I get mine colored in Dallas. Sometimes I get a trim. The cost with tip is between 180$-260$.

The teenage girls I've seen around here in TX and Florida seem to love strappy flat metallic or brown sandals, high rise and super short thin cotton or linen shorts with designs. They generally wear a crop top or flowy tank and lots of necklaces. Sometimes they wear Keds or Vans tennis shoes instead. The hair is long and wavy or straight. They seem to be all sizes. It's not my style and I don't like half seeing a teen's butt cheek. I'm all for dressing how you want and being body confident. It's the age thing that bothers me, especially when I quickly notice a middle aged man staring. It's bothersome and makes my face hot.

Betweenyouandme, I would get annoyed by that too. Other than that, how is your pregnancy going? I loved being pregnant. I hope everything is going well for you.
Since this is Pet Peeves, I hate when tv shows portray pregnant women as either raging bitches or emotional wrecks. I've never known pregnant women to act like the ones on TV act.
Backformore, you have officially freaked me out. Being up in the boonies we get spiders the likes of which I've never seen in my life. I call them Volkswagens. After reading what happened to you I'm going to be feeling creepy crawlers all night long.
I agree for my experience. I've felt fatigued lately but so far not over the top emotional or having cravings. I've felt overwhelmed a few times, but I've been by myself and just waited until the wave of worry passed. Mostly, I've been fine. My weight settled down where I want it, and my mood has been good overall. The baby is moving a lot now. I enjoy him bumbling all around in there. Trying to name him though. It's hard!
There's a spider loose in my car. I saw it last night and been very itchy whenever I think about it. I imagine him coming down on my head and face while I'm driving. Not cool. Little spider, please go back to a wooded area.

I don't. My family was happy I got a divorce given the circumstances. They'd be worried and unsupportive though if I just wanted a divorce for reasons they found not a big deal, I think, especially since I can't really take care of myself well. But, they'd step in to help again. So, in the end, they'd get over it. And shame wouldn't really be the issue. My parents are focused on money and stability.

Totally going off the conversation here.
I think I've been easy to get along with during my pregnancy, but I've found one thing I can't stand when people say. They ask how far along I am. I say it, then they respond, "yeah, that looks about right."
It doesn't bother me if they say I look bigger or smaller than they'd have thought. That I don't care about. I care when they act like there's a possibility I could be too dumb or ignorant to know how far along I am. "That's about right"......?!?! No. It is right. Hush up.

Last night I kept dreaming I was awake in my bed. My baby was kicking and moving against my skin so hard, he was pushing out an extreme amount. I could see his individual fingerprints and full hand. It was scary. There's a picture like this that is common to see on the Internet. Maybe the dream stemmed from seeing this fake picture.

My take would also be even if he's very much into you, this could be a habit of his. Imagine having a long-term partner who's that flakey. Either he's not that interested or flakey. If it's really some rare sequence of events, he should make a big gesture to prove it, imo.
Not trying to be harsh. That's just what I'd think if I were in your shoes.

Yes, exactly. I'm pregnant and have found a seemingly great guy. It's early on, but there are people out there with all kinds of wants and criteria. All I need is one person who understands and likes me.

I met the man I'm dating now on Match. So far, so good. He flat out said last night he doesn't like cheap people. I don't either. I'm all for living in your means but that would mean going to restaurants one can afford- tip included!!
I like Match. Yes, I've met people by email and in person who ended up being weird, imo. But, you also get a chance to write out things about yourself one would be nervous saying to someone you just met in a grocery store, for example, but are still important.
It's just so important imo to put it all out there at least in a vague, but telling, way. My tip would be to try meeting people outside the norm just to see but never forget your top non-negotiables. Remember, you *can* fall in love with anyone.
Yep, I mean...I've only known the man I'm seeing about 6 wks, but he's invited me to Puerto Vallarta at the end of this month/beginning of July. Unless something weird happens, I think I'm going to go. He meets every important criteria I have and makes me very comfortable. I met a couple other men last year who were "fine." But, I don't want fine.

I like dipping pizza crusts in ranch. I used to like blue cheese but recently tried ranch instead. Crust is my favorite part of pizza usually.

A friend of mine thinks the rise of Tinder and Grindr etc are helping get the less serious people off Match.
I have no experience with any site but Match.
People are people. Some feel entitled and have a chip on their shoulder.

She might think you are going to hold her past mistakes or wrongdoings against her for anything else that goes wrong. It might even be subconscious that she thinks that.
I do that when I have another bout of bad news to tell my family. My stream of consciousness goes...."oh, just let me say what I have to say and please don't react negatively and blame me! I know it's my or partly my fault, and I don't want to see the disappointment or hear the endless questions and advice."
I'm just going by that, but of course she may very well want to talk about it and get advice. Hard to say until you feel her out.
At any rate, I hope things go better next school year and your relationship stays on track.

I'd ask her in person or on the phone at least how she and her son feel about it. If he's not upset, and she's not surprised or upset, I wouldn't say much more.

My current pet peeve is when people park their cars with their bumpers stuck out too far in parking garage spaces. Pull all the way up! It can be a very tight squeeze driving past otherwise.
