Just had to post but my local team, the Gonzaga Bulldogs JUST MADE THE FINAL FOUR!!!!!   I think this is a first in team history.  They've made the Elite 8 a few times, the Sweet 16 more than a few times, and have made it to the tournament, even more times, but WOO FREAKING HOO!  Final Four here we come!!!!  I don't watch the games of local teams like the Zags and the Seahawks because I don't want to jinx anything.  Well, that and I don't have cable.  I'm not a fan of nail-biting games, too much can go wrong.

YES!!! So glad you like it! Such a wonderful show. Really don't know what to expect with the change from BBC 1 to Channel 4 but guess we'll have to wait and see. Paul Hollywood lives about 20 mins from my house, I used to work in a restaurant and I served him once ?

omg that would be equal parts amazing and terrifying lol  He is really interesting, and I love the way they'd talk through things together and give a sense for what was good and *why* it was good.  Just such an amazing series, I'm hoping it picks up well in its new home but I just can't imagine the show without Mel and Sue - they *were* the show in so many ways.

happy Monday girls!  Is anyone else besides me totally exhausted?  I've discovered a new show on Netflix that I binged on this weekend (sadly there is only one season and I'm not sure it's returning).  It's a docu-series on competitive cheerleading called Cheer Squad.  Anyone else a fan??

So exhausted.  Why do I never feel well rested enough to brave the work week?

I know what you mean, @tobeyoungagain.  I didn't have a problem this past 15 months, but now, on the one hand, I REALLY don't want to go to work because TPTB are changing everything up on us without telling us what's going on until RIGHT before the weekend and on the other, I REALLY want to go because I not only really LIKE the people, I love the work and the atmosphere and the decision makes me exhausted just to think about it.

SOOOO beat!  Even though it's been a couple weeks, I'm still blaming the "spring ahead" time change, which usually takes me forever to get accustomed to.  Could we please just pick a time and stay there?????

You guys ever have people in your lives who are so batsht crazy?  They love to make chaos out of nothing and make everything a bigger deal than it needs to be.  They love to get angry and even if it doesn't warrant it, they will stir things up or make a situation 50x worst than it needs to be just so they can be angry or just so they can make it a bigger deal than need be.  It's actually borderline ridiculous.  Do you guys know anyone like that?

This is going to sound awful but sometime I look at her and I think .. dmn, this is why people disparagingly say women are too emotional smh

I watched Cheer Squad! I thought they did a good job of balancing the cheer side and the girl's personal lives. I hope it gets a second season

Me too!  I binge watched it hard!  It was so good - I loved how it wasn't super over the top dramatic and how it highlighted the girls.  I didn't even know that the world champion of cheer came from Canada (or at least that division).  Interesting how these girls decide to cheer professionally or competitively instead of for their colleges or high schools

Oh Slate, the cheerleader Knoxy?  I thought she looked so similar to Whitney Isleib!  Am I crazy?  She looked like a younger version!

Anyone have any favorite snacks or food items from Trader Joes?  I'm sitting here eating one of my beloved items -- the Unexpected Cheddar Cheese is what I think it's called.  It's a cross btw cheddar and parm cheese.  Super delicious and very affordable.  Toss that in with some salami and crackers and mmmmmmmmm

All TJ needs to provide is a jam or fig spread of sorts to go with it!  Anyone else like jam or fig spread with cheese / crackers?

Can I go home now???

Anyone watching Big Little Lies? Holy shit that show is good. No spoilers please.

It's been on my list of things to watch ever since it premiered, but I just haven't gotten around to it because I'm stuck in a constant loop of watching my favorite shows that I've already seen (currently "Dr. Who"). Glad to hear that you like it. All I've seen about it are professional reviews, and real world opinions are always nice.

I actually just came on to ask if anyone here watches "Girls." My sister got me into it back in season 1, and I can't seem to break the habit even though I pretty much loathe all of the characters. It's such a vapid and indulgent show and doesn't reflect well on millennials at all (I am one, lol), yet I remain hooked. What is wrong with me?

The last few episodes of Girls have been the best (imo) of the series. Loving it!  I've loathed at least one of the characters in every episode ?.

You know it's funny because right after I made that post I watched the episode where Hannah goes over to the writer's house and they face off about the article she wrote about him, and I thought it was actually a really excellent episode. Maybe the girls are actually going to grow up a little this season.

