ha!!! I know and I'll play fair. I think that if someone says "I know something you don't know" and then doesn't follow up with the goods, then they don't deserve to even be believed. I don't believe the holly thing for a minute, but I can't get the ashley thought outta my melon.....

Only reason I'm not mentioning specific names is I got a warning around finals for saying i doubted a source. Anyway...........back on track. Looks like Jenna is auditioning for year 6. Good for her. I still want Erica for point.

So love the insider info here. And all the people here. Mostly because no one I know watches this show! For 11 years I have watched the show alone. Then I saw a comment on amy Simone's page about how blogs speculated that she was kept for ratings. I searched and came across this. I have insider info on my local nfl and nba team because I went to high school/college with them. I wish there was a board like this for them.

Yeah, I appreciate the insider info, especially during training camp. Now, I take the "so and so is a mean girl" takes with a grain of salt because that's kind of in the eye of the beholder. While some people are just awful people, I've known girls who had the rep of being sweet, who I thought were total snakes in the grass, and of course, it goes the other way as well, with the "mean girls" actually not being so mean after all. Regardless, I would rather have the insider info than not.

5. Judy Trammell has a mortal fear of stools and won't go near them. Each year for filming, production has to film her standing with her knees at a 45 degree angle over Kell in front of a green screen (her quads are amazing). The stool and office are added in post-production.

You're saying this is fabricated???  How disappointing :(

Look. The only real insider info I have is as follows:

1. Bess is actually a Mennonite, out on her year long Rumspringa. We will never see nor hear from her after this season. Hope you enjoyed her.

2. Phil (mawnin mawnin ladies ladies ladies) is hidden on the American dollar bill. You have to really look, but he's there.

3. Charlotte Jones-Anderson and Billy Ocean had a brief marriage in the 80s. It was annulled quietly.

4. Courtney Cook started Black Lives Matter.

5. Judy Trammell has a mortal fear of stools and won't go near them. Each year for filming, production has to film her standing with her knees at a 45 degree angle over Kelli in front of a green screen (her quads are amazing). The stool and office are added in post-production.

6. Kitty Carter did the voice of Skeletor in the 1980s He-Man series.

Well, that's it. These are facts*. And I can't change them. My sources have all dried up so I don't know what's up anymore. But there ARE some of us out there that used to have the real inside scoop.**

*these are not facts

DEAD.

So I'm curious about the post that said Jenna's dad choreographed for Michael Jackson. On her Insta she had a pic thanking him for birthday flowers. I googled his name. Found this on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1507947/bio#overview

He TAUGHT MICHAEL TO MOONWALK. Say what now? I think if my dad did that, I'd have it tattooed somewhere. MY DAD TAUGHT MICHAEL TO MOONWALK.

I'd love to see some clips of him dancing.

He was a dancer on the tv show "Solid Gold", so maybe if you look that up on YouTube.  I saw a pic of him on her Instagram account and I remember him from the show.  Yes, I admit it - I watched "Solid Gold" and loved it:)

Saturday night in the 70s was as follows:

6pm Dance Fever with Denny Terrio

7pm Solid Gold

8pm Love Boat

9pm Fantasy Island

Best. Lineup. Ever. Except for Friday nights which was: Wonder Woman, Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas and then eventually Falcon Crest.

Late 70's TV shows were awesome

hahahah!!! The Kitty Carter one is my favorite. Or maybe Judy standing like a dog's back leg for hours on end. I dunno.

The Judy and the stool (or no stool) part was what sent me over the edge. Where do you come up with this stuff?!

I'm surprised no one has commented on how good Amy looks in the picture you posted. She looks like she's lost weight. Even her face is slimmer.

If so then Jenna’s dad was a dancer on Soul Train.  Don Cornelius tells the story in the VH-1 doc that Michael saw it done by one of the dancers and asked to have the dancer teach it to him.

I thought that Jenna would decide to come back for another season, and I can't say that I am unhappy about that decision.  She is young, greatly invested in the DCC, and likely does not want to have the regret of missing a probable Super Bowl season (and win!) next year.  I agree with several posters that Jenna has come across as a bit more insecure this year than I remember her being in the past, I say that mostly because of all the social media posts.  Perhaps that is attributable to the rumored, brief fling with a player.  A breakup with a man can be hard on the ego, and I have seen it push many women to the edge of desperation and insecurity (man, look what your you are missing sort of photos).  Jenna should forget whatever did or did not happen, move on, and focus on her talent in dance, her great and many friendships, and the fun she will have as one of the squad's leaders next year.  All of that should give her a great deal of confidence.  We have your back Jenna.

