Def not Jenni. She wants her face plastered everywhere & is making it happen. I don’t watch enough of other realities to have an alternate suggestion.

That website where I got the Blind is who said it was Jenni. I just posted the link. It surprised me as well as I thought she was happily married and when not doing this show has time to be a Mom to her two kids. I should have clicked on her name. It tells the reason the guessed her. I’ll get back to y’all.

I went back and that rumor came from an article in the Daily Mail. I can’t get to the end of it as there is too much advertising and when I try to scroll down they put up a video. When I hit the X to stop the video it automatically takes me to another site. Frustrating. She just never struck me as the cheating type.

I think that I understand the allegations that Jenni supposedly made against Jeff: Jeff repeatedly called her a liar and Jenni asked Bravo not to air it. Bravo refused. Jenny claimed that what he was saying was abusive. Then, Jenny alleged wrongful termination when Jeff released her to focus on her acting career 100%. Jeff was doing her a favor or at a minimum, called her bluff. Jenny thought that Jeff had no right to let her go since she was a co-star, producer, etc. and learned that Bravo was not going to intercede. Jeff was clearly wrong in yelling at Jenny and is delusional himself if he thinks that he can take his business to the next level by berating or humiliating people. Jenni was wrong too in stating that her position at Jeff Lewis Design was humiliating. No employer wants to hear that!

I believe that Lea is a good business person but she gives Jeff too much credit. Good talent, work ethic, or reputation will not help Jeff get to the next level until he learns to hire the right people and treat them with respect and as the professionals that they are. Part-time or contract people also will not take Jeff's business to the next level. One cannot serve two masters.

I hope that Jeff and Jenni can patch up their relationship and Jenni is able to continue to be Monroe's godmother. I want to see Flipping Out continue on Bravo since I do not have a Netflix subscription and I am not going to get one.  I need to see Valley Vista and New Hollywood finished so this cannot be the last season for Flipping Out and Bravo.

Finally, I hope to hear that Jeff's lawsuit with the surrogate was settled (meaning Jeff wrote her a check to make it all go away. More as a repentance for all of the ill-will that he has spread this season than because the surrogate has any standing).

Personally I think this was a grand season finale!  Jeff and Jenni will return next season because the show must go on!

In my opinion, this was an awkward and uncomfortable season finale. Made me squirm for all involved, including Jeff, Jenni, Gage, Leah, Megan and everyone involved in this shit show, which I used to love.

I truly think that Jeff and Jenni are done. Listening to Jeff's radio show with Leah Black pretty much confirms this. It is quite apparent that the relationship between J & J has reached the point of no return. Listening to Jeff and Leah, on the radio show, talk about the situation with Jenni was quite disgusting. It's obvious that Leah has been counselling Jeff to ditch Jenni for quite some time, a long time actually. I don't understand why Jeff had asked Jenni to be godmother to Monroe considering that apparently his feelings for her had changed over the past few years, according to what he is stating to Leah today.

On his radio show he has recently been talking about how he is looking for a new job/show and also has been dissing Jenni. I don't blame him for dissing Jenni, she is just as much to blame, but he is also culpable.

Jenni's narrative is not to be trusted. I do not believe her whole story about missed opportunities.

Having said that, Jeff is still a jerk. He is using his radio show to present his side. Jenni does not have this type of opportunity.

I very much dislike Andy Cohen, but after Jeff read his texts out, Andy has stated on his radio show that he cannot trust Jeff and will no longer be sending him any texts and all communication will be direct phone calls. Andy is obviously done with Jeff's antics.

I think that Flipping Out is done.

I totally agree, Sadie.

What I don't understand is after it was revealed that Jenny is a Bravo plant, doesn't work for JLD and hasn't for a few years, why did she pretend her part time appearances filming FO prohibited her from pursuing her dream?     When she worked for him, he let her go on auditions.  And why did Jeff appear to fire her if she didnt work for him?   I think a lot of this was staged and the editing was misleading.

