Finally found an official Netflix start. Netflix says on their site that it begins on September 29! (This is in the US). I’m still waiting to read an article where we can meet the contestants! Hopefully that will come out this week. 🎂 🥧 🥐 🧁

Your comment made me think of the movie Goonies, when the souvenir David statue fell on the ground and his chunky bits fell off. LOL.

I can’t believe how patient Sharik’s father was with her horrendous attitude after that Roadblock. I would give anything to be able to be on that Race and she wanted to quit because her arms were tired? Ugh. Between her and Dom…I didn’t know who I wanted to go home more. But Dom was my first choice because she’s been so annoying from the get go.
My son in law is from Jordan, so I’ll be interested to see the next leg.
I was hoping that Sharik would quit. She is such a pill. And then, when she rolled her eyes at Phil and said yes, she would continue. Gah. Go away.

Oh, thank you. Another thing I would need to buy though! Many years ago, I saw some eps on YouTube, but they were taken down before I can get through everything. I think there also might have been some stuff on Dailymotion.

Well, that was…a show. I must say that this was the most disappointing Bread Week in the 11 seasons that I’ve watched (still praying that Netflix gets 1 and 2 someday).
Surely they can’t be running out of breads to make? Pardon the pun but bread-making was totally on the back burner in this episode.
I will admit that some of the flavors intrigued me, but that Showstopper idea was more about the fillings than the bread.

It’s an odd look, to be sure. I don’t think that 2 those actors have any chemistry either, leading me to agree with you. It’s nice to see Becki again: I liked her in Ugly Betty.

Snatch Game is so fun and this was so disappointing. What a let down. It’s so weird because they all knew this is coming and almost all bombed. It was so not funny. I’m worried for Lady Camden. She and Bosco are my favorites.

It broke my heart to hear that Holt and Kevin separated. Then the show stomped all over the oozy bloody remains when Ray told Amy that he and she are only coworkers, not friends. 😭

So I’m not the only one who made that comparison to Rashida. When I first started watching the UK version that is the first thing I thought of! I’m enjoying the UK version a lot more. I think the acting and writing is a lot better. this US version does not make me want to rewatch the episodes like the UK version does. Oh well!

So I just watched both seasons and since I can’t bear suspense, I wiki’d to find out the winners.
Really from the first, I despised Chris and his punchable face, misplaced entitlement, and how he expressed at least 5 times in the episodes that he was going to win the whole shebang.
Now granted, he knows a thing or two, but was so insufferably arrogant that I was relieved he didn’t get top 3. He also came across to me as feeling like this competition was beneath him. He was so ungrateful and dour it was no fun for me to watch or root for him in any other way than to wish for his speedy elimination, which was waaay overdue. Oy vey, he touched a nerve! Ha.
Eliot and Cat had great energy and were a joy to watch. I preferred her stuff over his, but I’m fine with him winning. Both were fun, accomplished, and humble, with good attitude.
I really liked the judge Katherine and her energy, Nick was useless, and I was bummed to see Deborah and her stoopid fringe again.

I'm not sure I understood what Christopher was upset about. Was it that he was afraid of the teacher replacing his mom or that his mom would be forgotten?
The chanting by the fire crew of “jump jump jump” portion of that storyline was hilarious.

Poor Mare. I enjoyed Kate Winslet and Jean Smart a lot.
So Lori does not get any jail time for obstruction or some other offense ? Are her husband and brother-in-law in jail? It’s frustrating to me that these issues weren’t answered.
I hope the turtle is OK.

This season. Ugh.
Too much KM in this episode, as usual. I think the producers keep this garbage in to assure viewers stay pissed off and, hence, complain online to have the show mentioned.
It’s probably her schtick and style, the whole urban queen thing, but I’d love to see Symone in something super polished and elegant, a la Jaida Essence Hall.
I totally thought it was going to be a double shantay. They both killed it and I was really entertained.
S14.E01: Cake Week
in The Great British Bake Off
Ah, bliss ! Wonderful to have new shows to watch. The previous week I went back and watched all the episodes that are on Netflix, including most of the Kids ones. I’m peeved it only seasons 5 thru this present are there though. Netflix needs to figure something out with Love Productions.
I 💕 them all so far and was very sad to see Amos go, and how upset he was. 😞 The brunette gal didn’t get as much time as everybody else, it seemed to me.
All the cakes were very interesting to me, and I would’ve liked to have tasted many of them. I love the way Dan decorated the outside of his rhubarb cake. The highland cow, the robin, and the beaver were so cute.
On Twitter, I muted GBBO so I don’t get spoiled, like I have in the past.