Simone Collett is one DCC we rarely hear from, or about, but she is growing into her look and confidence as a DCC.  She posted herself dancing in a prep class, and she is so good.

The Dallas night life scene is so small and Dallas is honestly the smallest big city I've ever lived in - everyone seems to be connected by one or two people.

Jenna and Dak probably met out one night, hit it off, and I wouldn't blame Jenna one bit for keeping it on the DL for a hot second while they explored if anything else was there. Rules are rules, but she had a few months left on her contract versus a few year's potential with by all accounts a pretty awesome guy, maybe worth waiting it out. And that's leaving out any gold digger potential bc I want to think she's better than that.

I saw this video a few days ago, and I have to be honest, it's really hot and cold for me. She really pops on some of the steps, and on others she seems soft. I'm not a dancer by any means, but I guess in my head I'm comparing it  to some of the other girls who I've watched do the same choreography and Simone doesn't quite measure up for me. In fact, Stephanie, who isn't even in frame for most of the video, was drawing my attention away from Simone. However, I do really like Simone and am glad she's on the team even if she's not the best dancer in the room. She's in my opinion one of the most facially gorgeous girls they have, and has such a fun and cute personality.

I don't think Simone looks bad, but agree that stephanie (di biase and Larson) and Kelli have more "pop" than her. Simone is a nice girl with a sweet personality but I don't think she is the best dance wise.

Yes, exactly. I think she's a good dancer but she doesn't stand out for me.

I thought I read somewhere that if a DCC is out (at a club or bar) and player comes in, they leave. Or did I make that up?

I had to google her with "DCC" at the end. She disappears for me. But then, I still don't remember who Bess is, and you all have tried to show me like, five times.

BESS is the one with brown hair and brown eyes. TESS is the one with brown eyes and brown hair. GOSH GET IT RIGHT WOMAN.

  • Love 8

I remember Bess because she's the one who lived with Maddie during the first year they were training camp. The show featured them in one episode. Of course, they introduced her as Elizabeth, and it took me like a year to know that Bess and Elizabeth was the same person.

Also, I remember Tess because she was one of the one who Kitty made do that weird heel-toe walk during training camp.

Yes, Jenna used this as her "interesting fact" on the first meeting night of her rookie season.

Ugh - so did Jenna just randomly say "J/K, I am coming back!"?  Curious why she decided to change her mind ... perhaps she was annoyed at not going to pro bowl so to spite K+J, she "retired"?  And now she's regretting it?

But curious why the changing mind.  She was never a favorite of mine but this year, I'm especially meh on her.

Bummed Danielle is retiring.  I'm sure it's a drain on her life but I was hoping she would do another year.  Sigh ... it seems so worth it.

I think Trisha came back for another because a lot of her friends were trying out again, and her sister was also coming back for another year. Crystal's husband was in the military at the time, and Crystal might had to move to join her husband after she left the team. She probably wanted to spend time with Crystal while they were in the same area.

Maddie's combo actually looks fairly difficult. You have to have a lot of control to do those isolations and also change levels and speed so quickly without being all over the place.

She still gets on my nerves, but she is about 1000x better than she was her first audition year. I thought she was overrated and didn't finish moves, bad extensions, etc. She's improved all over, and really good at this jazzy hip hop style.

good to know ... I was just thinking that it looked easy but I'm no dancer so will take your word for it!  I'm not in love with her but I do get super amazed when comparing her to the Maddie of 2 years ago (or whenever it was that she tried out).  She looks so different!  Wow what a difference a year makes!

Same. The only thing "difficult" that I could see about it is that it's not on the traditional "1 and 2 and 3 and 4" basic beat that people are used to seeing.

Look closer - she has a lot of really specific isolations, changes levels, changes speed, etc. That takes a lot of control to not look like you're flailing around or just doing stripper rolls. Someone not as advanced would make it look really messy and all over the place. This is much harder than the 1234 really sharp, straight pom moves, or even ballet/lyrical moves where you pretty much know how you're going to execute everything technique wise.
