So, James' big stressor is that his parents are splitting up.  He's 23. Their divorce, no matter how much he'd like it to be, is not about him. He's not the center of their universe (at least not any longer) and that fact is seemingly causing him to spiral downward, drink huge amounts of Fireball, abuse drugs, have indiscriminate sex,

Sorry, Snowflake. Your parents getting a divorce is not about you. Refresh my memory again. How long has it been since you lived home? How old are you?

I can understand an 8 y/o blaming himself for his parents splitting up. But this guy? Not so much.

OK, so outta curiosity, I just checked Stassi's Twitter.  Wanna see what she says about last nite's WWHL?

https://twitter.com/stassischroeder?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author

Wait, did we see that forgettable chick Kristina for a half a sec on this ep?  She seems to be the only one Stassi talks to of any of the chiucklefucks.  I gather from her Twitter she does a podcast.  Um, OK.  And she barely mentions Patrick.  Last Instagram pic with him was from nearly 2 months ago.  Seems like she still hates everyone on VR & she makes a living from doing some podcast.  Um, can you make a living that way?

Her Twitter isn't even interesting enough to be boring. If she never shows up this season I can't say that I'll be sad.

I finally figured out why James Kennedy is so messed up. I don't know where the surname 'Kennedy' came from because his mother Jackie Georgiou was married to James' father Andros Georgiou. Jackie is first cousin to 80's singer George Michael. Andros was manager of Wham when George Michael was part of the duo along with Andrew RIdgeley.

Okay, so now those people partied and they partied hard in the 80's. George Michael was godfather to James as he's said a few times. Then things went bad, something happened and George Michael and his manager Andros Georgiou had a falling out and severed ties with each other. George Michael never stopped partying and his drug use became heavier going from marijuana, to drink to coke and eventually becoming a serious crack cocaine addict. He's been in a very expensive rehab for more than a year under the insistence of his cousin Jackie.  So, it's not a mystery as to why James is so messed up in his head and I wouldn't be shocked if he was high on crack or alcohol most of the time too.

Wow. I wanted to read Adriana's blog for this episode (because I find them fascinating) and somehow landed on one that addressed several points in my reeeeallllly old post in her thread. She even ended it "live long and and prosper." Holla girl!

No, I'm not dogging on Ariana for not wanting Tom to go to Vegas. I'm dogging on her for playing "Amy" all while calling Kristen "basic" and "crazy". (Not that Kristen wasn't crazy, but I'm not a big fan of the new girlfriend bashing the old girlfriend.)

I really hope this season ends how Gone Girl ended because that would be excellent. You want to go to Vegas Tom? You're going to pay for that Amy Duane style.

Thanks for the info.  I did look up & see James' mom's name is def NOT Jacqueline Kennedy.  Drats, that woulda been a hoot.  James said on WWHL he hasn't seen or spoken to George in years, so there must be something behind that.  Poor George looks really horrible now.  He aged so terribly.  He is ONLY 52.  Just a reminder, Millennials, 52 is not ancient.  It's still relatively young in the scheme of life.  If George looks this awful at 52, what in Holy Hell could Jax end up looking like by that age -- that is, after his 700th nose job?

I watched a rerun of the LaLa/James WWHL. What did it sound like, for those of you who watched it live? Did the curse words come through? They bleeped entire sentences in the rerun.

(ducking) I thought James seemed slightly less repulsive on WWHL.

Imo, LaLa's singing is much better than Scheana's but still not that fantastic. But maybe it was James's idiotic song that I was reacting to.

From the podcast that aired the morning (yes, that's an early bird Coors Light) after the disastrous WWHL and the one in which Lala talks excessively about how hot she is. I just don't see it. Though her muppet coat indicates she may have skinned James, which, plus.

He really is being quite ridiculous. Maybe he can consult Tamra Barney and find some "adult children of divorce" support group.

I agree, Jame's parents breaking up and he is 23 and presumably no longer lives with them, this shouldn't be causing him to have a downward spiral. I feel like once you are 18 and living away from your parents, this kind of stuff shouldn't affect you to the point of freaking out like this. If anything, he should have been consoling his mother, this is harder for her than it is for you, James. The fact that his mom had to go over to him and wipe his tears away, HOW OLD ARE YOU JAMES? I thought I had missed something during that scene and thought she had said something else before he broke down. But seriously, obviously something is going on with his parents and not him for them to finally break up now, so maybe ask your mom how she's doing. He is SUCH A CHILD.

Anyways.. I miss Stassi more than ever. I don't have time to watch the James/Lala/Jax show. I know I said I liked it when these people acted like idiots and I do, I hated the episodes that focused on the terrible intervention for Shay and shopping for Katie's engagement ring and watching Adulting by Tom And Arainia, because that isn't why I'm here, but the stuff I wanna see is fighting and stupid hookup drama of course, I don't want to see it by Lala and James. They clearly cannot hold this show. Lala  Kent is no Stassi Schroeder and James cannot be a leading man for any of this.

