Tyler Christopher, known as the actor to originate the role of Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital, is gone. Like Matthew Perry, he long struggled with addiction. So eerie to lose them back to back.

May he rest in peace. At least his struggle is over. 😢

Nooo! Only 10 years older than me!I’m so sorry his life was troubled towards the end.  I loved him as Nik back in the ‘90s and he will always be the real Nik to me. Nik/Liz/Lucky were my ish in the ‘90s.  I did grow annoyed with the Nik/Emily over saturation in the early ‘00s but I still had love for the actor. Damn. Rest in peace Tyler 😔

  2. Noooo! Not Shaft! RIP Mr. Roundtree.

Frances is the perfect physical blend of both her parents. I am so proud of her that she turned out relatively normal despite her parents shortcomings and the dysfunction of her childhood. She is what I used to hope for poor Bobbi Kristina.

Justin’s been a selfish asshole and I don’t know how ol’ Ramen Noodlehead got the solo career over fine-ass JC who can sing better.

The older I get the more I despise Justin and his lack of originality. Justified was him cosplaying as Michael Jackson. Futuresex/Lovesounds is him cosplaying as Prince. When he stops cosplaying, he’s boring (Man of the Woods-total flop). How did the collective we allow this man to have a successful career? The Britney stuff just reminds me he has no redeeming value whatsoever.
I love that all this came out just as the NSYNc reunion tour was being hyped. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Timberlake.

I also don't doubt they were getting a lot of pressure and suggestions from people around them, too. This was the era of purity rings, and when every single one of the teen pop girls had to make a big to do in their interviews and whatnot about how they were saving themselves for marriage, and the media kept going on and on about how Britney and other famous teen pop stars like her had to be good role models for young girls (the guys never had to be role models, mind, only the girls) and all that sort of thing.

So to have two of their biggest teen pop stars not only hook up, but have one get the other pregnant besides? Oh, yeah, that would definitely not fly in some corners. So naturally they'd want to find a way to avoid that potential media firestorm.

Yup and this was during the time she was proclaiming she was still a virgin too. So their management definitely would have forced a shotgun wedding if she decided to keep it. The resentment of a forced marriage at the height of their careers and pause of Britney’s career while she gives birth and tended to the baby would have been disastrous. Both of them to this day seem to be selfish, immature narcissists who love to play the victim. Life would have been emotionally difficult for that child.

Thats a shame but not surprised.  He seems to be pretty private and she is the complete opposite, so I wonder if that had something to do with it.

Her mom (who lives with them) is a strong personality that may be difficult for some to live with. I would not be surprised if that played a factor in their breakup.

  5. How convenient that he asks for more money right after he moves to a state with a high cost of living, one of the sons is aging out of support, and he still isn’t working. If a woman did this to a male celebrity, she would be flamed all over the internet.
I sympathize with Kevin and the kids for having to deal with her unstable behavior but that's it. The kids deserve every penny of support they can get from her and I truly hope it all goes to them but his ass needs to get a job. They aren’t little and don’t need a stay at home dad anymore.

  6. I lost my sweet Ella last night. I found her dying and rushed to the vet. I am really not a fan of the vet trying to sell me on expensive bloodwork when my cat is clearly dying.

She was such a sweet companion and so laid back. She only hissed once in her whole life and she never had a attitude and loved to cuddle. I’ll miss my sweet baby so much. RIP my precious Ella.

  7. In a business where so many are ripped off or not given proper credit, it’s absolutely heartwarming that the little British white boys like Mick and Bowie that admired and was influenced by her in their youth stepped up and repayed her when she needed the help and they were on top. Beautiful.

ETA: This post made me think of Cher and how  both ladies evolved from their ‘60s personas and weren’t afraid to go for a comeback and be sexy while doing so in their 40s and beyond. I hope Cher is hanging in there after losing a friend of almost 60 years. My heart goes out to her. I can’t even imagine.

Since she fought in court to retain her stage name, and kept it, I don't think so.  If she wanted to call herself that, she would have.

Thank you. I have been cringing at all the remembrance posts referring to her as Anna Mae. It was so disrespectful to me. She decided a long time ago to become Tina Turner and never looked back. To refer to her as that is just so diminishing of all she worked to overcome.

  9. Soap actress Jackie Zeman, known for her role as Luke’s sister, Bobbie Spencer, on General Hospital has died at 70. Damn. I haven’t watched in about 15 years but old-school GH was my ish and Jackie was a hell of an actress in her day. So sad. I loved Bobbie Spencer. RIP Jackie and thanks for bringing her to life for all these years.

Well, it's great that he's not in such fragile health that Mr. Nicholson has no choice but to be a recluse. However, attending a game isn't the same as having completed a tri-athelon or bench pressed a Sherman tank!

Well, he is 86. I wouldn’t expect the average 86 year old to complete a triathlon.🙂 Seriously, I think he looks like a normal 86 year old. Jack has never exactly been a health nut, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he does have health issues at his age. But it’s good that he was able to get out and about and enjoy the basketball game.

It's incredibly sad that every single one of the members of LFO has gone way too young. I was just listening to "I Don't Wanna Kiss You Goodnight"  in the car less than an hour ago.

    RIP

Brad is still alive. He is the one who commented on the death of this bandmate. The guy who died was an original band mate who left before they became famous. I feel sorry for the last one left standing. It has to feel creepy as hell.

Bruce Willis celebrated his 68 birthday today and his wife posted a video of the family singing to him with candles lit on a cake.  I found it so touching.  I can’t recall having something like that bring tears to my eyes.  It’s a terrible condition, but he seems to have an incredible support system.

Watch the response at the end of the video.

I really hope he had a "good day" health-wise and he and his family were able to enjoy their time with together.
