Crystal was not asked back by the Bravo producers. They said she offered all she had to offer to the show. So, the reason is her lack of story line. Her feud with AnneMarie didn't help.

I'm so thankful for small favors. I can't stand this woman. Always sitting in the corner, measuring everyone's words, ready to be triggered and anxious.

Thing is, it may sound completely out of the ordinary because lets be honest it is. It really doesn't matter if I still live by the "Talk Shit, Get Hit" mantra cause most people ain't coming across with this trifling ass behavior at this scale on the regular. We aren't encountering these grossly inappropriate and outrageous violations of personal space in the average day.  So for those swearing up and done that there are a lot of us making bail on the regular, sorry to bust that bubble. LOL But I will say that it is pretty humorous how often this sentiment creeps up.

Some of us express our boundaries and what would be an absolute not in any of these situations. Some of us are also much more honest about it and not trying to present some moral high ground for no reason.

Most people will not accept someone in their personal space that its advancing or constantly crossing physical lines while having a confrontation. There will be some form of boundary restricting body language which could be in the form of a raised hand in front that can make contact. That's all it takes for a confrontation to turn physical. After that then we're off to the races.

Most of these altercations don't just start with an uppercut to the jaw so simplifying it to some random barbaric act on one persons part is just very naive and purposefully obtuse. It's usually a build up of inappropriate behavior all around that includes unacceptable body language and invading personal space with the potential of harm for both parties. My position is that once you involve yourself in a combative confrontation and exhibit aggression and intention to become physical then you are not more innocent than which ever party makes first contact.

    Point. Blank. Period.

Or they could simply walk away. If they dislike a person so much that them standing nearby during a confrontation might cause a violent outburst, walking away would definitely be for the best. The attacker could lose a lot more than she bargained for if she pops the wrong one.

My opinion on hitting and violence

Here is the thing with words thrown at you ......go to a lawyer push for Slander for defamation etc etc  ... you dont hit .. hitting is illegal.... Violence will  get you thrown in jail ... you are a whole ass adult if you cant handle words you need to go see someone ...being mouthy doesn't mean you deserve to be hit ... this isnt 4th grade .. you hit me and im suing your ass for the last thing you got ..

I always wonder about full-grown adults still living by "Talk Shit, Get Hit." That might work when you're fifteen and have very little to lose, but that life ain't as cute at 40. Any chick that old who would rather lead with a punch versus a nasty comment should be arrested. After the arrest, she should be sued.

Unfortunately too many people have grown up fighting, so losing their dignity, their weave, and their press-on nails won't mean a thing. That means you'll have to go after her career, her home (if she owns one, since these types usually have very little to lose), and anything else she holds dear. Only then will she think twice before throwing hands.

People laugh about black women Karen-ing in situations where they are attacked, but I'm too old now and definitely with the shits. And yep, my mouth is slick. Attack me and I'll have your ass arrested. I'll hire an investigator to hunt down every last asset you have. You'll be wondering if pulling my hair was worth it in the long run.

  4. Watching for the first time in months to decide if this show will go back into my rotation. Except ... I tuned in about a half hour into the show, so I can only recap the last twenty-five minutes:

    - Gee, but I'd forgotten that HD is not RHOP's friend! The caked-on make-up was REALLY caking tonight. That's what I noticed the most as Ashley attempted to defend Sesame Street's actions. I'm gon leave the wigs alone. If I don't, I'll wind up typing a treatise on the various shades of blonde, as well as the versions of Indian remy, Brazilian, and synthetic strands the gals are rockin'.

    - The fashions were not fashioning. I'd really thought that these low-hanging-titty dresses would be out of style by now. Most 25 year old's can't carry them off well, IMO. More mature women -- even those with amazing bodies -- don't do much better. Just because you can wear something doesn't mean you should.

[Rant] Why do so few women today know their correct bra size? I'm flabbergasted whenever I see women who make good money walking around in ill-fitting undergarments. A tape measure costs less than two dollars! Watch a Youtube video and get the girls sitting right! [/End Rant]

    - Green is Gizelle's color! Honorable mention to Mia who looked great in white. The colors work great with their skin tones. I still, however, side-eye the fashions/silhouettes.

    - Mia will hold on to her flute with the storyline about her upcoming divorce. She says she and Gordon may have stayed together had she not admitted that she married him for his money. So what, Gordon! You married a woman nearly young enough to be your granddaughter for what -- her deep intellect, love of life, and philanthropic endeavors? Or was it coz you like how that booty bounce?

  5. - I don't understand why Garcelle and Dorit's awkward meeting was necessary. These two don't like each other. I've known it from Garcelle's first season. If I know it, they know it. They will never see eye to eye.

I hope they retreat to their corners and keep it cute from now on. No need for this show to go the way of New York (which I'd stopped watching due to Dorinda's drunken belligerence rather than Ramona's repeated, off-putting tone-deafness.)

