Yeah its kinda snoozy now without Sherri/Whoopi dynamic

That's a comment a twiter follower tweeted.  WTF was the dynamic between Whoopi and Sherri?  It seemed to me all Whoopi ever did was roll her eyes and shake her head in disgust at most of what Sherri said.

Can Sherri go one day without mentioning the View?  If and when the View has it's plug finally pulled she is probably going to think it's because she was longer there.

Yeah, I saw that tweet too and had the exact reaction you did. The Whoopi/Sherri dynamic?? Did she mean the "dynamic" where Sherri said or did something ignorant, obtuse, or just plain cringe worthy and Whoop rolled her eyes and then went back to sleep? That dynamic?

And no, apparently she can't go a day without mentioning The View, only now apparently she's dissing it or gossiping about it. At least that's the implication in this tweet from the guy who's radio show she did this morning:

@TJMShow: @SherriEShepherd's view is good…the other @TheView, not so much.

Ha. A French TV host mocks Bitsy and her Fox and Friends idiots, calling her "Barbie."

So laughing about how the town of Birmingham England made fun of some fox cable comedy news channel yahoo when he proclaimed that they were controlled by Muslims.  The guy  from fox comedy news actually apologized.

The Prime Minister of England called him - whoever he (the Fox pundit) is - "clearly a complete idiot"

The Brits are having a great time at the expense of our 'pundits' on fox comedy news.

Perhaps the lesson is to very overtly mock them as the comedy figures they already are - the fox comedy news channel -

Sherri has her thong in a twist about the Daily News & her "Comedy Act"

Irresponsible for @NYDailyNews to create stories from fragmented parts of a standup act just to capitalize off #TheView being in the news!

I tell JOKES! Comics should be able to work on material without @NYDailyNews taking out of context for headlines: http://goo.gl/Yle7BG

I think it is so hilarious when Sherri plays the "I'm a comic" card.

Now it's an unemployed her doing standup for a fee, being in 2 movies or so, and has a recurring role on her friends show. Nicely Nash, iirc. And the radio gig, and Lux.

But then she loves to say she was a co-host on The Talk and something else when she really was a GUEST co-host.

I just find it fascinating that she's finally admitting that she was canned and that it wasn't her decision with her 7 year God's plan story. It's also fascinating (if true) that she would ask them not to include The View in her intro and then proceed to use The View as fodder for her act. That doesn't make any sense.

She's got some nerve accusing the NY Daily of being "irresponsible" and capitalizing on The View being in the news when 1) all they did was print comments from someone who was obviously really there and told what they saw, and she was, after all, in public doing a standup act; and 2) she has spent the last 6 months booking herself on any show that would have her to...wait for it...capitalize on The View being in the news.

Last night Sherri live tweeted The Whitney Houston movie???

Hopefully she realizes it is a scripted movie- not a reality show!

(No cameras captured the events Sherri states as reality)

I don't understand the live tweeting during a movie. I found it strange.

WOW Sherri is providing a neat service, we can read her "intelligent" "thoughtful" tweets written from her "in" angle as an actress instead of watching shows ourselves, is this a forerunner  to "Sherri Tweets Her Reality"

To save you time and your computer's health, the clip is basically Sherri reciting those trite self-affirmation slogans you see on a Lululemon shopping bag - things that everyone claims to follow but rarely do. "Do something that scares you," etc.

As a fellow human being who's just trying to get by, I root for Sherri. But I wish she'd just keep it real and not try to sell herself as some fearless superwoman.

If that is the persona Sherri is going for then I think she is failing miserably.  IMO she comes across as a needy attention seeking narcissist.  Her ego ballooned the longer she was on the View and now that she isn't on anymore she is starved for the attention that came with being on TV every day.  Which IMO explains her seemingly appearing everywhere.

And may I say I absolutely HATE when someone live tweets during a show while it is airing.  I don't have Twitter but I can't tell you how many times someone on my Facebook has spoiled a show that I was DVRing and hadn't watched yet.

Thanks for the link...makes me miss joy...for as much as I wish she wouldn't repeatedly pull up some of those old jokes she tells, her discussion of current events, politics, etc. is always reasoned and thought proving even if you don't agree with her. I am going to have to try to track down when the NPR radio spot she is guest hosting on to listen.

Edited to add...just checked NPR schedule for Phoenix...found no Leonard Lopate?!? Didn't she say she would be on NPR?

So the mayor of Paris is going to sue Fox News over the No-go zone nonsense, I hope that they name Bitsy as a co-defendant!

Joy was on Morning Joe for the last half hour this morning, she rocked it.

She'll be guest hosting the Leonard Lopate Show on Thursday.

It's always nice to see Joy. She seems to be having fun and enjoying her post View life. I'm happy for her. That NPR radio gig sounds like a treat for her and right up her alley. [shallow side note: she did seem to be having an unfortunate hair day today, and then they plunked her under a particularly harsh overhead light that did her no favors. Oh well. The perils of doing your own hair for live TV.]

