I foresee Sophia heading to the Sierra Tucson spa in her future. Giving Sofia a Front row view of her moms ass getting replenished is sickening.

That girl sees way too much for her age and it’s going to start messing with her mentally. The girl most likely is already thinking about what plastic surgeries or treatments she’s going to want done to her body by 13 when other girls her age are just thinking about braces and training bras.

What if Sophia were a boy? Or if Farrah was a dad bringing his daughter around to watch his scrotum get replenished (you know what I mean ?) isn’t this something that needs to be addresssed by CPS? Idk.

I may be a prude or whatever but this seems way too gross and inappropriate. I most certainly wouldn’t want to see my moms ass in my face much less watch it get jerked around by a needle for vanity reasons. That poor kid.

Since I've been on a break from all things Teen Mom, I just saw the lawsuit settled. There were a few things that jumped out at me when I read the original Complaint, which was probably already hashed out here, but there are 37 pages of unread comments and I'm too lazy to read them all. I'm anticipating this might be a bit long since I'm having difficulty pulling the correct words and absolutely cannot say anything in a concise manner. This entire paragraph should probably only be twenty words long, but I'm nearing 200 give or take. : ) So, I decided to break it up in sections with most of the text under spoiler tabs so it doesn't take up so much room on the page.

Do you know why we will never get to see the contract we, the viewers, deserve -- no, HAVE EARNED THE RIGHT!!! to read? Of course you do. It's because we can't have nice things and these type of contracts have mandatory arbitration clauses so they are never filed in court. There are also usually jurisdiction requirements of where the action will be administered, typically New York.

I'm going to digress for a moment here to talk about myself since I've mentioned this several times in the past and don't want to come across as an attorney. I earned the Advanced Paralegal Certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants back when it was still called Certified Legal Assistant. I had to have a certain education, take a two day test, create a legal brief and have continuing education classes. Even though I worked in a few different offices, the majority of my work was in contract disputes and I have actually crossed paths with Farrah's attorney. We never worked on the same case, but there were times when we had a branch of the same master dispute, and I heard him argue a case in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. I'm not aware of anything negative about him. I am not an attorney, my work was always approved by an attorney, and since we'll never get to see the actual documents, I could be way off base with my opinions.

I'll start explaining in the spoiler tabs, but to summarize, in my opinion, this Complaint was only filed as a bargaining tool to get Farrah the money she would have earned if she finished the season, including the extras like the Tell Nothing and Aftershows. That part of the complaint isn't really discussed because the rest of it is so ridiculous, but there is a claim that she has not received all the funds she has earned. This case never had a chance to stand on its own in Texas, and Avonte Campinha-Bacote (ACB) never expected it to, just wanted it as a bargaining chip because it would be cheaper for the defendants to pay out her contract than to pay an attorney to file an Answer and Dismissal Motions.

Spoiler

After filing the Complaint the next step is to tell the Clerk of Courts how to serve it on the Defendants, i.e. Process Server, Certified Mail to the Registered Agent, etc. As soon as the Defendant signs the receipt the clock starts ticking and the Defendant has twenty-one days to file an Answer.

As far as I can tell since I don't have a PACER account, the original Complaint and an Amended Complaint were filed, but ACB never sent a Request for Service, so the Defendants have not formally received a copy and have not had to file an Answer.

If he had requested Service, attorneys for the Defendants would file Answers denying all claims along with Motions for Dismissal based on the contract that requires it to be handled in New York via arbitration. They would also request that the docket be sealed, at least as it pertains to the agreement, and it will be granted, because we can't have nice things.

ACB would respond to those Motions and claim that the actions of MJF that caused Farrah extreme fear and distress renders the contract voidable (doesn't void it automatically and likely doesn't void it at all) and until this Court (in Texas) determined that issue, the matter is best filed in this Court based on the Adopted Rules of Civil Procedure that require all matters be presented together unless there is a really good reason to bifurcate them. I really summarized that point because I made it too convoluted when I originally typed it.

