"Corbin Bleu" just makes me think of chicken cordon bleu.

Same here.  When he was part of the total list of contestants for this season, I clocked the reference and moved on.  When his game was announced as coming up, I made the dish because I love it and it wouldn't get out of my head.

I only "knew" (and not by name, I had to look up her credits) Natalie, so I was rooting for her, and amped that up upon finding Chris quite annoying.  He was funny at times, but mostly obnoxious.  It's fun that it was a close game, but I'm happy she'll be the one advancing.

I'm glad that Natalie Morales won. I know that she has an extensive resume since then, but I will always remember her from the wonderful, sadly-forgotten comedy sci-fi adventure series The Middleman. As soon as I saw her, I exclaimed, "It's Dub Dub!" *

For a few months after High School Musical came out, Corbin Bleu was HUGE. He seems to have been doing mostly musical theater since then, so he's probably not as familiar to the general public these days. But I knew who he was.

"Chrissy" was kind of weird. He seemed shocked that he was doing as well as he did, which I guess is not surprising for a celebrity contestant. But dial it back a little, fella!

* Natalie's character on The Middleman was named "Wendy Watson," so her initials were W.W. The Middleman, the mysterious spy who was her partner, called her "Dub Dub," or sometimes "Dubbie."

Corbin was on Dancing with the Stars in 2013; he finished second after Amber Riley. That's all I know him from. Natalie Morales is Dr. Beltran on Grey's Anatomy (I had to look that up, even though I watch the show). I'm not familiar with Chris. I thought he'd annoy me more but I liked his enthusiasm for his charity.

I knew of Natalie and Corbin but had no idea who the Chris (Chrissy?) guy was. Color me surprised when all three took the game seriously and played surprisingly well. I may not be as familiar with all the so-called celebrities as during other years, but I am impressed with the seriousness they are mostly bringing, with a commitment to winning big bucks for their charities. And can I say their charities all seem to mean a great deal to the players so that makes me happy too.

I think I know why the ratings for Celebrity Jeopardy are going down.  Most of the celebrities hardly qualify as such.

That said, it was an entertaining game, and all three contestants took it seriously.

I've heard of a Natalie Morales, but not this Natalie Morales.  No idea who this one is.  Or the other two.

When I saw her name in my guide, I thought "Hey, someone I know!" but then it wasn't.

I thought of Corbin Bernsen, who would actually qualify as a celebrity.
