Loving this season.  It's like they got a new production crew to amp up BB.  I was shocked since the last few seasons were samo, samo.

Great Cast and new challenges.  Higher payday and a few different personalities.  No old cast members to moan about.

It will be interesting to see what cream rises to the top.  So far...so good.

Oh yeah, Julie's face, what's that about? Maybe that's not Julie but an imposter. Maybe it's a twist.

Phew. I'm glad a couple more here noticed it too. It's not that she looked bad, but her mouth just looked like it belonged to someone else. I don't get it, because last season I thought she looked amazing, and not like someone who needed work.

Sounds like we need some meddling kids (and a dog) on the case.

WTH did Julie do to her face during the pandemic ?

I'm the odd man out, but I'm rooting for Brent. He's cute and he's sexy and he's from my state of RI.

Britini is annoying as hell, and I didn't take a liking to Derek F.

Chenbot needed a tune-up

Man... you don't look at your DVR for a few days and then see BB and Love Island started... oh well. Good to see BB back. Agree with the diversity but also "normal folk"ness of the cast.

However (and the Bach/ette is the worst offender ever with this) you are casting SIXTEEN people but you just HAVE TO cast TWO Dereks?

I wanted Whitney to STOP wiggling around during the entire 'draft', chill out girl!

I'll wait and see about the teams thing. I'm currently leaning toward "May it quickly go the way of Gronk's Party."

I love how the whole house seemed to take one look at Travis and went "lol no". Probably the first time it's ever happened to him.

Funny, I thought the exact same thing.  😄

That dice game turned out to be harder than it looked, and under the pressure, Frenchie could very well have lost. That was the right choice for sure.

Absolutely French made the right call, considering the circumstances - which were that Production basically screwed up.  In the context of how the question was posed to Frenchy, of COURSE he’s going to turn it down; at that point in time, the dice are a 100% totally unknown factor. If TPTB really wanted him to take a shot at the game then they should’ve given him at least one free-throw to assure himself that the dice weren’t loaded with sandbags or some such.

Someone should start slipping some Stuart Smalley Daily Affirmations into Julie's teleprompter.

Me, I’d have to go with Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey:

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather.

Not screaming in terror like the other people in the car.

I thought of Jack Handey, but her security software would probably catch that.

I'm from Rhode Island as is Brent. There are thousands and thousands of Brents here. In some neighborhoods everyone's a Brent. Anyway there's a pretty high possibility he's a tool.

I'm from RI and I have yet to meet more than a few - I want to meet a Brent ! 😄

I think his game is obvious - he's going to use his handsome looks and charm to play everyone; the women and the men in the house.

I really hope Whitney stops posing for the camera. I am betting she's just super conscious of it right now, but she was doing these porn star lips/teeth thing that was grating, and also posturing really oddly.

Loving Claire in the small amount of time I saw, and I hope she does well.

It's for 4 weeks.

By the end of the fourth week we will all be bored out of our minds. They always run these idiotic twists for far too long.

When Julie Chen-Moonves told the cast to 'expect the unexpected' , I was waiting for one of them to say "You mean like your new face ? No one was expecting that !" 😀

I thought her outfit was too tight on her, and she was squirming to keep it in place.

Also, she reminds me of Suzanne somers on "three's company".

"Not just a regular dumb surfer" is such a played out reality TV archetype that I'm waiting for the contestant who is, in fact, just a regular dumb surfer. Travis is nothing but a variation on a theme.

I'm obsessed with Claire's sundress. It was pretty and looked comfortable and I wish I knew where she bought it.

Great premiere. Like others, I'm cautiously optimistic for this season. I'm also hopeful that we can return to actual "my alliance doesn't like your alliance" game play versus the BB16-and-onward "I'll gaslight you into thinking you're in my alliance and then turn around and tell you it's your fault you got evicted." Kaycee can keep that going on The Challenge, but I don't ever want to see it on Big Brother (ahem, Nicole) again.

I'm sure she lives in one of the fancy, McMansions that have sprung up in Happy Valley in the last twenty years.

Since the 1930s my mom's family had been based in Clackamas and I went to high school there. My cousin and I used to ride horses around where a lot of the development is now--before it was ever called Happy Valley--way back when it was primarily woods and farmland. It's so depressing now! I was in high school when the big mall opened. Our office moved out there about 12 years ago which I hated because with the exception of one aunt who now lives five hours away, everyone on my mom's side, including her, are all gone.

Me:  Whitney, stand STILL! Geez!

I think the point of the twist is to try and keep the Mega Super Alliances from forming that have made Modern Big Brother so boring.
