And speaking of creepy - that VIP area crasher (Peacock extended footage) was nutty 9 ways to Sunday.  First he's dancing and rubbing against the cast, stealing their alcohol and turning violent.  Can't think why they couldn't include that in the broadcast version.

They're saving it for the "lost footage" special.

Oh, I completely forgot about the milking of episodes.  Wouldn't surprise me if it was a actor hired for this.

The person not being spoken to on why they are not being spoken to is not entirely a source I would consider the most reliable, historically.

More to the point, I doubt either of the parties would be super objective, and I'm not really sure Ariana has actually said anything on it, has she?

I find it interesting that once she discovered Sandoval's cheating and duplicity, Ariana told. her friends, without equivocation. that if they were going to continue to be friends and hang with him, she wasn't interested in being around them.  In many way she's explained why in last season's finale, when that moron - "shucks I'm just a silly puppy dog guy" - Schwartz, showed up at the girls' get together and Ariana I believe told him point blank - "if you're here to stick up for that asshole, you can leave now."  That was the one thing she didn't want or need - people who would be engaging her later with how contrite Tom was and offering various explanations of why essentially they still needed to be friends with him.  Which is PRECISELY what those two attention whores Lala and Scheana did.

And this is why I can't pretend anymore what happens on this show is organic - when they all signed on for another season, what did she think would happen?  They all need the Bravo Bucks more than she does at this point.  (To answer my own question: she knew what would happen and signed on anyway. And then got the last word by skedaddling out the door to Applebee's 😄)

I agree - I seem to recall he was a reall creep at Scheana's? wedding, with more than one person commenting on his behavior.

But Ariana was LIVID that they would say those things at the time!

Supposedly Rachel says she's ready to "move on" from VPR.  To what?  The woman is singularly uninteresting and dumb as a box of rocks.  And really - how the hell do all these people with voices like nails om a chalkboard have a podcast that relies heavily on AUDIO???  Makes no sense.  I think in the end, we'll all really be a variation of Andy Warhol's 15 minutes -- EVERYONE will have a podcast...

Much like this awful show, there are producers out there seeking out these idiots to make a quick buck. So while she may not agree to go back on screen (and I’m willing to bet they begged and pleaded with her to reconsider), if she agrees to do a podcast, there’s still money to be made. She certainly isn’t footing the bill for setup and producing a show on her own.

Katie & Jo were in the same friend group, Jo was at some point BFFs with Kristen Doute. They also showed the screenshot of text Jo sent when the Katie/Schwartz split was announced. In it, she went on about how much she (along with Justin Bieber) loved & respected Katie. Meanwhile, at literally the same time, she was moving in with & sleeping with Schwartz. That's why Katie was IMHO rightfully pissed.

Katie is a miserable cow who even before all this happened spoke very poorly of Jo calling her all kinds of names. She did it last season at the reunion. Saying they all always disliked her and called her names. The text sent by Jo made no sense unless she didn’t actually know how much they mocked her. Katie always was and always will be a mean girl.

Arianna's brother might have started not speaking to her, but he's clear that the silence is now on her end.  From the US Magazine article:

“I reached out to her in December basically just saying, ‘I love you so much. I would love to talk to you soon,'” he noted. “Then she never opened it or responded, so I tried.”

It's obvious that Ariana signed up for this season with no intention of really participating, but only in order to promote herself, and her businesses. She received offers when the show was airing. She filmed with Katie only for a few episodes, and she was then forced by the producers to film in group scenes. She was expected to talk even for a few seconds with Sandoval at the season finale in SF, but she refused to do it, that's why the show is where it is today. The cast members were not in good terms after filming ended until now.

I'd.... want to see some data on this, but maybe.  Felt like she was in every episode as much as anyone else, but maybe I'm wrong.

Good. Use the show, Ariana, just like they used you, and just like literally everyone else uses the show - except the others don't have that much going on. The last thing I wanted to see was her talk to Sandoval, and she had no obligation to do so. If the show is done, I'm also cool with that. After the narrative this season, I have no desire to tune back in. Ariana and Katie would be smart to put all these chuckleheads in their rearview.

If Arianna was up front with the producers about her stipulations then that's on them not her.

And is it really a plot twist on this show when the cast is brutal about the success of another cast member?

I think the true plot twist was the producers leaving in the hot mic moment of their golden boy Sandoval 😂

This. And I wonder if they originally planned to not include that but once they realized the 'villainize Ariana/redeem Sandoval' plot really didn't work, they switched gears when editing the last ep.

I've been wondering about all these dire predictions that Arianna would end up being the villain by the end of the season that the cast were teasing at the beginning of the season. For me, it was more boredom with her attitude.

Tom's bitching about her collecting a paycheck and speaking so mean about the rest of the cast was such a jr. high move.  He's just pissed that they didn't film him with everyone - he had to have his new age events and one or two cast show up.  I fast-forwarded through all of his interactions with the D-Listers because I could not care less about what Billie Lee and Kyle Chan have to say about ANYTHING.

As far as I can tell, Ariana did not go on the Tahoe trip and neither did Katie.  She looks like she filmed enough to give her a decent amount of screen time each week.  I wouldn't judge it compared to Scheana and Lala, though - because those two attention whores work overtime to get on camera.

The name of Kyle Chan's whiskey was "Gold Bar". I really hate that guy dressed like a banana, especially after that "Here comes my favorite cracked-out person!" remark when Jo approached.

