Some Hall of Famers on that list.

Johnny Unitas threw 20 interceptions and still won.

If you don't throw, you can't win games.  Sometimes bad things will happen (okay 2 out of 3 chances) but you don't win games by not taking chances.   Its how the team reacts after throwing the interception that matters.

I was expecting a 0-0 tie, so yay to the Panthers for scoring so the poor Germany fans aren’t bored to tears.

The Germans are used to watching sporting events that end 0-0, don't worry about them.

I grew up on US Army bases in Germany, I've always wondered how much of the audience for the NFL overseas games is local military.  My dad would have loved it.

Not sure what to make of this Rams team, or Miami.  Feels like the Dolphins will escape, or they don't.  If the latter happens, probably a 2-point loss because people can't have nice things.

On a difference note, I don't even think it would've been possible for Favre or Winston to average 5 INT in a quarter.  Upon seeing that, I had to look at the list before coming to the conclusion that it's all time.  That list is rather poorly put together.  Not hard if you read it right, but it can be put together much better I think.

Thank you, Miami Dolphins!  If you don't live in or near Florida you may not be aware, but we have been redeemed after this weekend. 🤣

Speaking of INTs…

This showed up on my X-feed.  Of course, Chiefs Kingdom loves this guy for beating the Patriots on the last game of the 2019 season so as to vault us to the 2nd seed & a bye (an event also known as the “Kevin Harlan Calls Two Games” Game):

That was a very fantastic week, loved seeing that.  New England looked like their 2007 version by wrecking everything on a weekly basis, before one of the now-current dominating teams turned the tables on them.  Probably some level of payback for Fitz.

Though I guess it came full circle since the team he was on 4 years prior blew it.  I probably would've felt bad for them in an alternate universe; I also feel a little sad that he never joined New England for a minute just because

For me, the reaction one gives when they say "Oh Well" such as hands in the air & the shoulder shrug was the move.  Although those are anything but pleasant, I'm not losing sleep over it.  Injuries are part of the game.  Nothing is guaranteed, and the world didn't end.

The NFL is really sucking with scheduling this year.

We get Ravens/Steelers at 1 p.m even though that's ALWAYS a big draw.   It rates a 4:25 game AT LEAST.

Then the Lions are also on at 1.   Granted they are playing Jacksonville, but they knew LAST YEAR the Lions would be worth watching this year.

Then KC/Bills at 4:25 which is decent but again, this is a top draw game of the teams that go against each other in the playoffs for the AFC title regularly.

Why this schedule?

So we could get Bengals/Chargers tonight (yawn) and Texans/Dallas on Monday (it's going to be ugly)

I remember when both Ravens/Steelers games were treated as if they were that damn important.  In other words, Nantz would get one of them, and then NBC/SNF would get the other.  Not to disrespect Ian Eagle, but there was enough time to move off of an early kickoff as the Steelers aren't that last place team everyone thought they'd be.  Literally speaking, they still could end up there, but there's really only one way, featuring a lot that has to happen.

Meanwhile, mathematically speaking I think Cincinnati can still end up in 1st place, but when it's no longer a possibility they are very much alive in the playoff hunt.  Probably not with a loss.  Feels like the league thinks that the Bengals will rise and the Steelers will falter (as do I), at least to some degree, but currently Pittsburgh is very good and the Bengals record says otherwise.  I still think Cincinnati is overlooked.  With a solid defense they'd be in a much better spot.

I'm okay with the schedule today, but I agree that the NFL schedule this year is horrible.  For starters, if people are going to compare Mahomes/Allen and even Mahomes/Burrow to Manning/Brady (spoiler alert: there is no comparison), at least put them on Sunday Night Football one time.  I think Tony Romo has called all of the games featuring those matchups.  Pretty annoying that the league didn't flex here & put Kansas City/Buffalo at 8:20 Eastern.  No way CBS wasn't protecting this game.

One thing I disagree is the Lions/JAX game.  That belongs at 1:00.  Given the dominance from Detroit, I think I need for them to do that today.  Time to put Peterson out of his misery

Oh, I'm going to enjoy that game on Monday Night. Especially seeing some very sad Cowboys fans & Jerry Jones being very very sad in his suite. That always puts a smile on my face. He deserves that at a minimum.

Did the Chiefs - Bills play each other in the regular season last season? I think they did & the Bills won that game. Of course. that game meant nothing at the end because they fail to beat the Chiefs where it really counts in the Playoffs. It'll probably be the same outcome today & in the upcoming Playoffs if they meet again.

The Colts - Jets play today at 1pm. Zzzzz..... Hopefully, these losers in green will find a way to fall flat on their faces to the sorry Colts.

I know everybody's going to say the Jags are terrible, but Detroit did exactly what a SB aspirant is supposed to do to a terrible team: Destroy them.

And somehow they only have a one game lead in the division. How the Vikings are 8-2 I don't know(playing the AFC South helps), but I'll take it.

