This was kinda depressing after the first 4 happy episodes, but I'm really enjoying the show and just tearing through the episodes.  The music and the actors are just great.

Jordan playing hard to get with Demetrius would be interesting to me if they weren't already exes. All she's doing is teaching him how long he has to wait for her to change her mind.

Shelby's going through menopause. Lol, she's not ready. And that must explain her wild sex drive recently. Her hormones were rounding the corner for the final stretch.

TBH, the DeBarges were a whole 'nother level of wild back in the day. I'd actually call a lot of their story tragic. Most of them were horribly abused by their father and in some cases, by each other.

What Lance did is exactly why I don't have cell phone access on my tablet. AFAIC pocket dialing is a scourge on humanity, not Fate stepping in. 😱

Harper is slacking on his wife and family. He better wise up because Robyn has other options.

Shelby's gold party seemed a bit tacky to me. Good thing her friends are used to her being over-the-top. I loved her dress though.

Murch and Candace's girls, ODing on precription drugs and food: "We learned it from you!" The whole family is going to have NYE hangovers.

Was Taye Diggs sick or something during filming? I just realized I missed him all last episode. 
 

I wondered last episode where LJ learned his makeup skills, I assumed YouTube/his sisters (who probably learned it from YouTube), makes sense that Kennedy helped him out. But why were Kennedy and LJ expected to be at an adult party? Also no one else came but this circle?
