Nelle's alleged thirst for revenge/hate of Carly is also being playing so lukewarmly.

That letter from her father combined with her lackluster scheming makes me wonder if Jelly are trying to give her an out for when she's finally exposed - like revealing her father (or someone else) forced her to go after Carly or that she went after Carly based on false information but wasn't that enthusiastic about it.

I used to like Rafe. In fact, when I started watching again in summer 2014 he was with Jordan, and I liked them as a couple. Then he cheated on her with Kate(?) and Jordan dumped him.  I also liked Rafe in fall 2015 when he was working to help Chad prove his innocence in the strangler murders.  My dislike for Rafe started when the writers rushed his romance with Hope and even had Bo ask Rafe to basically take his place with Hope.  And then of course the Stefano murder and cover-up soured my mind on them even more.  At least Rafe wasn't in on the "Shane was Stefano" scam.

I keep thinking that if they had just slowly let Hope and Rafe realize they were becoming more than just partners/friends, and not co-conspirators in a murder cover up, I might have liked them as a romantic couple. But with all that's happened, it's going to take some good writing to make be not cringe when I see them on screen being romantic.

I started to dislike Rafe when he had that little emotional affair with Sami's sister, but I didn't REALLY start to borderline hate him until this crap with Hope started. The two of them together are absolutely sickening.

    Nobody loved her.

    Everybody hated her.

She guessed she would go eat worms.

(No, but really, it's that no one loved her.)

No one loved her because she's annoying as fuck.

Will he though? I mean he forgave Sonny for murdering his father; he's a pretty forgiving guy!

AJ was a fat, a drunk, and had panic attacks, though.

I have nothing else to say about this episode. It was boring as hell.

You probably already forgot everything that happened.

I think CL is part of the problem. She's a good actress, but either she can't hack the pacing or the character is just not the right fit. That voice probably isn't best paired with long monologues about how she had to watch lifetime movies, oh no.

I feel like CL sometimes smirks in situations when she shouldn't be smirking, which sometimes makes it hard for me to to tell what Nelly is supposed to be feeling/thinking.

Not necessarily. He offered to be her boytoy if she shared custody of Avery and she turned him down. Poor Morgan lol.

Yeah, but that was because she didn't want to give up her possession, I mean baby. If Morgan wanted her back with no ulterior motives I'm sure she wouldn't turn him down.

Her life was the worst ever. No one can top the misery she went through. She walks with that pain every day.

I don't even understand what was supposed to have been so bad about her childhood. She grew up poor, is that it? That's not great but it's hardly the worst thing that could happen.

She showed guilt for months before she was caught.  And now she thinks that she didn't actually kill anyone, so if she thinks she didn't actually kill anyone, what does she have to be guilty about?

To me it felt like she more agonized over possibly going to prison and being away from her family than she was over murdering someone. And her thinking Stefano is still alive doesn't change the fact that she shot him point blank while he sat in a chair with the intent to murder him.

But that didn't stop Ava from having a relationship with him and it certainly didn't stop her from screwing him while he was dating her daughter.

Morgan was super awful and terrible...but if he told Ava he wanted her back she would say yes with no hesitation.

Does Nelly ever stop feeling sorry for herself?

I'm confused as to why Julian can't just have OJ killed or why she doesn't thing he would come after her if she does something to Sam.

The OJ/Sam scenes were stupid. First, Sam was already a little suspicious of OJ after first meeting her so I don't think she would accept a ride from her. Second, were there no public places that Sam could ask to be let out at? Third, Sam would've been better off staying in the car and playing it cool. Send a text to Jason while telling OJ she's pulling up a pic of Danny to show her.