The Defendants would argue that the only claim outside of what is contractually agreed upon is the MJF acts, so the court could keep that claim and dismiss all the other Defendants. Viacom would have in-house counsel that could draft most everything without it costing more than their salary, but they would have to pay a local attorney to argue it or file for Pro Hac Vice to allow him/her to appear for this matter, like ACB did, and fly out to Texas for the hearing.

I have no idea how much she has been paid or how much she would have earned if she didn't decide to film that SodaStream(?) video, but that is all I believe she received in settlement. The Defendants were never at risk from this filing. Farrah's contract stated she could not film without permission and she did. That is going to go under the next part.

Since day one I've had the very unpopular opinion that Farrah was not slut-shamed by the show. She was nasty and hateful to the other cast members and crew, the other cast members were nasty and hateful to her, and they absolutely slut-shamed her. When they asked her to come back she negotiated the right to keep working, probably through ACB. The only thing she couldn't do was film, and we were shown bits and pieces about this on the show.

Spoiler

Farrah called her mom during one episode to ask her if she wanted to do a counselling show with her, and Debz, always willing to be on television, said yes. MJF was notified, Farrah was contacted and told she couldn't film another show while under contract for this one. The next time they showed up to film her, she refused and claimed that they violated the contract by not letting her work. MJF flies out, points out to her that her contract allowed her to do everything but film without prior authorization from them, and the show was too similar. Farrah called him "white trash" resulting in Catelynn becoming outraged and wanting to fight her in another hilarious scene.

She continued to film this show, probably after talking to ACB and learning that she was violating the contract by not filming and MJF was correct. That and the rest of this paragraph is me guessing what happened next. We know she appeared on that boot camp show with her parents and others have filmed things, too, and I'm think that they likely had contracts that had a specific end date. We know that they had contracts saying the show could extend filming, but the contracts had to have an end date. If the end date was Jan 15, they would probably receive another offer shortly before with a time period to sign it and return it or sign an Intent to Appear pending negotiations. On Jan 16 they sign with the other show, and include it on the new contracts that they are allowed to fulfill the other contract work.

Farrah has worked in the adult entertainment industry since she came back. She has never stopped doing the appearances, trade shows, selling molds of her body parts and had financial interest in a webcam site called Farrah's Friends, or something (not googling it), but she didn't film herself. She is also an escort and has admitted it in different ways in the past. Not counting that stupid show where MTV sent her around the world to meet people, her many trips are paid for by men. I think it's one of the reasons she continued to film; her stock is higher because she's on television. She also needs the money.

Farrah had made it clear that she no longer planned to film. She felt taken advantage of the first time, and viewed herself as a special, limited edition escort since they couldn't see her in new videos. She walked into Vivid with plans to copy Kim K and they convinced her that they would do for her what they did for Kim, knowing full well that Kim's video is practically from another century when it comes to porn distribution. There was no way she was going to make the big amounts and more so, no way anyone would believe it was a sex tape with a boyfriend. Farrah's quite dim and thinks so highly of herself that it was an easy sale.

When it was disclosed that Amber and Scuzzy talked to Vivid, Farrah was asked her opinion and said what a bad idea it was to do it at her age, etc. Now, it's a different story for her. She has completely overextended herself, opened several businesses with "investors" and is practically broke. SodaStream(?) contacts her and says, "Dolla, Dolla Bills, Yo!" and she thought she would make more from that then from MTV. Unfortunately for her, it was so bad people demanded their money back.

She wasn't told that she was an improper woman if she did porn, but that it didn't meet the standards they want for this show. They film and air domestic violence, drug use, DUI and animal abuse under the guise that those are real people problems, but do not want their viewers, which they seem to think are impressional teens not old bitchy women like me, to see a cast member smoking cigarettes and think it's cool or see how Farrah is living like she has become a millionaire from filming sex and think it's a good idea for them, too.