The Packers somehow managed to steal a win over da Bears.  The play calling by Matt LaFleur was terrible.  But is there any more delightful sound than the double thud when it's your team blocking the kick?

What a gut punch for Chicago.  So much worse than the Hail Mary game.

My Steelers are the worst 8-2 team in the NFL. Then again, I’d rather be lucky than good.

I'd like to think that they among the best 8-2 teams in the NFL (currently 4 teams in that spot).  But out of the rest of the teams that are .800 as of Week 11, they are in 4th place

Maybe Josh Allen should have slid down at the one yard line?

They were only up by 2.  You don't want to risk a fumble or a bad snap.  But I'm sure it never crossed his mind as he pinballed into the end zone!

We’re watching NBC and Maria says “how did the Bills beat the Chiefs?” and I said “well, Maria, when the gun sounded, the Bills had 30 and the Chiefs had 21”.  The hubby, who is a football fan but not a FAN, was like why did you say there is a gun?

I told him that the officials used to shoot a starter pistol at the end of every quarter.  He had never heard of that, so of course I fell into the rabbit hole of finding out when that ended (1994) and reading interesting stories about the practice (such as one team of officials didn’t have a pistol, and a cop helpfully offered up his .357 Magnum “but make sure you shoot it up in the air”.  The officials politely declined).

What is up with the AFC North  kickers this season ?  McPherson & Tucker keep missing.  The Browns only know how to score FGs, and the Steelers won with only FGs today?

I think it’s weird that Tucker keeps missing when he’s never missed before. I hope he’s doing okay both physically and mentally.

Yay Bills! Too bad I was on a flight and didn’t get to enjoy it, but that win is useless if they can’t beat them in the playoffs.

As a Bill's fan, I'm glad to say we managed to beat the chiefs. Now if we can beat them in a playoff game that would be amazing.

Was Tay Tay there?  If not, the Chiefs will blame her for them losing. 🤣

I'm not sure, they never showed her on the TV if she was there.

She's not dragging herself to a regular season game in Buffalo.

Aaron Rodgers is probably hoping for a position (deputy HHS secretary?) in the new administration, right?  He's so checked out now I can't imagine he's planning to play after this season, and it wouldn't be shocking if he has to sit because of some "injury".

He is definitely high on the list of NFL players who has damaged his legacy to the point that some people are going to remember him for his last 4 years than what happened previously.

Can't root for any team coached by Harbaugh.

Same.  I was listening to Mike and Chris announce the game last night and they are talking about Harbaugh like he was this great coach and every shady thing that happened at Michigan never happened. I didn't like him before he was at Michigan but now I just flat out despise him.

Not the first game Boswell has put up the only Steeler points in a game.

I want no attention paid to him.  Not even showing him sad in his suite.   Deprive him of the adrenaline rush being noticed gives him.   If people start ignoring the Cowboys SOMETHING will have to change.  Hopefully, its him at GM since its not giving him the ego boost he needs.

She's also back out on tour..Though her tour was in Toronto, she  wasn't that far from Buffalo.

In other news ...The Daniel Jones Era seems to be over .

I hardly saw TS last week when Kansas City hosted Buffalo.  Probably the first time starting last Sunday for what it's worth.  We might be in the era where she's not getting highlighted as much.  Which really started to die down anyway this year (both season and calendar).

The thing is similar to the Dallas Cowboys: the (sports) media is stopping at nothing in terms of highlighting the stars every chance & second they've got.  What's different is that one doesn't need the media's focus to be successful & epic.

I think this is the 3rd time he's done so in less than a decade.  Chris already hit six FGs this season to open the year.  It's the first time at their home stadium, I believe.  Coincidentally (or not) the same score of 18-16 from back when, which was their most recent playoff victory.  As mentioned, Pittsburgh might be sending a message of sorts to Kansas City.

The Steelers used to play the Chiefs a ton before the Mahomes era.  Since then, they've met a quarter dozen times since Patrick became the starter.  This year's team appears much better than those other ones.

That being said, if six field goals account for the total points scored by the black and gold when they meet, they're going to lose the game.  Yes they have a very good to great defense, but so does Kansas City (unlike the Ravens).  They're not going to alter their offense scheme like Baltimore does against teams with decent defenses.

While disliking a Harbaugh is easier than spelling the word C-A-T (or the other 3 letter pet), I still respect the guy.  What happened at Michigan was not cool, but I hardly think he's done that throughout his career.  Stanford and San Francisco, along with the Chargers were all dumpster fires before he got there.  Now Michigan is total crap, along with Stanford.  The Niners were too before Bosa and CMC got there.

There are a ton of lousy coaches in the sport.  Like, a boatload.  I guess I prefer winners & not losers.  Otherwise I'd be a Cowboys fan.  Or purchase Jets/Browns merchandise.

I don't think he did it throughout his career.  But I don't think the fact he did do it at Michigan should be excused because he is a good coach.
