Has anyone watched any of Sofeeeeyah's YouTube videos? They are awful. She's actually not awful in them, but the content is awful. Sophia says her lines pretty well and doesn't seem stiff like most of the moms on the aftershows do. I was kind of surprised how well she presented the crap considering her constant baby talk with Farrah and Debz. She sounded a bit baby-talkish but not terrible. I'm curious to know if she really does have some kind of delay or impairment and how/if Starburst possibly being a therapy horse helps with whatever she may/may not have.

As long as Sophia enjoys doing that, it's great.  I know we all praise Farrah's work ethic but at the same time, I'm getting a slight Kris Jenner "make-my-kid-a-brand" vibe from her.  This isn't nice of me to say, but I'm not sure Sophia's got that "it factor" that other little girls would aspire to.  More power to them, I guess, but every kid deserves a childhood

I should have posted this last week! DebzOG had an interview with Patrick of the "I'm Bringing Blogging Back" blog.  If you can find it, just check it out to see what she is wearing!  Anyway, they played the new "song".  It's just as horrible as you think it is!

I don't think so, either.  She's always kind of walked with her shoulders back and boobs and butt out.  Even before the heavy implants.  Her back has always had a bit of a sway to it.  It's very noticeable when she isn't paying attention and making sure to sit and stand up straight.  When she was walking through the empty furniture store with Debz, it was really noticable.  She wasn't paying attention and was in casual clothes, barking orders at the construction workers and pissed off at her mom.  She had a big bag on one arm and swinging her other arm wildly.  I only noticed because it looked like at any point she was going to end up in an accidental death drop.

she has done way too much to her face.  she looks like a Muppet or something.  People under 30 shouldn't be able to touch their faces.   Someone said that twentysomethings with work done tend to look like "fortysomethings with work done", which is true.  They don't exactly look old, but they definitely don't look youthful at all.

 

Also I'd be shocked if she were pregnant, she's "kind of with Simon" and "maybe looking to move"...

I guess "baby on the fly" works for Kailyn, somewhat, so why not, but still.  Strange.

I'm stuck on my phone right now and radaronline is even worse on it than my computer. I don't usually click on their links because that site is full of crap anyway. Lol. But before the ads took over I was able to read "yeah, she's 26 and pregnant" and he laughed. They said he could have been joking with them but wouldn't admit if he was or not. He has said twice on his twitter that she was not pregnant. He just likes to keep people talking. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't type thing. 

I don't think she would allow him to say it anyway. She would want to sell that story to the highest bidder and I don't think he'd disagree with her on that. So who knows? Lol

I don't personally think she's pregnant, but I can't say I'd be hugely shocked if she was. I certainly hope she's not because that's one of the few good qualities I have going for her in my mind, that she didn't rush into having a second child. At this point it certainly wouldn't be rushed since Sophia is 8, but honestly she just doesn't strike me as an extremely motherly type, and I can't imagine bringing a baby into the dynamic of her family.

I would be legitimately shocked if she were actually pregnant. As you said, @leighroda, her choosing to not reproduce again is one of her best qualities. Not that I think she's the brightest crayon in the box, but I do think she's smart enough/has enough sense (can't believe I'm saying Farrah has sense) to wait until she's either married or in a truly stable relationship. I don't see her pulling an "I didn't think I could get pregnant (Kail, Maci) so I quit taking my birth control and OMG now I'm so surprised I'm having a baby."

I think it's an odd looking bump for someone who is slender.... maybe it's the placement of the waistline... but i think it totally looks like a baby bump and i'm usually skeptical

Except, of course, for Daddy Derek - the love of her life that she loved so much she was avoiding at all costs. And calling a stalker.  And refused to tell him that she was pregnant.  Ah the love of her life that she insists she would still be with today even though she wasn't with him for her pregnancy or when he died, not to mention the fact that very few people actually stay with their high school boyfriend who knocks them up at 16.


Sorry for the rant.  The revisionist history that both Teen Mom and Marriage Boot Camp have done about how "Daddy Derek" was the love of her life really angers and annoys me.

No, the Daddy Derek stuff bothers me too. I have zero issues with her telling Sophia about her father. The poor child will never know her dad, and she deserves to have photo albums and other ways to get to know him. I like Farrah going to visit his family with Sophia. And I don't even mind trying to keep things mostly positive. The kid doesn't need to hear all about the dysfunctional relationship. But when she goes on these shows and tries to act so traumatized, ALLLL these years later, by someone she barely had a relationship with, it's just disingenuous. It feels gross - likes she's using the guy, and he's not around to tell his side of the story. And here's the thing, you don't have to be soul mates to be upset by the fact that he died. I've found out that people I couldn't STAND died and I still cried, because I know they left family behind and that sucks for anyone. She could be sad for her daughter, but to act like the love of her life was prematurely ripped away from her is quite OTT.

