Stacey made it pretty clear that she plans on staying home and spending Michael's money.  "I need a credit card". Whoa, slow your roll, gold digger. Michael, welcome to the real Stacey. Wasn't she an attorney or something? What happened to her big career? This is never going to work for Michael. Ever.

She just graduated with her law degree and in Australia it's an LLB, not a JD. It a bachelor's not a graduate degree. She hasn't practiced to my understanding.

Which makes me wonder, where did the money come from for the 20k of shoes and bags and clothes? How was she earning money?

As others have pointed out: why would the game programmers create sexual options in the game?

Even today, players create mods for games to add costumes, characteristics, and even bits of storyline. It doesn't seem far-fetched to me at all that players that are also programmers created a mod to allow you to have sex with a character.

As a female gamer who has played with many male gamers I can confirm that straight males do indeed play female characters in all sorts of video games.

Yeah, my husband plays as female characters sometimes because they are given skills/traits within a game that the male players don't have.

Well I must be the only person on this planet that kind of liked the show! I liked the interaction between Christina and her friend, it was nice seeing Izzy again, the finished kitchen looked good, as did the "gifted" outdoor space.

There are plenty of HGTV people who I loathe and I watch very little on this channel nowadays, but Christina doesn't bother me at all.

@broderbits I didn't hate it! Like some others, I'm hoping for more time spent on construction and less time with Ant knocking on random people's doors, but I will definitely watch a few more episodes. Also, like someone else mentioned, she's less annoying when she's not butting heads with Tarek constantly.

  4. Also from SA, and I hadn't paid much attention to the lead up from this show. I've watched the first 15 minutes and have decided to check out. This is such a narrow view of SA, featuring no one actually from here. Unlike @KnotsLanding, my reservations are making me check out.

I might come by this forum to see if things get interesting though!

No; it's "people"! I love this show!

Haha,  Christie actually said a look tonight (Red Carpet Challenge) was "uptown."

I thought the "Nefertiti" model was stunning and should have won.

I think Samson was robbed. From a distance Lucy's model looked like she had two bruises over her eyes.

Question: why does everyone except Sire feel the need to rap super fast?? It makes it hard to understand the vocals, and the kids don't have enough stamina or voice control to pull it off. I wish JD or one of the other producers would tell these kids that.

That is why I watch everything with closed captioning on. I'd never know what most of their bars are about otherwise!

It was his appearance on Unfiltered that definitely pinged for me, too.  When asked about his haircut and he said he "butched it up a little bit" I thought...hmmm.  Of the many people I've met along the way - I've never heard a straight guy use "butch" in reference to himself.  It could mean nothing, but it stood out to me.

I thought he said that he "switched it up a bit".

Undeleting from the TiVo to listen again...

And big ups to Bishop coming in with the mace. It reminded me a bit of the Indiana Jones scene where he shoots the guy with the machete. I LOL'd.

Mr. Wimey and I were annoyed by the fisticuffs which we knew were feeding the ego of Hawke. When Bishop said HEY and shot him with the mace, we both laughed and I started clapping so hard I hurt my hands!

  9. This season felt so far away from Poussey's death. I was glad when they mentioned her murder.

Barb and Carol took over this show that I used like--all about a story that they stole from someone else! SMH!

I haven't watched it yet, but wanted to know who won. I'm glad Krys didn't, only because this frees her up to do what she wants and it's clear that she's been super successful post show. Kyla needs some actual modeling tips, so her winning will actually help her more than Krys. She does have the body of a model, but it's clear that this show didn't really help her actually be a model. Hopefully with her signed to an agency, Kyla will be able to get proper tips on what she should do.

I do find it funny that in a season that was all about inclusion and had both the short and tall, plus size and skinny, young and old, the winner ended up being a young skinny tall woman.

And she was not best model by far! She seems like a nice enough person (unlike Jeana), but she seemed to benefit from the bias towards tall, thin, young models that this season was supposed to subvert.

Oh well. At least it wasn't Jeana.

Did Jackie really order Ryan not to go out?

I want to punch that fucker square in the face.

Yeah, the cameras weren't there for that conversation, so we don't know if Jackie ordered him. Of course, he also omits the fact that she was under the weather and wanted him to stay with her for that reason. That makes me think that Jackie didn't order him but maybe tried to guilt him into staying home. And he has decided this was her trying to CONTROL him.

My thoughts exactly. The first movie seemed to be relatively set in our world. The second movie could’ve possibly had an energy crisis but since we saw hardly anything of the outside world and when we did it was very remote and at night, there was no way to know what their world might’ve been like before the crisis. I agree that this movie appears to be what started the events shown in the previous movies.

I enjoyed the first installment. Didn’t like the second one, but enjoyed this one.

I’m glad Ava went back to try and save her world because in truth who knows if her family was still alive in the alternate universe since that Earth had been in a world war for 14-15 years. Unfortunately she returned to a real sh*t storm on her earth.

The monster at the end of this movie looked bigger than the one shown in the original Cloverfield. I wonder if this one was an  “adult.” I think the producers of the original said that perhaps the one in it was a baby.

    Anyway, good movie.

Actually, I think the other earth had been at war for 14 months, not years.

The first Cloverfield movie, with its lack of any information about the aliens coupled with cinematography that made me ill, kept me from exploring 10 Cloverfield Lane. But I liked The Cloverfield Paradox enough that I've added the second one to my watchlist on Amazon.

  13. If I didn't see the judges reactions to the food, I still would have known Common Place was on the bottom with all of Joe's assertions that both teams were doing great!

    Also? Good riddance Claudette.

Did anyone watch LCK? Please tell me she lost again.