The whole thing was so meta.  She was fired from a job she didn't have, accompanied by fake sobs.  So it was a fake scene about being fired from a fake job.   She moaned about not having a TV career when she HAS a TV career, as an actress on Flipping Out, not as Jeff's assistant.  When Megan "quit" and the other assistant "quit," I figured they were cleaning house for a total refresh next season.

I love seeing the houses, etc, I like Gage and the baby, and I usually like Jeff, so I hope there is a next season, Jenni or no Jenni.

Once it's realized this is just a show with very little reality and lots of $$$ in the ACTORS pockets then you realize how this season finale was brilliant!  Everybody is talking about it!  Bravo to the ingenious writers that thought this one up!

They will all be back next season.  Count on it!

Look, I always liked the Jenni and Jeff combo.  She always brought both jokes/antics and calm when needed.  This season I think Jeff really got an assistant that worked well for him and was resentful that he had to keep Jenni as his "assistant" for Bravo purposes.  He didn't handle that well and Jenni was not sure when to jump in to work or not.  They should have set down at the beginning of season and carve out a new role for her, he was really passive agressive about that from the beginning.

That said, Jenni is full of baloney about the Nicholas Cage thing.  I think she may have some regrets about not leaving the show and going full on to pursue acting...but I also believe he gave her flexibility more so than any other job.  Goodness, she now only shows up for bravo season.  She makes a lot of money as a reality star and if she regrets sticking to that rather than moving to NY, then she can't blame Jeff for that.  Those are her decisions and he was fair to call her on that.  He shouldn't have called her a liar, but he was dead on in the lunch meeting.  So, show is dead and friendship is sadly dead.  Jeff will go on designing and now Jenny has nothing...although she was good with Jeff She doesn't have enough as a stand-alone personality.  I don't think I would watch Jeff by himself either.  Hopefully they can makeup as friends off camera.

I think the only way that Jenni's Nick Cage story could be remotely true is if she had an opportunity to audition for the part but she would have had to be gone for two weeks when FO was filming if she got the part, so she didn't audition because she was contractually obligated to Bravo (or the production company) to film during those weeks.

They would have incorporated it into the show more likely.  They did that with Heather Dubrow in housewives of OC when she was on hot in Cleveland.  When she quit she said it was preventing her from acting jobs, but the guest appearances walked after she quit her reality stint.  This is what Jenni doesn't get, she can do some more things if she wants as a reality star, which is why sitcoms would want you for a spot or two.  Once your not a reality star, they have a lot of other younger more experienced people to choose from.

and NOW wants a career in acting?  Don’t think so.

To be fair to Jenni she has always wanted to be an actress, it’s why she and Chris started working for Jeff because they were struggling actors and they lived in one of his rental properties.

She has had a line or two in some episodic tv, she showed up on an episode of Monk that recently aired, but she was never going to be a successful actress because she isn’t very good.

  • Love 4

I waited until today to watch this episode because I knew it was going to make me sad, and it sure has.

The thing is, I agree that Jeff is too hard sometimes, blunt to the point of being mean, etc., but I also always agree with what he’s saying even if I don’t agree with how he says it.

i believe Jenni is a very nice person, and I would be very happy for her if acting worked out for her, but I don’t think she has the talent.  Her raps make me cringe. She is funny to me when she does things like spectacularly fall face down, but when she’s trying to be funny...no.  She’s also a bit long in the tooth to have a real shot even if she had the talent to get anywhere.

Should Jeff have been kinder? Sure. But this is Jeff, and once she basically blamed him for her dead acting career (including as maybe/maybe not being and extra in a Nic Cage movie), not only did her pent up frustrations spill over, so did his.

He has always wanted her to be realistic about her chances of becoming an actress, and she has always wanted him to tell her she’s going to be a big success at it.  They were never going to meet in the middle on this, and it’s a shame their long, loving friendship had to end this way.

I realized here at the end that with Zoila gone and a new staff who actually does their job without complaining, Jeff no longer has problems in that area. I’ve always believed Zoila was the issue there, not his temper. When people do their jobs well, he doesn’t get on their asses to do better. Funny how that works!

