Yes, Dorit, the people do apparently want the real tax returns of Beverly Hills.  Bingo.  And while we’re at it, do you even live in Beverly Hills?

I’m just going to write this and then set myself on fire:  I was digging PK’s athleisure with the Timberlands at the beginning of the episode.  I also kind of wanted to know what the Hebrew tattooed on hie forearm said.  When did PK get interesting?

As far as the looks at the housewarming:

I’m surprised Teddi didn’t burst into flames when her daughter implied something about her was “fat.”

Kyle’s dress made her look about as pregnant as Teddi, but the bangs were finally gone, and I just have to fall on my knees with gratitude about that.  

Dorit didn’t wear her dress, her dress wore her.  Ditto for Sutton.

As awful as a human as she is, Lisa looked gorgeous once again.  I like women who improve with age—it gives me hope—and I feel like this is by far her best looking season.

Faye and Adrienne—I’m just going to say this because they’re awful—their jumpsuits would have been stunning if they had the bodies they had in season three.  Not so much today.  

I don’t believe Garcelle that she’s very excited about Michael.  Is there anything exciting about Michael?  The dress looked like she was going to the prom, but the hair, makeup and choker killed it.  

Dorit’s house looks very nouveau riche, if I’m being kind, but it wasn’t a dump, and I loved the indoor/outdoor ambiance.  

Lol at Sutton saying no one is going to say she slept with her.  

Brandi has great stems, but her dress was up past her C U next Tuesday.  

I actually really liked Kim Richards’s dress.  She looks good with the implants off.  The hair and makeup were another story.  

Kyle, someone has seen Denise and Camille “walking together”?  Alrighty then.  Was that before or after one of Alexia’s friend’s parent’s took their construction workers to take a polygraph and ran into Lisa VanderPump?

I am with you.  I think kids that age are better seen, not heard, amongst adults.  I think it’s inappropriate for a kid to come yelling during a toast at an adults’ party.  I noticed that PK and Kyle both remarked that Dorit talked too much during the episode, though, so maybe it was one of those out of the mouth of babes things.  

Lol, Brandi.  The stuff between you and Denise “is no one else’s business” now???  A day late and a dollar short.  

Was Denise supposed to ride to Dorit’s party with Garcelle or something?  I am not totally sure why Garcelle took the no-show so personally. Denise didn’t want Garcelle to have to lie for her.  I have been saying all season that people shouldn’t lie—they don’t owe everyone the God’s honest truth, but I don’t think lying is helpful—so if Denise didn’t want to come to the party and just shut off her phone, that’s preferable to a lie to me.  It’s some growth and progress. 

And I don’t know exactly how this show works with production, but I don’t think you get to take someone else’s lie and carry it over two degrees and take umbrage.  If Aaron lied to the producers about a family emergency, I’m not sure the women then get to blame Denise for “lying.”  That’s at least two degrees of separation.  Let Aaron take that up with the producers.  

Again, not Team Denise, just calling balls and strikes.

Have any of the housewives shows ever had the producers take an active part in promoting chaos?  Brandi being front and center at the party with the other housewives running up to greet her and dragging her into the group picture was disgusting. That party was a setup to ambush Denise and when she found out she didn't give them the satisfaction of another pile on.

If Aaron put up an Instagram post of Denise’s six month old surgery the day after telling the producers there was a family emergency, that is not a lie, but it’s a huge manipulation.  

Sending a cease and desist to production is an amateur and cowardly way out, although I’m not privy to all of the details of what happened.  It makes Denise look like she has a lot to hide, whether she does or not.  

So I kind of have to disagree with Lisa that Denise is really good at this PR game.  I think she sucks at it, though that is perhaps her biggest sin.

Once again, Denise’s biggest problem is Aaron.  Instead of letting Aaron lie about a family emergency, Denise could have just said she wasn’t coming to the party because she didn’t want to see Brandi.  There still would have been people who would have questioned why she didn’t want to see Brandi, but I don’t think those people’s questions would have subsided with a lie about a family emergency.  It’s just adding to the aura of dishonesty.  

When Adrienne refused to film the reunion of season three, all of the cast—even the ones who were ride or die for Adrienne, like Kyle and Kim—said that was going too far, and—I watched it earlier today—to a person, pretty much everyone said that you shouldn’t go on reality TV if you have secrets that you don’t want to come out.  Andy asked Brandi why she thought Adrienne would put herself on reality TV, and Brandi said that one thing you can’t buy is fame, and that’s what Adrienne wanted, but she was trying too hard to control the narrative, putting a spin on everything through the media and her chef, Bernie.  I see way too many parallels here.

I thought Adrienne was wrong then for dodging the show, and I think Denise is wrong now.  Walking away from production is fine; I think it’s beautiful when someone puts their family above the almighty dollar.  Sending a cease and desist when you don’t like your edit is a bridge too far for me.  This show is in its tenth season.  If Denise didn’t know what to expect, and she thought this was the E! Channel, that’s on her.  

Denise, please release Lisa Rinna’s text messages!!!!!  

It was surreal to see them all fast-forwarded into the present.  Harry has to quarantine with Lisa.  Mwhahahahaha.

I’m assuming Garcelle will not be back since she’ll be on The Real. I’m happy for her, she was too good for this show. I hope Sutton doesn’t come back, she brought nothing to the show except hideous clothing choices.  I hope Denise doesn’t come back, she doesn’t need this show anyway, she has an acting career. If Kim and Brandi come back I’m done. Done! 
well, on to the shitshow of the reunion which will be virtual, they can flounce off to their own bathrooms if they get mad.

I don't see why Garcelle would have to lie for Denise. Denise had the option of telling the truth. "I decided not to come because Brandi texted me to say she was coming and I didn't want to deal with that." That's all she needed to tell Garcelle. 

And that's why Denise loses me. She's trying to control the narrative so tightly that she is making herself look dishonest. I personally think a lot of people would understand why she didn't want a big confrontation with Brandi at Dorit's party. So why not just say that?

That doesn't mean I believe Brandi because I don't. Every time I think that Denise is lying about their relationship, I remember it is Brandi telling the story here and I just don't believe her. But once again, Denise denies this texting relationship but then says in the confessional, "well, I  have texts from Brandi and Rinna, too." Okay but Rinna isn't denying that, Denise? So which is it, do you barely know Brandi or do you have damning text messages from her?

At this point, I kind of believe Denise and Brandi deserve each other. 

ETA: IMO, the reason why Denise didn’t tell Garcelle the truth re the party is because she knows that admitting she got a text from Brandi shows that she was lying about the extent of her friendship with Brandi. So that's why she chose the ghosting option.

I have to say this breaking the fourth wall and seeing what was happening after the cameras turned off… did absolutely nothing to change my opinion about the events. I always thought Brandi and Denise canoodled, so that never mattered to me. What mattered to me was how it was weaponized.

I can’t give an exact reason why it was weaponized, many on these forums in previous weeks believed it was to get back at Denise for “mom shaming.” In any event, it’s clear to me that this was brought to camera by Kyle via Kim & Brandi. It’s no coincidence that every time Kim brought a plus one to a non-Kyle event it was Brandi. It’s a setup to create a confrontation with Denise and make a moment. Denise didn’t show up, denying Kyle, the producers, Brandi and me (I love drama!) this opportunity.

I could be more upset with Denise if I didn’t know this show was not reality, but reality-constructed. We know the ladies don’t talk about certain things on camera, it’s not no holds barred, but for some reason this topic needed to be hashed out. Why?
