Exactly. Also, I'm sure that the houseguests like having something to do that's not sitting around, waiting for eviction night. Sure, it would be nice if they spread out the comps a little bit (HOH Thursday, temptation competition later on Fridays, veto maybe Sunday, veto ceremony Tuesday), but I also partially understand why it's set up like this. It just sucks when there's a huge gap from Monday's ceremony to Thursday night.

Yea, I wish they would spread stuff out more.

If the hex is used Paul cannot compete in the HOH comp.  Words from AGs mouth.

Beat me to it by a second.

Another interesting part of the article, bolding mine:

Quote

Allison Grodner – For the first time in Big Brother we have a competition that has both a big reward (safety) and a huge risk (instant nomination) to the people who choose to play. It is also exciting to have them make the decision in secret so it is possible that, when the players are revealed, only one person chooses to play and therefore wins safety automatically. This is a season of temptations and there is always a chance that no one chooses to be tempted. The possibility that no one chooses to play is part of the twist and could be an interesting reveal as well.

I like that if only one person chooses to compete that they automatically win. I wonder if they were told that rule? They should've been, but who knows. But honestly I imagine Production really wants that comp for the Sunday ep, so they will do their best to ensure that at least 2 people choose to compete.

Christmas is the only one who wants to play.

Christmas is medically ineligible to play in the comp.

"What the fuck do we do now, guys? She both won and lost."

I can't remember how long ago I saw it, but there was a video posted somewhere that showed Jessica as one of the choices for an escort. There was some other screencap of a man complaining that the website had stopped posting whatever it was they used to post (sports maybe?) and kept advertising their escorts. So someone else linked the video, and that definitely looked like a catalog option. Does anyone know what she supposedly does for a living? I don't care enough to watch her intro video, but that pageant video above made me remember the escort claims and now I'm curious.

Also, I recently had a gastrointestinal flare-up which landed me in the hospital for a few days. Now, the doctor wants to do another gastric emptying test, which is where they feed you eggs with a radioactive additive that shows on the x-rays, and time how long it takes to empty. I am currently on pills and diet for my gastroparesis and he thinks it may be worse, hence the test. The instructions came today, and it is a laundry list of things you can't eat or take in the time periods before the test, because they affect the vagus nerve and slow it down, making the result incorrect. And then it dawned on me how Raven's mom got her a stimulator. Even with the stimulator, she seemed like she was faking but I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I think her mom has convinced her of a lot of the things she says and didn't think they would give her the stimulator without a clear sign from her gastric emptying test. If stepdad is a pill-popper, as alleged, a couple of pain pills in a certain time frame and suddenly Raven's stomach isn't emptying correctly. That's why she eats better, doesn't vomit, has no trouble moving, etc. She may have had GERD which can cause vomiting, and Mom ratcheted it up for attention and money, because she is a scammer extraordinaire.

VIP Concierge.

I know she appeared on TheDirty.com from when she worked for an escort service in Boston but escort doesn't always mean sex. Was that what you were thinking of?

I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope your future tests go well.

Radioactive eggs!? Yikes! Thanks for explaining the emptying test. I wondered but was too lazy (and forgetful)  to google. Hope you're feeling better.

It sounds like Mark won. Elena just told him "Congrats, you're guaranteed jury." She sounds a little snippy.

It might have been the spinning/bowling comp? Mark is still wearing a neon yellow tutu and high socks and it sounds like he asked Paul if he threw up.

Paul is now telling Elena that if she is Paul's "P", don't worry, Josh is going home. Maybe he's reconsidering the Cody/Jessica nom?

Even if he reconsidered them, why would he send Josh home? That dude would do ANYthing for Pau...oh, wait, so would everyone else. Never mind.

But seriously, I doubt Paul doesn't nom Jess and Cody.

If Mark won, I think that makes me happy because it's not something Paul would want.

That's where I'm at. Hoping that at least he has some annoyances on the way to victory.

I'm wondering if he thinks that if Cody and Jessica come off the block, he gets to name replacements? So that's why he's talking about Josh/Elena being blockmates?

So couldn't Paul put up Josh and Elena and then control the Veto ceremony again via Christmas' temptation?

He could.

There will be two random draws for players. If one is Christmas, no need to use the Ring of Replacement. If one of Jessica or Cody get pulled, she can replace one of them. If both Jessica and Cody get pulled, all one of them has to do is win Veto and not use it. I think there's too much risk in that situation for Paul.

Like, what happens if both Jessica and Christmas get pulled in the random draw? She can't replace someone when she's already in the comp.

According to Cody, Paul threw "a fit" when he saw that Matt didn't beat Mark's time. "Unless it was a show."

Nice. I am glad that Paul was pissed. "Wait, the guy who put me up and got me evicted isn't loyal to me?! What the fuck, people? I trusted you all and you betrayed me! Then I blindly trusted you again and you betrayed me again! But now that I am continuing to give you my blind trust, you continue to betray me! Why is this happening?!"