  7. Having the Eric/Marlena scenes in the same episodes as the Hope/Rafe/Judge Fitzpatrick scenes really highlights how vulgar the murderer and her accomplice are. Eric accidentally killed someone, served his time in prison without complaining- even if it was short -, but still shows remorse and deep pain over what he's done. Meanwhile, Hope intentionally kills a man, tries to cover it up, whines about going to prison when caught, has half of Salem trying to get her released, (inadvertently) escapes from prison, hides out, blackmails Andre into not doing anything to jeopardize her freedom, is cleared of all charges and shows absolutely no guilt over what she's done.

Michael and Nelle could be sweet, but CD always seems so uncomfortable in any scenes approaching romantic in nature. And since we still don't know what Nelle is planning or why, there's no suspense to their scenes together, so those two are a giant jar of mayonnaise for me. Generic mayonnaise.

If Jelly wanted to put wet drip with Michael they probably shouldn't have had her drug his father, get him naked, and manipulate him into thinking he cheated on Michael's mother. I'm thinking he'll have an issue with that.

Also, the jar of mayo comparison is already being used for Dillon/Kiki. Michael/Nelly deserve their own comparison. How about...Michael/Nelly are more stale than two month old moldy bread

  9. What was the point of having Sonny held hostage for three episodes, most of which was offscreen? Speaking of Sonny, this big bad Kiriakis thing they're trying to do with him is still laughable.

Today felt like the writers didn't know how to precede with the Orwell story and/or were lazy so they just decided to resolve everything in one episode.

Why did Drew make a backup of the Orwell just to destory it?

When Vic finds out what's happened to Sonny, he's gonna explode!!

Deimos had Bo kidnapped and tortured, drugged Maggie which caused her to fall down the stairs and become paralyzed, kidnapped and tortured Phillip, and now has Ari's mother being held hostage. Victor didn't do anything then and he won't do anything now.

It was just a lazy way to create conflict between Will and Sami and also piggyback on Will's sexuality being an issue with Sami.

Sami only had trouble dealing with Will's sexuality for like three episodes so I don't even know what the point was. Also, it rang false to me that someone like Sami would have even five minutes of hesitation over accepting Will's sexuality.

    she's a great multi-tasker! That's why she's Carly's assistant!

She must be doing something right if she can manage to get her work done while also spending the majority of her time whining, looking at her memory box of crap, and staring at the recording.

The thing that was really annoying about Ciara's SORASing was that she was a kid playing monopoly with Aidan and Chase the week before Hope's wedding and then she's a teenager at the wedding.  Logically speaking that would mean that Hope and Aidan were together for like 10 years.  But, I detest SORASing in general.  This particular one was just really really really ill-timed.

And if Hope and Aiden were together for 10 years or so she should've been much more conflicted about her feelings for him after he/the doppelganger tried to kill her on their wedding night, she should've been devastated over his "death", she shouldn't have been so quick to hop back into Bo's bed, and she should've considered Chase one of her kids, making it difficult for her to completely turn on him after he raped Ciara.

  15. The "grief sex" was some absolute bullshit. I can't imagine two parents finding out their child is dead and immediately deciding to have sex, or even being able to function enough to have sex.

As someone who has hated EJ since he raped Sami, I was glad when Nicole took him off of Sami's hands, and was a fan of Safe (this was back before Rafe became a complete piece of shit).

  16. Nicole tried to have Victor murdered and almost killed Chloe after she intentionally infected her face with bacteria. Those are just two of the many, MANY horrible things she's done. She can have a motherfucking seat, especially since Maggie doesn't even seem to hate Eric.

  17. I wish the actors who aren't RoHo would just say "no comment" or something similar whenever the topic of Franco comes up, because what are they supposed to say? I'm sure they realize it's ridiculous that he's on the show, but I doubt there's anything they can say that doesn't a) crap on Jelly/Frank/the writing; or b) basically amount to them telling the audience to suck it up and deal. It's not their responsibility to justify this character bein on the show.

Also, isn't this event supposed to be about the show? What does BC's relationship status have to do with anything? Why are people asking other actors about Kelly and Billy's relationship, especially when they aren't even there to comment themselves?