I hope somehow this show gets renewed.  It doesn’t need Jenny. I wish her well in her life as a very fortunate mother and wife of a doctor, and I hope one day that will be enough for her.

I too like seeing the baby and not sure if this fight is a big staged scam to plan for a big reunion and make up later. As for Jenni and her acting why couldn’t she open a small theater herself and perform there if it is about the creative process vs the fame. Or look for local theater groups. Her “talent” would have a better opportunity to reveal itself

Yes, I think he called her bluff.  She claims he is holding her back, he releases her.  She then fights back that it is not what she wanted.  technically he couldn't release her, but Bravo would have to explain that she works for them.  So it was a little scorched earth on Jeff's part, but I think he was tired of her not working except during Bravo air times, both Meghan and Jenni saying they would not do the 4 times a year at High Point because it was too much, and personally hurt.  I just wanted to say it is weird IMO employees can say they do not want to do High Point because it was long crazy hours and they would prefer just to eat lunches and pick out lights locally.  It just confirms that Jenni was being paid by Bravo and he was paying bonuses for those extra "work gigs" like High Point and then she can "pick and choose".  But he has a business to run and is contractually obligated to manage that client 4 times a year and do their seasonal turn-over stagings.  I think it was things like this that really then offended him when Jenni then was personally blaming him for her "acting career".  I really enjoyed the show and I am sorry it will be over... but Jeff is still a great designer and can continue to do so hiring staff that is more design goal oriented and less reality star struck.

Not really "scathing" texts. But Andy did say he will never text Jeff again as he has lost trust in him.

I agree -I don't think Andy said anything wrong or "scathing".  The things Jeff did were unprofessional, like his joke instagram pic about his contract not being renewed, or x-ing out Jenni's photo before the season show was released.  He had already decided he didn't want to play the game.  Of course, his choice, but I agree with Andy... what is your end game?  what do you hope to achieve?  I don't have netflix and although it was light entertainment that I enjoyed, it is not really a show of substance that would get me to purchase it.

Sooner or later, they all go one by one because of Jeff, sad to say.  I just hope Gage stays because of Monroe.  He’s growing Monroe up so nicely .. and is a great Father to her.  She would be devistated if she lost Gage.

So much Leah Black. Is she angling to be on the show with Jeff as a replacement of sorts for jenni?

Sort of seems like that horse has already left the barn, doesn't it?  Now that Tommy Shaw's wife has moved to Nashville, he needed a new bearded lady to be the id to his ego.  She knows how to play, having been a member of the Miami RHO franchise.  I actually don't mind her on the show.  I think we need a couple of strong peripheral characters to balance Jeff's scenery chewing.  Gage isn't that, and Taylor isn't that, at least for me.  Meghan wasn't ever that, but she's leaving, so if the show is to continue, it will definitely need a couple of additional characters.

I personally would love the opportunity to be Jeff’s assistant.  I’ve worked for WAY WORSE than him and never had the anger directed towards me because I know how to be the right kind of employee for a perfectionist.  I love his sense of humor, I love watching him work, I get his personality and would be able to complement it rather than clash with it. If only I wasn’t firmly planted on the East Coast, dammit.

He hires people with his heart more than his mind. When he likes someone he will find a way to give them a job whether they are the right fit or not.  Maybe Lea can help him with that. Her laugh is annoying, but she’s not wrong in the things that she said.

  • Love 5

Jeff is great at what he does (I saw his award winning kitchen design in N.Y. City.)  He is a generous person as we saw all through the seasons.  It’s so simple.  He has to run his business like people do without sneaky grubbing maids and insufficient workers.  No animals walking around and no lunches.  A real office with people who want to work with him and learn the business. I really don’t think he’s that mean in real life?  Maybe he went overboard for the show for drama?