Yeah, Ariana was in most episodes if not all, and she did interact with Sandoval at that party at whomever's house when they got into a yelling fight. So she did interact with that asshole. I don't get why folks think she HAD to interact with him after what he did to her. I think they way she handled the situation was perfect and a master class for anyone dealing with a narcissist piece of shit.

I was only disagreeing that she was barely in the season and that she was was FORCED into doing scenes with Tom.  I never said she didn't DO the scenes.  And I'M the one who said she was in every episode!  ;-)

Scheana felt like Ariana gave them a big F you, and one of the producers was very upset:

https://realityblurb.com/2024/05/11/scheana-shay-says-she-no-longer-speaks-much-with-ariana-or-tom-talks-producer-being-upset-at-ariana-future-of-show-and-potential-the-valley-crossovers-plus-pump-rules-reunion-judgement-being/

Looking back on the finale, Scheana revealed that one of her producers was quite upset at Ariana’s refusal to film with Sandoval, prompting him to encourage the cast to break the fourth wall.

“Jeremiah said, ‘Let it all out. Whatever you want to say, Go. Go for it.’ He was very frustrated that day, to get walked out on, it was a slap in the face to everyone,” Scheana explained, noting that she feels differently months later.

“In hindsight, I’m watching it back. I’m like, ‘I understand. That was your truth. In that moment, you were living your real, authentic life and you were not really going to talk to him,'” she reasoned. “[But] for the rest of us, it felt like in that moment, ‘F*ck all of your jobs, f*ck making the end of this show. I’m going to do what I want to do because I set my boundary. Peace out.'”

I wish they would just let Ariana go.  It’s true she doesn’t really care.  Her “truth” is that she didn’t want to be there.

Yes, Ariana didn't go to the cast trip to Tahoe, and filmed only with Katie for some time (it was shown during at least several episodes- I'm not sure how long in actual time this was).

Because you're all babies.

She came to San Francisco, she came to the event, she talked to and filmed with everyone except the dude who publicly fucked her over and humiliated her, who she'd already talked to at at least the beach party.  And, in fact, who she'd already filmed with on the boat.

No matter how frustrated Jeremiah was, I'm pretty sure it's not in their contracts that when being filmed in a group they are required to talk to whomever the producers say they must talk to, whenever they are told to.

I agree she should leave, but the idea that she had a some kind of moral, financial obligation to Scheana (or any other cast member) at that point to have a specific conversation with a specific person on a (COUGH) unscripted reality show is not supportable to me.

Jeremiah is as much a walking turd as Tommy.  I'm willing to bet that asshole is one of the ones that has been pushing and pushing for Ariana to interact with Tommy the Turd when she probably signed on with the proviso that she NOT have to deal with him.

And screw you Scheana.  You're a low-budget, no-talent wanna-be that is about to either move to The Valley or go back to waitressing.  See how much Sandoval does for you when the cameras aren't rolling.

This right here showed what misogynistic pieces of shit Bravo producers actually are. I think this was the single biggest mistake Bravo made on this show this season, showing a producer egging on the cast to rant about a female cast member who chose NOT to talk to her ex partner of 10 years after he had a months long affair with another cast member and her good friend. This was so repugnant and disgusting and I don't know who this Jeremiah is, but I hope his mother sees this and bitch slaps his stank woman-hating ass back to whence he came.

Question - we know Scheana SAID that Jeremiah told everyone to do this but was it on film?  Because frankly I can see Scheana saying that to justify her crap behavior.  But I loved the look on that jerk's face when Ariana unloaded on him.  You have to wonder if Jeremiah told the producers to leave that in because he was stupid enough to think it made Ariana look bad for walking out.  Uh, no, dude.  It made you and Tommy the Turd look like the shits you are.

I would like to think that when the execs saw this he was given his walking papers, but knowing Andy Cohen for the piece of shit he is, he probably gave him a raise and a bonus.

Both the production company (Evolution) and network (Bravo) signed off on breaking the 4th wall, airing Jeremiah's conversation with Ariana AND Lala/Scheana's comments in that finale. They seemingly thought the viewers would appreciate the Sandoval redemption arc/Ariana shaming. Prolly a room full of middle aged men. Sigh.

I think Ariana was 1000% justified in her actions, but I also want to not harsh too badly on the producer being referred to here (Jeremiah).  He didn't snap at Ariana or raise his voice, I remember it more like kinda begging, trying to think on his feet for the sake of the show, which is in fairness his job.  (And I'm not really counting Scheana as some great, accurate witness of someone's emotional state.  Heh.)

Even if I find his annoyance immaterial, I don't think he acted particularly poorly in this.

I appreciated it, but I loathe Ariana and I actually like Sandoval.  I’ve been to forums where others feel the same as me and others where I’m in the minority.  I’m not a man, but I guess I’m middle aged.

What got me was when she told the others they can’t say anything decent about Sandoval. Like she is their boss or something because she’s had a bit of luck in the breakup. The asshole needs a reality check and I don’t blame the others for going off. I’m sure Katie is only nice to her because of the stupid sandwich joint and she did like some misery loves company regarding the Toms.

Was this event for a rotgut whiskey Kyle was promoting? I barely remember him as being the jeweler friend who got engagement and or marriage rings for at least two couples on this show.

I was rewatching Tom and Katie’s wedding last night and I could swear I saw him in the crowd. At some point everybody gets their 15 minutes on VR.