To be fair to Ariana, her parents broke up first when she was a kid. Then got back together and had her brother. Something tells me they were not always happy.

Right. I got the impression that there was some "off and on" stuff going on there. It doesn't paint the portrait of a happy, stable relationship - and I can see what that might sour someone on marriage.

And I'm not saying that adults who live outside of the home can't be AT ALL upset if their parents divorce. They're still your parents. You love them. Family gatherings won't be the same. I get it. But to cause you to "downword spiral"? No. Just take a seat.

I had to take my dogs to Beverly Hills to get their teeth cleaned and I'm sitting at a table waiting for my lunch and I hear someone say "for me Vanderpump Rules is just a stepping stone." So of course I looked over and it is Peter. I can't tell if he grew his ponytail back or not as his hair is pulled back tight. I never recognize people when I'm out and about and have been sitting here for about 15 minutes and wouldn't have noticed had he not said vpr. I'm totally eaves dropping now.

Yeah, I mean, be upset, but him crying about him really made me mad. Only because the self-absorbed jerk didn't ask how his Mom, the one who is breaking up with her husband is doing! And also, I don't know... the fact he talking heads about all of this is causing him to drink a lot just makes me think he is using the fact that his parents breaking up is an easy way to be all, "this is why I'm doing these things". I'm not sure if I buy it.

I see a very bright future for the two Toms, but not as "brand ambassadors", something more like this at age 50.

Doubtful. Sandoval can't flip the bottle without dropping it in the opening credits, and Schwartz can't even make a drink without having stage fright anxiety attack. Plus, they might need to work on weekdays or weekends or summers...

I wasn't sitting right next to them, my table was across the aisle so I was a good 8 feet away from Peter and the patio was kind of loud, so not ideal eaves dropping conditions, but from what I could hear it was pretty boring. Something about season 5, something about season 3 ratings being great, and something about someone "dropping a grand out of pocket" to send Peter, FI, and Ariana somewhere for a weekend. Then he mostly talked about various projects he was working on with his partner and some indie flick he was trying to get financed. It was fairly boring crap you overhear anywhere in LA. He did mention someone being really annoying. I didn't catch who, but it was during the vpr part of his conversation, so I'd like to think it was James.

I seriously never recognize anyone, especially without context. Like I get confused watching movies because I can't keep the characters straight from scene to scene half the time. I barely recognize family memebers. I am the worst. My only known sightings are when other people point it out to me or there's a ton of paparazzi. The only other person I have ever recognized out and about on my own is Dana/Pam from RHOB and it took me a good half hour to realize she wasn't someone I knew from work.  ETA: I have seen lots of famous people not in the wild (usually for work), but since I know who they are going into it, I don't think it counts as a sighting.

I live close to Kim from RHWATL/whatever her other show is called...and see her quite often (kids go to the same school, etc).  The baristas at Starbucks freak right out when they see her and she really seems to handle it well...she's just living her life when she's not on camera, I guess.

I don't get what the end-game for the VR peeps is going to be.  There can't be a "next step" for any of them until they make a first one...and waiting tables isn't likely to be it.

I'd bet that every single one of the VPR cast believes or believed that this show will help advance their budding acting or singing careers. But truthfully, none of them have any real talents. To me they all seem like a bunch of high school kids acting in a school play.

Peter wants to direct or produce or maybe both.  At least from what I could hear.

I just now remembered that he was talking about how a lot of famous people are fans of VPR and he name dropped Jennifer Lawrence and seemed a little bummed that he wasn't working when she came in to SUR.  I think his point was a lot of people know them from the show now and they are kind of famous, so maybe that will help with their careers.  He also talked about how he knew talented people that were not celebrities and celebrities that were not talented, but then my waitress came over and I missed the rest.

I had already forgotten that episode! Maybe the cast of VPR could do a remake of Boogie Nights? Lisa Vanderpump as Jack Horner, Scheana and Shay in the William Macy/Nina Hartley couple roles, Jax as Todd Parker, Katie as Amber Waves, Staasi as Rollergirl....

Oh I know for a fact that these people think/thought that this show would make them famous. I know this for a few reasons. One, being that most people who sign up to do a reality show in this decade are clearly doing a reality show to get some sense of fame. Two, as a person who only got into Vanderpump rules by accident at the tail end of the second season, my mind is still fresh from when I then decided this show is awesome and I must watch all seasons, in the first season almost all of the cast members and Lisa talked about how pretty and talented they all were and how they all wanted to be some sort of celeb.  There were episodes in which the cast were like viewing a movie made by Peter and starring FI. And 3rd, having never been to LA, I would expect that probably not all residents want to be famous but a lot of people do, so it's not surprising to me that these people thought their lives would be different. For me, it's more or less why people sign up for a reality show, and while I know, nothing is "real" on reality show, the shows used to be a bit different. For the record, as much as I loved The Hills and Laguna Beach back in the day, I Really blame those shows for this scripted reality. Even back in the day, old school RWs thought they would become famous too.