    - I like Denise, but she's giving major mental health vibes this season. MAJOR. Erika reacted as I knew she would. As I've said in the RHOP threads about Candiace: You can't come for someone and than get upset about how they respond. If you're dealing with a ho-wife armed with a quick and deadly tongue, best think long and hard about poking at that chick if you can't handle the barrage.

    - Kyle should allow Kathy to cut her off this time and never attempt to rebuild. Narcs and controllers will play push-pull if you let 'em. This would be the last time I allowed Little Kathy to push me.

    - I'm suspicious of Sutton's date. Don't know why. I wonder if we'll see more of him.

Robyn is pathetic by accepting without question Juan's deleting of messages, and texts, even contact names from his phone immediately. Somebody mentioned that she seems to be afraid of Juan. I think she is afraid of Juan leaving her after they got remarried. She is (or was when this was filmed) also currently the only provider of the household, and this must be disconcerting.

I think another thing many viewers are missing is this: Not all marriages have the same rules. Will and Jada Smith's marriage is a recent example of people deviating from traditional marital rules, actions, and expectations. Many spouses are willing to look the other way as long as their main needs/requirements are being fulfilled.

Maybe Robyn isn't as pressed as viewers are because -- like Ashley and Mia -- her marriage contract may be more lenient in matters concerning faithfulness and fidelity. If we're sitting up here expecting Juan to be faithful to Robyn, and she has no expectations of the same, that would be a damn trip. Therefore, I've decided that if Robyn's simple ass likes it, then I LOVE it.

I'll never forget Robyn during that cast trip to Bermuda (when she and Juan were still supposedly living as roommates). Robyn turned quite a few heads. Meanwhile, she sat there looking like a bump on a log. I knew then that she would probably never truly be on the market again,. Her heart is set on Juan.

  7. - I enjoyed Gizelle's delusions during her lunch with Robyn. Unless that young server wants to be in entertainment, she needn't worry about his age. He was only worried about his tip.

    - Mia may be dumb, but she's smart enough to see Wendy's desperate ass coming from a mile down the road. Wendy may have to take a few showers with Mia to get that friendship off the ground.

    - Nneka came in hot when she called Wendy a bitch. Short fuse. I wish she'd been smart enough to see what Ashley was doing and turn it around, call Wendy, and forge an alliance. Unfortunately, Nneka was thirsty; now she has a flute.

    - I hate that Wendy and Nneka got their husbands out here beefing now.

    - I loved Production adding all the ladies opinions about Juan's predilections as the Dixons descended on that pickle ball game like a Batman villain looking to destroy Gotham. Juan has said Robyn's catchphrase so much this year (I DON'T CARE!), that I think he should hold Robyn's flute. Came for Karen's baked beans pan like:

  8. I love how "southern" Erika sounds during her mother's visit. She's allowing her natural accent to come through, and it's a trip.

Not surprised that Crystal's scenes were about her brother. Her life is as dry as a bone. Nothing to see there. Her talking head regarding Garcelle's son and Erika was weird. Why was she so proud of Jax? So damned nosy. Always policing others because she has nothing going on herself.

I wish the producers would beg Jennifer Tilly to take Crystal's diamond.

Sutton seems boozier and boozier with each passing episode. It was especially noticeable during her talking heads. Allegedly.

Kyle's new hair color washes her out. Maintaining dark hair when you're greying is probably hard work, but not everyone can pull off blonde.

I'm happy that Garcelle is championing this subject matter. I'm watching a show called Found, and it has a similar concept.

Dorit needs to follow Teddi out the door. Why is she even there? I wish Garcelle would stop engaging her because it's obvious that Dorit doesn't like Garcelle. I find her to be condescending and sarcastic during their interactions. It's funny that a woman whose entire personality is based on designer labels thinks she's so important.

    I loved seeing Denise!

  9. Nothing particularly memorable happened during this episode, IMO, so I'm gonna post about the various thoughts I had while I watched:

    - Auntie Kern looks good. I don't know what she's doing, but she needs to keep it up. The only thing I didn't like was how closely her makeup matched her yellow dress during Wendy's event. What's going on with Potomac's cosmetics this year?

    - Robyn looked gorgeous in that pink dress. Luminous. That's a great color for her.

    - Gizelle's pink outfit had the opposite effect, IMO. I prefer Giz in blue. She pops in navys and royal colors. I'd like to see her strut around in some deep purple. She would eat everybody up!

    - Ashley is working them titties out. I wonder if we'll ever see someone massage 'em. Ashley ain't the smartest chick in the world, but she does know how to do reality and keep interest. She knows anyone who's willing to film with her is for the streets -- and for a check. She'll probably keep any real relationships off-screen.

    - Wendy and Mia need to move on. During the end of last season, Wendy and Mia were flashing coochie at each other, correct? Mia even hinted that she wouldn't mind dining on Wendy's dish. I take it that the kitchen is now closed?

    - Grace Bryant is lovely. She seems fun and frisky.

