krankydoodle February 5, 2020 Share February 5, 2020 (edited) Between dosing Mike with PCP and stealing Dante's clothes, I don't know why either Mike or Thomas is still hanging out with Daisy. Didn't the demolition start before Killane's home was emptied? I thought I remembered seeing the wrecking ball go through the wall where he had his investigations mapped out. The fight between Katz and Jo was well-choreographed, but I'm not sure I buy that she'd visit him at home. They didn't seem all that close. Good twist with Killane and his daughter, but wasn't he under guard? How did she get into his room? And why didn't Adam tell Jo that he had seen her at the hospital? Mike is such a jerk that I don't know why Thomas, who seems like a really nice kid, is still hanging out with him. 16 hours ago, krankydoodle said: And why didn't Adam tell Jo that he had seen her at the hospital? Throughout the series my husband and I have been complaining about people not sharing crucial information (which is a typical way for TV shows to create drama and suspense). I guess in this case it's to show the damage done by keeping secrets. 1 5 Link to comment
Cheezwiz February 18, 2020 Share February 18, 2020 Wow, that was a really well choreographed fight scene with Jo & Katz. The actor playing Katz is doing a great job - he genuinely seems dangerously nuts! I wonder what's going to happen with his "business associate". I'm a bit confused by the reveal at the end about Killane's daughter (I figured she had to be related to SOMEBODY on the show) - hasn't the show established that the Prices and Killane all lived in the same (now demolished) neighbourhood at one time? And Killane raised his kid there alone? Wouldn't they have known and recognized his daughter even if she'd been estranged for a long time? It appears Daisy is the biggest jerk of all the teens. Poor Thomas is a nice kid with crappy friends. This has been a really unexpectedly fun roller-coaster ride of a show. 1 Link to comment

On that last point, correct me if I've got it wrong, but when Chris lived at home, he was a boy. A sex change happened in secret, and now Chrissy is a woman. I can imagine Adam and Ed looking at her and not identifying her as the Chris they knew. Link to comment

Wow, that's a detail that was completely lost on me. So "Chris" was supposed to be a male to female trans character? I didn't pick up on that at all - I don't recall the Stephen Rea character ever referring to Chris as his son. When was this revealed? Link to comment

No, they were very careful to never say ‘boy’ or ‘he’ or ‘him’. It’s always Chris, or our child or adorable toddler. But I agree that how could Adam not know Chris? Certainly the actress is very distinct. 1 Link to comment
SunnyBeBe September 6, 2022 Share September 6, 2022 (edited) I went back and watched scenes with Martin to see what he says about his child. True, he never says he or she, but it was a daughter, who turned out to be the Stranger. And, yeah, it is odd that the bio father family, especially the bio brother didn’t recognize her when she approached him, however, I’m not sure I would recognize some of the neighbors I grew up with after so many years. What I didn’t understand is why Martin didn’t move the body (during the night), sell the place and not look back. He had connections and detective smarts. Just waiting for the demolition crew to arrive was ridiculous. Edited September 6, 2022 by SunnyBeBe Link to comment