Without getting a good read on the situation I'm not sure what to think. My dad died when I was 15. We weren't super close, but I was able to contextualize it better than Sophia because I was older and I at least knew my dad. I think Farrah trying to paint a good picture of the relationship makes sense. I get the idea that her parents (and his) were over-involved in the situation.

I always think this is why Farrah hates Deb so much. Deb wanted Farrah to stay away from Derrick and Farrah probably felt she had to listen to her. When he died, Deb probably acted relieved that they wouldn't have to deal with him anymore because Deb is cold like that. Farrah probably eventually regretted letting Deb keep her away from Derrick, hence the hate for her/blaming her for everything.

I'm willing to give Farrah a pass for a lot regarding Daddy Derrick. She was, what, 16 when he tragically died? I had a close classmate die in high school and was shocked at all of the other kids who claimed my dead friend was so close to them and how devastated they were. Kids that age think they are invincible and death is hard to process. Anyway, whatever revisionist theory she has is ok by me. Hope  Soffeyyah has a relationship with those grandparents.  Now, I have many other problems with Farrah, but not this.

I don't know, it's not like Farrah listened to Deb about anything else, even back then. If Deb disapproved I'd expect Farrah to double down just to irritated Deb.

Derek is probably the 'love of her life' because there aren't any others to compare him with.  Oh yes unless you want to consider...Simon.  Uggg.

Since she is so public I think we would hear about any boyfriends and so far Simon is it.   Those two seem to have an unhealthy fixation on each other.

Farrah's had a few boyfriends, including one who she travelled several hours to confront about something stupid, and that may have been shown on air, and one who went to the university there in Iowa or Nebraska and she tried to get a restraining order on many years ago. Then, there was the one in Florida who didn't appear on the show, but gave a bunch of info about what her porn was going to be based on his sexual history with her, and it apparently turned out to be true. I didn't watch the porn and don't remember where I read the article, but it was before it was released and after it was released, the online tabloids were talking about how right he was, right down to the words that would come out of her mouth. I think she tried to sue him for a gag order, but she couldn't for some reason. 

After the porn was released, she began working the adult entertainment circuit and "dating" a bunch of men, but I don't think that any were serious. According to reviews of her book, which I haven't read, she and Derek had a tumultuous relationship that she probably thinks is necessary to prove passion and love. Simon probably fulfills that for her, but he has never seen to show any extreme affection to me. She seems to listen to him when he says something negative, without fighting back like she does with her parents, so maybe she is growing up in that aspect of relationships. She certainly seems to be growing up in general, compared to the other yahoos. 

Derek's dad and stepmom have a relationship with Sophia, and have appeared on the show. I'm pretty sure that it is real and exists outside of a TM storyline. Derek's mom's name is Stormy, and Farrah will not allow her any contact with Sophia. Stormy sold stories trashing Farrah right after 16 and Pregnant aired, and I felt a bit for her since the story wasn't very friendly toward Derek. Then, she burned what little sympathy I had for her to the ground by making me side with Farrah. She was an addict herself, like Derek, and told The Social Security Company (TM Farrah) that Sophia wasn't Derek's and he never told her about Farrah being pregnant. Although it was true that Farrah didn't tell him, his sister told Farrah, and TSSC that he knew she was pregnant and was happy about it. After denying Sophia was her granddaughter, she sued Farrah for grandparent visitation because her son was deceased and she couldn't see her through him, and Farrah had to show up, show the stories she sold to the tabloids trashing her, show the letter Stomy sent to Soc Sec that Sophia wasn't Derek's, provided proof that she was allowing Sophia to see Derek's dad and (at that time) sister, pointed out Stormy and Derek's drug history, and claimed that she could not trust Stormy around Sophia. The judge agreed and Stormy sold another story trashing Farrah and her parents. 

I realize most of you know that history, but was reading something online a few days ago and it seems like a lot of people who don't follow these people online for the snark value, don't know the trashy history of these girls. What in the world do they do with their spare time? I mean, I don't follow anyone on social media, but read here and they are often linked, along with the online articles about them.

I think Deb mentioned the singles dating site on an episode or an unseen moments episode. I remember because we discussed how she might find herself in a catfish-type situation again.

The only restraining order I recall was when Farrah and Deb discussed Derek. Deb bluntly said he was abusive per Farrah's words.

Farrah dated a guy named Daniel when she first moved to Florida. He appeared on the show for a few episodes. He's the guy who took her to Austin to meet his parents and at dinner, she insulted his stepmother over not having any kids.
