerisms annoy me. Petty I know.. but she always seems like she’s slouching and speaking from under a rock. I would have preferred Ariel or Gabi.. I think Gabi would have been a bit of a hot mess which would have been entertaining and Ariel would have the men eating out of the palm of her hand.

  16. I like Zach but I have to nitpick.. I hate the way he kisses. It’s like he doesn’t tilt his head at all and they end up practically smashing noses while attempting to have their mouths connected but instead it looks like they’re trying to eat an ice cream cone while wearing a neck brace. Zach you have to tilt your head get the correct and comfortable angle to give and receive the French part of the kiss!