On a side note: I don't see how these people think putting your problems on tv is going to get you a job. Shay with his new pills problem is probably not going to have people gunning for him to be their music producer. And I'm sorry to James but being a DJ in the lounge at SUR is not.. going to get him anywhere. I mean, really?

As wrong as James was to spit on the door, it´s still way worse to lie and say that he spit on her-Kristen. I think it would be fair to say that people would have been a little shocked at that, no need to take it a step further by lying. But I guess that is just typical Kristen. I can´t feel sorry for her, she´s been more awful than anybody, not saying she´s not fun to watch though. James just didn´t deserve it after what he put up with and saw coming from her, and he´s still a dumb kid. 3-5 generations ago he would have been considered an idiot but these days it´s rare to see anyone grown up before age 25, I mean Jax is surely taking his time and I wonder if he´ll ever get there.

I'm clearly in the minority, but hearing James talking about his parents' divorce made me sympathize with him for probably the first time this season. My parents split up when I was 24, and honestly, I completely fell apart for the better part of a year.  It was infinitely harder on all of us than I would have guessed it would be. And actually, I know a few other people who were young adults when their parents divorced and most have felt the same way.

Not that it gives him an excuse to be a revolting human being. Five minutes after I was feeling sorry for him he spat on Kristin's door and was dead to me again. Working out well for Kristin, though. She's looking grounded and reasonable in comparison...this is probably her best season yet.  (Not that she had many places to go but up).

The problem I have with James and his parents breaking up is that it's just a handy excuse for him to excuse away all his behavior. It just seems too easy for him to be all, "I have so much more important stuff going on in my life!" which while true, it seems way too easy to use that excuse. That's just my feeling.

Wondering where is the best place to put this- which VPR star are you?

BTW, Kristen's was "You don't care about other people's feelings, but you care a lot about your own..." LOL.

Katie's was, "You prefer to remain silent and let your BFF do the dirty work for you."

Sounds accurate I suppose!

Has Stassi's reappearance been confirmed?

James is out of control. I DO think he's worse than Jax. That's saying A LOT. The spitting on the door was disgusting, and yes it was Jax that changed it to "spitting on Kristen."

Well, I'm clearly not the target for Stassi's podcast, which I assume is for millennial straight girls.  And I don't have the patience or interest to listen to Stassi.  But please report back & let us know if she comments on the chucklefucks.  Her comments did sometimes give me a giggle.  I can see her hating James & oddly enough, she seems to be now friendly with Kristen.  I am a teeny bit curious about that.

Right??? I'm not saying I can speak for the world at large, but I'd guess most people hate watch/snark watch this show.

Believe it or not, I'm not hate-watching.  At least not yet.  The chucklefuck Toms gave me a belly laugh.  I was wondering whether I'd throw out some idiot clowns who came to my office with a proposal & they were similarly so woefully unprepared & stammering their way thru.  See, I don't think I would.  I'd probably be asking them more questions, which useless Pandy & her hot piece hubby weren't especially doing.  I mean, yeah, they were asking some questions, but meh, I'm not impressed by either of those 2.  Why?  Cuz they're not impressive.  Pandy would be nowhere without mumsy Lisa.  And the hot piece would be working some other rich people's fugly daughter.

At least the chucklefuck Toms gave me a laugh.  Meh to Pandy & her hot piece.  But sheesh, I ALWAYS think meh when I see Pandy coming on cam.  Pandy's hot piece on the other hand?  Oh my goodness, when I see him, I think yummers.  They sure can keep him around, but he really doesn't need to speak.  He adds nothing, other than looking like a hot piece -- but that is an important quality to add to this show.  Especially given that I'd much rather look at him than at Jax's sweaty, bloated, gorilla mug.

My parents have done this my entire life and they just celebrated their 40th. It's so annoying and infuriating. Even worse is when you bitch about one of them to the other, you get a "don't say that about your father/mother. If you only knew..." I have been saying since I was 11 or 12 that none of this was my damn business and they needed to find some friends.

Review, please?

I got the rose. It was light. A little fizzy. It's indescribably fruity. Like I really couldn't tell you what"fruit juice" they added to the wine. I will say that Sandoval was right on the money when he said it wasn't overly sweet. It's decently balanced if I could figure out the fruit. Though my grocery clearly doesn't think much of it because the shelf tag listed it as Skinny Girl. I don't know if I would buy it again, but I tend to like to make my own sangria.