Looks like she deleted her account. ? All of my PMs with her show up "deleted member" at the top and the messages show they come from "guest." I have my reasons to believe she's still among us on a different account though. Moni, if you're out there, we miss you! Pm me. ?

Okay @woodscommaelle you were so right. I've been binging on "Girls" this afternoon and I've watched everything except the most recent episode. This season is so good! I still despise Marnie, but Hannah is seemingly growing up. I need more Shosh -- she's always been my favorite and there've been a disappointingly small number of Shosh sightings this season. I'm feeling like a romantic rekindling is possibly being set up for her and Ray. Anyway, I'll shut up. My very best friend (her name is Hannah, heh) who I usually talk about "Girls" with hasn't started the season yet, and my sister is too busy being a mom and stuff. ?

I am actually fascinated by Marnie simply for the fact that I don't 'think' I know anyone like her (even remotely) in my life.

Shosh is great.  I'm ok with her and Ray just being friends.

Jessa and Adam make me cringe. They're doing VERY WELL in their roles.

I love Shosh and Ray as friends, but I also wouldn't be upset if the endgame was them being together. I think they work. Either outcome would be acceptable.

I liked Jessa and Adam together at first, but they've definitely turned a bit volatile and it's hard to watch. Very curious how that is going to be wrapped up in only three more episodes.

I'm watching the most recent episode now and the musical theater nerd in me freaked out over Andrew Rannells singing the song from "Smash." I adore him, and "Smash" was a guilty pleasure of mine when it was airing.

Kind of off topic but i love watching gymnastics! All I can really watch is SEC, and I love LSU, but I'd love to see Oklahoma since they're ranked #1

I'm a UCLA fan. I started watching them more this year knowing Maddie Kocian and Kyla Ross were on the team. I follow the team on snapchat and they have a really good glance into what practices are like for NCAA gymnastics.

That's awesome, I've seen some of their meets online. I feel like everyone expects then to get 10's constantly since they were Olympians, but they're just freshman!

I know, Kyla is doing great though. Maddie started off strong and hit a peak, but she's rallying back. She did a great bars routine at regionals.

I just love seeing former national team members doing so well in NCAA, especially the girls who tried for an Olympic games and didn't make it. Maggie and Mykayla are doing great as well.

I dislike Mykayla ugh she's getting on my nerves. She hasn't stayed very humble and I hate when people get a big head. I'm super happy for Maggie though. I was hoping she'd make the Olympics but then she got hurt =/

Mykayla is def not my favorite, but I love her floor routine. I wish her Utah coaches would knock her down a peg lol. These girls work so hard their entire life to MAYBE make an Olympic team and its great to see them go on and still do great, just not on a international stage. It's also cool to see girls like Regan try for another 4 years.

Her floor routine is awesome since she kept some olympic elements. The judges have been overscoring her though.

I'm super impressed with Katelyn Ohashi, she's dong good with UCLA. I remember when she won the 2013 American cup and then disappeared (injuries I think). Shame because I think she could made a good run for Rio, probably even made the team. I just love her on beam, and I want her to compete her two to full so bad.

I love Kate. I want her to compete the full too, but they've been leaving it out since she got the 10 with a layout. Did you see her nasty fall on the dismount at regionals?

no ? what happened?

Her foot slipped at the end of the beam and she fell practically on her chest.

@heatherrrrz they clearly made the wrong decision.  I hope you get the job you deserve and desire one day soon.   (Actually, the Cowboys organization should hire you for their media and public relations department.  Goodness knows some of the players and cheerleaders could use a good writer and great fan like you as their publicist.)

Sorry to hear that. :( Are you applying for other jobs? Indeed.com is a really good tool if you're not utilizing it already. You can apply for jobs, and people will also reach out to you for interviews from putting your resume on there. Good luck! ?

Aw thanks. I appreciate it. I'd die to get a job with the Cowboys.

I actually put my resume out on there just in case. I've been here 2 and a half years and it's gotten me no where. They were like "don't underestimate your friendliness and dependability." I understand going with the candidate who has years of experience before me, but literally every guy got a promotion last year even someone who had been working here less than 6 months.

Looks like Tony Romo is retiring and is looking into doing broadcasting work. He could stay with the Cowboys and work with their broadcasting team. I would love to see his wife being a judge again.

Could be how he and Kelli met?  Don't think I've ever heard that story.