They are hypocrites when it comes to their standards for the cast members, but she signed the contract agreeing to not film sex scenes and violated it. Anyone else having sex on film would also be let go, male or female, so she gets no sympathy from me for it.

Have you ever noticed how when someone is losing weight and you see them often you don't notice but when you haven't seen them for months you do? I think I'm having that with Farrah's nastiness. She's always been awful, but I watched the scene where she was talking about doing the porn, the fight about her mom being in the car and that argument about Sophia's teacher, and she really seems to be going off the deep end. It's like any day she is going to snap, go off on someone who will beat her down resulting in an MRI of the head that shows a lesion. Of course, she'll claim it's a diamond placed there by God because she's so special. I tried that two weeks ago when my MRI showed two new spots but my mom claimed I'm delusional. Farrah's parents would agree with her. Hmmmpft.

She really seems worse to me. It may just be stress or something, but damn, she acts like she needs some inpatient treatment.

I know some people don't have time to read every single entry in these forums, so here's my tidbit on the FroCo name from the previous page:

"FroCo was to be located on Austin’s super hip South Congress Avenue (SoCo), which meant the restaurant would have the snappy name FroCo on SoCo. Unfortunately, Farrah and her business partners reportedly ran into some snafus getting all of the permits they needed, and as a result, they abandoned the South Congress location."

Edited to add:  What do you think is up with her Austin businesses and "investors"?  Do you think they are legitimate businesses or as I've seen speculated...alleged money laundering operations?

That was my FIL’s opinion (previous posts - he was a labor lawyer and I got my husband to get him to briefly read the filing).

He said her case was basically nonsense for several reasons and she was likely negotiating for severance pay. Thanks for the better details! Makes a lot more sense of it to me!

I still can't believe that Sophia looks so much like Farrah.

I went and visited my friend who has a nine year old just a little bit ago and she brought out a book of homemade Halloween masks and projects to do around the house with pipe cleaners and yarn. I couldn't help but think of a video I watched of Sophia rapping about implants earlier today and knowing that she watched her mother's vagina surgery video really makes you think about what was normal for a kid to do on a snow day before social media.

So, today for some reason I decided to watch Farrah's IG story.  She's in a plastic surgeon's office so I'm like, let's see what Farrah's doing now.  Another vaginal rejuvenation?  No.  Labiaplasty for her mild to moderate hanging labia?  Yes.

That's not even the best part.  The BEST part is that during this story, which was actually a previously recorded live video, is that SOPHIA popped in to say hello to mom whilst her vag is being plastied.

Sophia was also there - in person - recently when Farrah had injections done on her ass cheeks. She sat in the room as her mom's ass was being filled up.

I am so not surprised by anything anymore re Farrah and Sophia.

Yeah, after I posted that, I started on a vortex of Farrah and read about that.
Also saw that Sophia has gone live on IG without supervision and creeps routinely are trying to chat it up with her or at least make inappropriate comments.

One article said it all; Farrah refuses to let Sophia be questioned by producers, yet she's live on IG on a public account.  PUBLIC.

Now, I'm not sure what incredible trauma Farrah apparently went through that she teases about from time to time, but she's back asswards with her own daughter.  It's like she thinks the safeguards and rules she has in place for Sophia that actually make sense overshadow the careless shit.

Oh and the job posting for her furniture store is just so classic.  I won't be working for her because for one, I don't know if I can drive a truck, and also, I don't know if I can "essemble" furniture.  Does she ignore spellcheck or what's going on?

I have actually crossed paths with Farrah's attorney.

We did see the original complaint, and I had negative thoughts when I saw that he said "principle place of business" more than once.  And I don't think he did it because he was following Farrah's style manual.