Wow, thanks for the link NextIteration.  I agree she did indeed rock it!   I'm sorry she was ill last week and wasn't able to come on The View, but she does indeed seem to be having fun in her 'retirement'.   Oh, and Mika is still a flake, in my opinion - especially trying to get Joy to give an opinion on a movie she hasn't seen, said she hadn't seen, etc.  I loved how Joy kept steering it back to relevant issues rather than get in the dirt over a movie.

So not only are they recycling Barbara by having her on The View again from time to time, her old TV interviews will be on TV again! (Good, poor thing needs the money! Wonder if Geddie packaged this up and gets a cut?). The New York Post reports Investigation Discovery channel has pulled some out of mothballs and will air the interviews in a new series scheduled for September called “American Scandal With Barbara Walters.”

I'd probably watch that, I love ID Discovery. It will be fun to make fun of BW, and her fashions throughout time, plus I love a good scandal. I wonder if she will do an updated introduction to each episode, hopefully not, I want Maureen Maher! I know she's CBS, but I can dream.

Huh. Maybe they ran out of time? Lol. What's odd is, she never promoted this appearance on Twitter. I just checked and Nada, she's just retweeting stuff about how people who want a "fair share" are socialists. I'd be surprised if she knew what socialism is.

And Meredith was asked a question as to which three View hosts she would save or something like that, and she didn't want to answer and then she said one of them would be Joy.  I was surprised she didn't say BaWa.  But not surprised she didn't say Bitsy.

Bitsy has reached a new low:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/24/fox-news-whiteness_n_6538986.html

Fox News is raising alarm bells over an Arizona college course that studies whiteness.

The network’s “Fox and Friends” show ran a segment Friday titled “Trouble with Schools,” criticizing an Arizona State University course called “U.S. Race Theory & the Problem of Whiteness,” portraying it as an attack on white people. The professor of the course, Lee Bebout, is white.

"Fox and Friends" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who has not sat in on the course and was unable to reach the professor for comment, referred to it as “quite unfair, and wrong, and pointed.”

Hasselbeck based her comments on criticisms leveled by ASU student Lauren Clark, who objects to the course’s books, including Richard Delgado’s Critical Race Theory and Jane Hill’s The Everyday Language of White Racism.

“All of these books have a disturbing trend and that’s pointing to white people as a root cause of social injustices for this country,” Clark told Hasselbeck on the segment, adding that such a course “causes more problems than solutions.” Clark is not herself enrolled in the class.

There is more on the site, follow the link above to watch the clip.    Hasselbeck and some student, neither of whom have taken the class or spoken to the professor, are offended that a UNIVERSITY offers a class to study the history , culture, and literature of racism.

It's not a required class,  It's not a class for kids.   it's a class that ADULT college students can elect to take if they're interested in the topic.   How in the world can anyone be against college students learning about racism?

On a network not known for intellectual rigor, Fox and Friends is the stupidest show on it. Bitsy went through Boston College, from what I can tell from her reminiscing, dating the quarterback, playing softball, and painting sneakers. Yet she has the set on her to criticize a professor she didn't talk to, about a course she didn't take. I'd love to know the last book she read, and evangelical marriage guides blaming Satan for divorce do not count.

(Memo to self: must check into starting a Fox and Friends forum.)

I'll admit I was stunned that anyone could be that stupid (to make a big deal out of a class they didn't bother to investigate)  but then I remembered that just the mention of the n-word once sent Bitsy into tears.   I'm not surprised she and her moron friends at Faux would blast something without finding out about it and of course Bitsy isn't going near anything academic with a ten-foot poll.

Thanks for the link backformore.   Everytime one of these stories pops up I'm grateful that if Elisabeth Hasselbeck has to be on TV it's on cable and airs in the middle of the night out here.

Can you imagine how bad Bitsy's head would explode if she watched on episode of Melissa Harris Perry who essentially gives a primer on this topic on every one of her episodes.  Closed minds are unbelievable.

Two blonde girl next door types questioning white privilege, hysterical.

I am sending an email to "Friends@foxnews.com" asking them to have Ms. Hasselbeck and their team do some real research before they report on something in a half baked way.  I'm sure I will get the same automated response I get from ABC when I write often about the Whoopi situation.

I was just looking at this again. She called it "pointed"? Does she even know what that means? It's not perjorative per se. You could have a pointed rebuttal, a pointed reply, etc. It just means direct, to-the-point. She's really a moron.

Yeah, I think Bitsy was using it as a way of saying, they're blaming WHITE PEOPLE for racism! Pointing at us, as though we're to blame!

It would be great if this could be discussed on the current show, but I think any criticism of Bitsy would risk the whole "Rosie the lesbian attacks poor little blonde girl" again.

Many college classes teach much more than the subject matter. The main thing is critical thinking skills. Being able to learn the material and analyze it from many viewpoints. I bet the professor brings up the Fox news criticism in class as a point of discussion . (Like, see what happens when people don't possess critical thinking skills).