  • Love 4

I just watched the last episode very slowly and carefully.  From the get go, when Lea Black was talking on how to make the business better,Jenny, out of nowhere said she wanted to be an actress, and sort of blamed him for not taking the time off to audition.  If she wanted it so much, she would have asked him.  Other things she said was like blaming him for not “making it” in the acting field.  If she wanted acting so much, she would have persuaded it more and tell him what was going on.  I feel like he was right in what he was saying in the car, but then she put out the tears and made him the bad guy.  If you watch it again, you will see his point, and her trying to justify herself.  I meant persued up there, not persuaded.  When a woman cries, that’s her last resort, and made him look like an uncaring creep.  Jenni wanted to act and still wanted the job with Jeff.  You can’t have everything and be secretive about it.  It’s either one or the other.

Exactly! I mean the Nicholas Cage thing that she was bitching about not only did she not mention it to Jeff, she didn’t get the job because she refused to put herself on TAPE which meant she didn’t need any time off for at least the first round of the audition. She is using him as a scapegoat for her lack of talent and decions she and she alone made*.

*I am curious what her husband thinks about her pursuit of an acting career. Most of their marriage has been dealing with infertility, multiple miscarriages and now raising two lovely children, the Flipping Out gig is pretty ideal for the mother of two young children since she only shows up when they are filming and the pay is a lot better than just being his assistant.

She kept Jeff in the dark because she was unsure of herself in acting.  Then she blamed him for not making it.  When they had lunch and he let her go, she was devastated and pulled out all the guns, but it didn’t work.  Now, she’s not an actor, and has no job with him.  Double whammy for not being honest, secretive and the waterworks didn’t work.  I think Jeff was more than fair with her.  And that Meghan, taking her side.  Stupid.   P.s.  I want to be an actress too.  Doesn’t mean I can.  Should I blame my husband?  LMAO.  (Not really).   P.p.s.s.   Why is Jenny so scared for the future?  Isn’t her husband a doctor?

I don't really find issue with Jeff calling Jenni a liar - what kinda made me cringe was Leah laughing while he was doing it. I'm almost positive that's what made it sting Jenni deeply.

And I'm willing to bet that IF Jenni did have an opportunity she gave it up because at the time she was making way more money doing the tv show and was probably worried about not having that income when that acting job ended.

There are some folks that don't follow the accepted vaccination schedules for children, which is different than not vaccinating. For example, rather than having the kid take the MMR (measles, mumps, & rubella) as a single shot, they will do them one at a time over a longer period of time. It may not be as tragic as that statement implies

My SO rarely watches this show, but I had it on in the background during dinner. He was appalled that Jeff let Leah behave in the manner she did and was like "Wow, that blonde lady instigated the whole thing!" I had to explain to him that Jeff is pretty much only interested in Jeff's feelings and that probably thought Leah's behavior was funny.

Jeff probably thought it was great that Leah was on his side and assumed she was laughing because she found it as ridiculous as he did. He was obviously feeding off her laughter, but that's how he is.  He loves to be right, but when he's validated at being right he loves to stick to the person even more.  To me it's a little weird that that argument triggered Jenni so much, which is why I think it was Leah's laughter that made it worse. And if what Jeff says is true about Jenni (going behind his back asking favors from his wealthy clients) then she's not going to get mad at Leah, she's going to direct it all towards Jeff.

My POV is that none of this is about Jenni at this point. It's all about Jeff. No one can talk back to/disagree with this egotistical, OCD, selfish man. I used to like Jeff Lewis. I thought he was funny. The last 2 years or so have shown me a completely different side to him. When he's wrong he can never, ever admit it without a "BUT" and turning the situation around to point a finger at the target of the day. Prior to Jenni walking in for their "lunch" he was visibly shaking. His head does an odd little shake when he is furious and being self righteous. Watch it again. He has that shake. His apology was meh. Complete BS for the cameras. He is a mean, self centered asshole and I'm sure there are many, many people who have left his life that feel that way. Gage is no better. That he stays with this abuser speaks volumes about  him. I'm sure there are many other men who would be interested in Gage. He's handsome, seems to have a sweet side to him when it comes to his child, has the ability to make enough money to help support his family. What on earth is he doing with Jeff Lewis? As someone who always thought Jeff was entertaining and clever it is huge for me to write something like this about him. I admired his love for his grandmother. I admire his talent and ability to envision what a complete piece of junk house can become. Now I think he has incredibly difficult emotional and mental health issues that will never be resolved. For whatever reasons therapy doesn't seem to help. His narcissism and controlling behavior is so painfully obvious and eventually turns into abuse. You don't have to physically harm someone to be abusive. He knows how to hurt with words and attitude and he enjoys it while he's doing it. I hope the show is not renewed. It's unhealthy for all involved. I feel sorry for Monroe. I hope to God the love he has for that child saves her from the disturbed guy he has evolved into. Shut it down. I hope he gets the proper mental health help and not some therapist who feeds his ego and tells him what he wants to hear.