I hate that she's kind of living a 'celebrity' life.  You know it's just feeding into her delusion that she's better than everyone!

also, yes.  your nine-year-old wants to go all the way out to the desert in California to hang out at a resort with a stranger.  smh

I think Farrah’s trying to think up of anything provocative she can to get a story/quote in a tabloid trying to stay relevant (plus a paycheck/freebies). Kids at Coachella vs having your  8-yr old present for butt injections and watching your vaginal rejuvenation (didn’t she just do that a short while ago too?) on Instagram? Seriously?

Despite her ridiculous nonsensical way of speaking and delusions - I think she’s pretty street smart about how Reality TV fame works...

He shows it quite a bit on his social media, so take it for what it is. He seems to be doing just fine with his money, and has had that car for quite some time.

Sorry - often playing catch up on boards.

I looked at his Twitter and only multiple pictures of one house he’s flipping in the $50OK range and a current listing he’s agent for at $1.5M (looks beautiful)? He’s apparently a realtor at some agency called Dolan and his other listings and past sales (according to their website) were also in the $500K below range.

IMO - he’s as much of a BS artist as Farrah. They were meant to be.

Houses around where I live are now in the $1M plus range (some way more). Full disclosure - I have mine because I bought my original house for basically peanuts in 1999 in a then “transitional” neighborhood on Capitol Hill (five blocks due east of Union Station Metro) when nobody wanted to live here (as did Mr. DC - his was in a “better” then location - six blocks southeast from mine - my old house is now probably worth the same or more than his and he paid about 25% more for it - still relative peanuts).

I’m now pretty close to the main Capitol Hill commercial district and walk by the parking lot of one of the main realtors here often. Lots of nice cars - but no $120K ones.

I still think he’s a total poser. Does anybody know where he actually lives? I only went back on his Twitter for a couple of months so couldn’t tell.

I’m honestly not trying to be argumentative. I’m just insatiably curious on how much he’s paying in rent vs car lease payment (I think it’s a new car re old one - same make and model though?).

He lives is the Gas Lamp Quarter in San Diego. His condo is pretty nice (based on what he shows on social media).

I’ve been there! It’s really nice. This was of course 15-years ago when I went to a friend’s wedding.

Can you post a social media picture? I couldn’t find one.

Edited to add - sorry I was wrong he’s still living with his Mother.

According to what? I know he visits his family a lot. I don't know how to post his instagram stories, but that's where I see these things.

Thanks for responding - I now realize you posted the original response to me.

That was just me being obnoxious about living with his Mom...

Edited to add I know very little about Instagram...

Man, out of all of the early cast members from 16&P, Debra was the LAST person I’d thought to get reality TV hungry. When this show first started she was like a mom and stuff, lol. She was a disciplinary and talked like a mom to Farrah. Then season 2’ish the “jesus Will save you” started coming out when Farrah got mouthy but I thought “she’s religious, no big deal” but she’s wacky now.

Can MTV cash and attention from strangers really do this to a once professional person??? I want someone like TheAshley to interview some of Debs former co-workers and friends to ask if Deb was always this looney but scooted under the rug to keep her professional job or did this show make her this way.

Sophia looks beautiful.  I like her dress. It's little girl-appropriate while not being over-the-top frilly-flower-girl.  She and Farrah both look nice here.

I know this family is bat^%$#, but honestly I'm not half as worried about Sophia as I am about several of the other TM franchise kids.

This is really the most interesting part of Farrah's arc over the past decade.  WTH happened to Deb, EMBA?  I get that she's always been off, but her change has been the most drastic and embarrassing.

uhhhh, so how are they supposed to know what the roles are? Is this more to the ad? Also, what's up with the missing quotation mark?

ETA: Oooh, I just realized this might be a scam to get people she can sell "representation services" to. Like she acts as their agent for a fee. And charges them for "better" pictures.

This video is long, but IMO worth a look:

Not long at all - worth watching!

Farrah sounds somewhat normal (obvious edits)!

I clicked cause can’t get over how she looks. She was a pretty girl. I just don’t get how 20-something’s don’t get it that Botox, lip injections, plastic surgery makes them look like 40-something’s trying to look like their early 30’s.
