Didn't she buy him, fair and square?

She bought him in good faith, believing Jameson had the right to sell him, but he did not. The horse belonged to Priscilla. The papers to a racehorse have to be transferred the same way as the registration to a car, and the papers were in Priscilla’s name. Roger would have forged them to get the money.

  2. This is going to be an unpopular opinion:

i can do without Flower. I don’t think she adds much and eight ghosts is a lot of ghosts. Cuts down on the time allowed for the others and I wouldn’t mind at all if she got sucked off.

LOL. I'm sorry, I'm one woman who doesn't get the shoe thing. I have eight pairs of shoes, two which I never wear, one pair that doesn't fit, two for wearing only in the yard. This leaves the two pair of black Reebox I wear during the week and my snow boots.

And God, I hate buying shoes. That's like Living Hell.

I'm like Bobby. Books. I want books. (Okay. And pens and stickers for my journal.)

I’m not a shoe fetishist either. I just think that if Eames risked ordering them from her work account, they had to be truly fabulous.

No, no, no. I don't see Alex doing that. I was a Fed for 32 years and will assume state/city governments have the same rules--NO LOOKING AT WORK E-MAILS ON PERSONAL ACCOUNTS. That will get you in bad, bad trouble; it's a security risk and at the least you'll get a disciplinary letter in your permanent file. Once my work e-mail wasn't working and I needed to get a contract proposal in before the end of the day, and I had to go to my branch chief to get permission to receive the proposal via my personal e-mail so it would get in by the deadline (since the deadline was irrevocable).

I just got a big kick out of it, since Alex is such a straight arrow.

    Noted.
still need to see the shoes.

I just noticed something funny in "Playing Dead," when Alex gets the message about the impounded vehicle. Freeze frame on her e-mail box--naughty girl, she ordered shoes from her work account! 😉 Love it.

Or maybe that’s her personal account and she looks up police reports on it! She could get in even worse trouble for that!

Either way, we deserve to see the shoes.

And she did lie without issue when Ross asked what happened when the perp in "Depths" was pushed into the water by Bobby as Alex told Ross the perp "slipped and fell". I think she could have kept the secret, even if she seethed underneath at the brass, if just for Bobby's sake.

I’ve watched that scene so many times and it always has seemed to me that Harper was trying to grab the radio away from Goren to tell them not to raise the ship, and he slips. Goren could have caught him but just let him go.
Everybody else says he pushed him, so I guess he did.

I wonder if the daughter went with a psych defense because of how screwed up she was due to her nutbag parents. I do think Carver might’ve accepted a manslaughter plea due to the circumstances surrounding the case.

She would have had to have brought the acid with her, so it was premeditated. Maybe second degree instead of first? No idea about that. Maybe she hadn’t meant to kill him, but she was prepared with the weapon.

I like Suite Sorrow, that was one of the most twisted episodes in the franchise, with the dad working with his lover to try to gain control of the hotel and having the lover become the daughters fiancé, that was one of the most shocking twists on CI when they revealed the dad was the lover of the daughters fiancé. Like I say, twisted episode.

I liked the crossover appearance of the defense attorney Peter Behrens, he appeared in several Mothership episodes.

I also liked ME Rodgers line about Botox leaving a good looking corpse.

I like this episode too, but the Botox plot always irks me. Julie goes to the Botox guy with a terrible migraine and asks for Botox injections. Botox is used to prevent migraine, not to treat. It won’t help you at all if you’re in pain. It is not an analgesic. Trussssst me. 😡