Also, I'm calling BS on the Jeff "my business needs professionals" shtick as well. He's the one that keeps hiring cheap young labor like his fifty-five bazillion assistants, and the revolving door of prior seasons design associates. Between them and the part-time mommies working 30+ hours per week (Jenni, Megan, Ms Mark-Paul Gossalar/James Van Der Beek) that's pretty much been how he's kept the office afloat since Gage was hired. You want design professionals with enough experience to execute? They are going to expect that you 1) pay a living wage; 2) provide them with the materials necessary for their job including phones; 3) treat them as equals or at least with basic respect.

I still like Jeff but see his flaws - I wouldnt want to work for him, hell no, but he's entertainment for me- but what I have come to see, especially more so on his radio show, is that I think Gage has a hidden 'mean girl' in him, much like Jeff. He's just better at not showing it unless REALLY triggered. So I don't think Gage is this poor, innocent, sweet, guy as he is portrayed on the show. Gage just has a cooler head about him.

You've got it right, I think.

As someone who married a Jeff Lewis type (and there is a "type" associated with his behavior), there is NO act involved when he begins his slow burn which quickly escalates into verbal abuse and, lately, threats of firing.   He uses people until his rage gets the better of him at which point he lets them go, then expects all to be forgotten at a time he deems appropriate.  He uses Jenny, whether she formally "worked" for him or not.  Okay, maybe the last few years she was employed by the show rather than by Jeff Lewis Design.  If their actual relationship was staged for the sake of the show they would've fooled me.  I am thinking specifically of Jeff's calling Jenny to come to the bedside of Grandma.  He sure appeared to have needed Jenny's motherly assistance both as support to him and to the grandmother.

He is narcissistic to an extreme.  I think the term, "narcissistic," is overused, but in Jeff L's case it would seem the best description.  Gage is beginning to assume that long-suffering expression I've seen on the faces of many victims of narcisstic abuse.  It would not be surprising if he has learned to block out much of Jeff's cruel behavior by simply going through the motions, doing what is expected of him, and dreaming of the day when he can gather the courage to leave.  He stays with Jeff because of the show and the money-- that's my guess.  If I had to offer Gage one important piece of advice it would be this:  Leave now before Jeff beats you to it (which he will, I promise).  Narcissists cannot bear to be left; they must be the ones to do it first.

I'm still wondering, too, about the firing of Paul and Franky.  Didn't one of them get fired by Jeff earlier on in this season or the last, only to return again, quite predictably?  If Flipping Out is, indeed, gone for good, I'll be shocked.

There are plenty other shows where I can get my real estate/decorating fix.  I am fine with the show being over and Jeff Lewis et al being off my TV.  I hope he is getting regular therapy so he interacts with his daughter in a healthy manner as she gets older.

Any employee working for him cannot develop fully because of how he runs the office and his staff.  The communal working tables and joint lunches are ridiculous.  Hopefully  the scenes where it takes a huge group of 3 to 6 people to pick out a light fixture, check on job site, etc. were just done for the sake of the show...you don’t need to waste all those people’s work time for that...he assigns tasks and uses his employee's time and skills inappropriately, not to mention his unprofessional office demeanor and the bossy, disrespectful tone he uses with people. Entertaining and cringeworthy to watch at first, but it gets old, ugly and mean fast.

I know he's gotten a taste of the money, opportunities and perks being on TV can bring and wants that to continue, but the show and his rude, disrespecting personality is no longer interesting to watch and Bravo knows this.