    - Karen and Robyn's agreement to not discuss rumors works for me. Karen doesn't want anyone talking about the younger, blue-eyed men she's allegedly screwing in bathrooms. Robyn doesn't want anyone talking about Juan's inability to even pretend to be in a real marriage. They both win.

    - I'll never understand why Candiace entertains Ashley. She still wants to be her friend. Ashley will always walk through the door Candiace opens, kick Candiace in the teeth, and be upset when Candiace's machine gun of a mouth mows her down.

    - Uncle Lump looks nice. He may be the one reason Ashley is only half a sociopath. If Mia had had an Uncle Lump in her life, she'd be a very different hoe today.

The funny thing is, when the show first started, I liked Ashley, not Candiace.

I thought Ashley was a hustler who was making the best of a bad situation.

Candiace seemed like a spoiled entitled brat.

Now, Ashley just seems desperate and Candiace has turned out to be an okay person, as far as I know.

I'm starting to see a little bit of both -- Mrs. Darby's desperation and Candiace's spoiled messiness. Ashley's Candiace may regret her shady implication that she no longer needs Drew.

As an aside, despite my joking above, y'all know I'm not pro-violence (though I came pretty close to wanting someone to be jumped on Basketball Wives this week -- if you watch, then you know who!) so when I mentioned Miss Dorothy, it was more about seeing Candiace a little more humble, the way she has been in her mother's presence.

But you know what? Now that she's supporting herself, I wouldn't be surprised to see a big change in that dynamic, as well. Candiace is probably a lot less shook now that she can afford to pay her own way.

There is not one redeeming quality about Ericka.  Why is she allowed back season after season?  She offers nothing interesting.

This is exactly the way I feel about Crystal. Sometimes I have trouble remembering she's there, and when I do remember, it's usually because she's policing the others in a very millennial manner. It's telling that, despite the festivities being about her birthday, even the production/editing forgot all about her.

  12. Hello? Anybody here?

I just needed to talk about Colonoscopy for a moment. What's her fucking issue? She's got some of the worst energy I've seen on this franchise and I've lived through Brandi TWICE!

Seriously, the only person she hasn't pissed off yet is Evelyn, and it looks like she'll get on that next week. When you have Evelyn trying to play peacemaker ... chile, things ain't going well for you.

I wonder if Candiace's label failed to renew her contract. That's the usual reason for no longer being with a label, at least in the early stages of a singing career. She was thrilled when they initially picked her up, and now she's disdainful.

She better keep earning that Bravo money. And show some thanks for anyone who teamed up with her mediocre ass.

Amen. I've wondered too if maybe she was let go and doesn't want to say so. Her disdain for Drew is something else, and is a really bad look. I've never had a problem with Candiace's mouth the way others do (if you come for somebody, you don't get to decide how they respond) but I don't like seeing her act so high and mighty. She really thinks she's arrived.

Maybe it's time for a visit from Miss Dorothy to bring Lil Bit back down to earth.

The Grande Dame thinks that talking about her having sex with other guys is more insulting to her husband than her having said sex?

Y'all notice how Auntie Kern always sidesteps infidelity accusations? Since the howife that poured the tea is so suspect, I did not sip.*

Remember when Karen was accused of going with someone they called "Blue Eyes"?** Either she ain't cheating and these women are just hustling for a storyline, or she's stopping for some hot toddie during her shopping trips.

    * Please note: I don't believe anything Mia says. I treat everything she says the way I do Phaedra Parks' assertions and declarations -- like it's a creative fantasy.)

** Back in the day I would not have doubted Gizelle's story about Blue Eyes, but that mess she tried with Candiace's husband has made me reevaluate her relationship with honesty.

  15. Looking forward to learning more about Nneka.

I loved that Juan ain't even pretending anymore. When he first stepped into the room and Robyn asked about his plans, Juan was all, "I'm going to run some errands." Run all up and through someone who isn't your wife, you mean. Even Robyn smirked.

Ashley has had more work done than just new breasts. Her face is different somehow. She's also lightened her makeup and is wearing more blush than she has in the past. Putting those goods on display as she quests for her next sponsor!

When Sheila was like, "Why you always having parties when I have to work?" Ashley said nothing, but you know she was thinking

I'm more of a Candiace fan. But I do like Robyn. Girl get some confidence, you are beautiful. She's still young now, Gizelle on the other hand. Juan must still want to sleep with Coach Bree,if he's calling her beautiful twice in one scene. Staying together is only hurting the kids in the long run. Ashley is better than me. I wouldn't hire no young nanny. Put the kids in day care. I felt bad for Charisse.

Do you mean due to maturity? Or because having a young woman around would be problematic? Chile, I'd bet serious, life-changing money that Maria Shriver thought her middle-aged maid wouldn't even cross her movie star husband's mind as a sexual prospect. Much less cross his bed.

If Michael was still around, Ashley knows he ain't checking for Daisy like that.
