The story of Faith pre Sunnydale

Faith Lehane was born in Boston Massachusetts she was a care free spirited girl, When she became a teenager she would skip school and get into alot of fights.

Eventually this caught up to her and faith grades started to decline and her attendance got worse and so she got kicked out of school.

Her parents urged faith to get her life together and go back to school but faith would disobey her parents and ultimately ran away from home.

She ran away to another city far away from her parents and got a job at a 24/7 breakfast cafe she worked the morning and evening shifts mostly So that she could go out and party at night.

She was staying at a motel not too far from where she worked, One evening faith went into work and served a mysterious lady sitting by herself in one corner of the cafe.

Faith went over to the lady and asked if she could get her anything the lady looked at her and asked for a cup of coffee, one coffee coming right up faith response with a smile.

Faith brings the lady her coffee and the mysterious lady thanks her and asked faith if she could have a chat with her when time permits.

Faith takes a 15 minute break a short while after serving this lady and goes back to the table to sit down and chat with her.

What's up? Faith asked the Lady.

Lady begins to tell faith about the supernatural things going on all over the world and tells faith prior to herself two other slayers were called and got killed.

However under certain circumstances one of the slayers named Buffy got revived.

She further explains to faith that it's her time to take the mantal as the new slayer, Faith looks at the lady like she was crazy and says you got the wrong girl.

Faith gets back up and finished the rest of her shift than leaves later that night to head back to her motel where she was crashing out.

As she headed back to the motel she gets attacked by two vampires faith yells kicks and screams and manages to break herself free and sprints down an alleyway back to her motel.

The next day faith gets up to get ready for work but is hesitant to go back in but realizes she needs the money to pay for her motel living and so she heads back into work.

On arrival she clocks in and low and behold the same mysterious lady is sitting at the same table alone.

Faith walks up to her and sits down and tells her what happened to her last night.

I was attacked faith says two really strong guys attacked me they were messed up in the face I barley got away, The lady than looks at faith and asked where are you staying right now? Faith response I am staying at a motel not far from here why?

The mysterious lady says your no longer safe there I need you to come with me now we are behind schedule, Behind schedule for what? Faith replies, please come with me the lady says.

Faith than says if I leave I will get fired and I won't have a place to lay my head at night, mysterious lady replies Don't worry you can stay with me but we must hurry and leave right now.

Faith gets up and tells her supervisor that she isn't feeling well and needs to go home to rest , Her supervisor tells her she can't leave because they don't have anyone to fill in so if you leave I'll have to fire you.

Faith rolls her eyes and says screw it and leaves with the mysterious lady They head back to the ladies apartment, She shows faith her new room and says this is where you will be staying.

She than tells faith to grab the black bag in the corner it's heavy faith says whatcha got in there? You will find out soon enough the lady answers.

They head to the cemetery and the lady tells faith to reach into the bag and grab a wooden stake , What's the stake for faith asked, The lady responds you're going to use that and put it through the heart when you get attacked.

Faith- Attacked? By who?

In that moment a vampire starts to claw and crawl his way out of his grave and immediately goes in on the attack and knocks faith to the ground.

Faith says help what should I do?

Mysterious Lady- use your instincts faith

Faith eventually gets the upper hand springs up and flips the vampire on his back gets in a full mount and unleashes a furry of punches before finally putting the stake through his heart.

The vampire explodes into dust particles, Congratulations 👏 the lady says you're training will officially begin tomorrow morning.

Faith says training? For what? And who are you?

Lady responds I am your watcher , what's a watcher? Faith asked, my job is to train and prepare you to be the best slayer you possibly can.

Later that night Kakistos and Mr Trick arrive in town and find an abandoned warehouse to lay low for the night

The next morning bright and early faith begins her training and over the course of the next few days faith begins to build a strong bond with her new watcher.

Than one evening her watcher asked faith if she wanted to go get a bite to eat and get some new clothes? Faith response yes with a smile.

They go out to eat and got to know each other even more faith tells her that she got kicked out of school and ran away from home and just wants to get her life back together.

Her watcher reassures faith that everything will be okay and things will get better in time.

Night falls and they head back to the to the apartment faith asked what kind of training she had planned for tomorrow, Then outta no where they get surrounded by a group of vampires.

What the hell is this? Faith asked, Her watcher response this is why we must always be prepared, The Vampires attack and faith manages to kill one after another luckily I brought this bad boy she says as she blows the dust off her stake.

Her watcher also managed to get a kill  when suddenly a large figure merges from the shadows its kakistos!

He Grabs faith watcher by the neck from behind rips her throat out and slices her body in half with his cloven hands and licks his hands while staring faith down.

Faith being held back by Mr Trick and a blond female vampire screams noooo! And in a fit of rage free's herself and goes on the attack.

She knocks kakistos backwards and he staggers back and faith slashes his eyes with her pocket knife she than reaches for her stake to try to finish Kakistos off before getting held back by Mr Trick once again providing kakistos enough time to disappear into the shadows.

Mr Trick and the blonde vampire runs off while repeating the phrase kakistos lives. Faith looking over her dead watchers body drops to her knees and cries her eyes out.

After awhile faith mustered up enough strength to carry her watchers body into an empty dirt lot and burries her body and takes her apartment keys and personal belongings.

Faith heads back to the apartment packs her bags and reads her watchers diaries learns more about Buffy Summers and her current location.

Faith packs up all her belongings puts it in a suitcase and buys a one way ticket to sunnydale California to meet up with Buffy.

The rest is history.
