Update: ‘Brother Husband’ star Chad left some more info about his family in the comments of the Starcasm article:
“Hello! I’m Chad, from the show. I am bisexual. Jeremy is straight. To clear up the confusion. We are all emotionally committed and connected. But I only have a sexual relationship with Amanda, and Jeremy and Amanda’s is there own as well.
We also are technically ‘co-husbands’ not brother husbands. I believe that is made up term for the show haha! We are not religious.
We do both dress well, and have great hair and if being called gay is the worst thing you can think of….I think we will survive. Most of my friends identify in the community.
We are a family together with Amanda as the leader and main breadwinner of our family as well. Jeremy and I split the majority of the child raising at home while she is at work. Since my children are school aged I now work when they are in school.
As far as DNA of the triplets and how we decided and how they were conceived you can see the episode. It’s addressed there, but they were a total fluke and conceived the good old fashioned way.
Being confused about our family and sexuality is natural. I enjoy the conversation you are having and I hope this show can spark many many more. And challenge everyone traditional views of marriage, family, sex and sexuality.”

Totally agree with Nowhere. The guys are gay or bi and she is their surrogate. What is up with her hair? Looks different in every other scene. She looks like she is wearing wigs? Looks like this was a one time special episode. I don't see any more episodes on the TV guide.

I don't see Maddie as a special snowflake. Has she said one word about Mykelti encroaching on her special time? I think Kody, as if he is paying for any of it..thank you TLC, is trying to figure out finances of the two weddings back to back. Gee dumb shit you got kids lined up it going to happen. I see Janelle thinking I have had to share everything in my married life MY kid is going to take center stage for once. Hmm wonder how Robyn is going to turn all the attention to her before this is over???
As for Mykelti...what an entitled little brat! To think she gave conditions for a paid honeymoon after a paid wedding! Shes got balls. I would have been afraid to do something like that to my parents. She disgusts me. I so hope she reads these forums. Maybe it will be wake up call.

Me too! I started envisioning what I would do if my daughter spoke to me that way...it wasn't pretty. Mady is so damn smug. People say "oh she's a teenager" Ah no she is a brat. As a mother of multiples who are now 18 I realize Kate has to pick her battles, but I think she s losing the war with Mady.
I agree the party was for TLC. I really hope Kate and fam did something special for Colin.

Have some questions -
Someone mentioned "I get the Josiah vibe from her." regarding Joy. What does this mean? I expect the ability to care for one's self does down with each subsequent child. Only saving grace in the family is Jana and I think John David. These two know whats up. As much as I would like to see them run away as fast as they can I don't see them leaving the others behind to their awful parents.
Also what is blanket-trained regarding Michelle and the kids?
Lastly what does TTH mean? As much as I follow this forum you'd think I know

The fear she felt when the shower rack fell is real. She went into panic mode and she most likely feels this panic when discussing or thinking about the shower rack incident. Realizing it was only a shower rack doesn't diminish her reaction of panic and fear. We would laugh and say oh that was just the rack haha, but Jill lives in a fear state expecting something to happen. I think she has PTSD. Please Derrick do not take her back to that country.

3. The look on Jinger's face when the interviewer asked about how soon they would start a family... then, the look got even better when Jessa states you'll be expecting by the end of the year
4. The fact that the show was referred to as an after show with at least 3 more episodes to air
5. When Derrick was blabbing on and onnnnn about a simple question of what do you think about Jinger and Jeremy's courtship...Jeremy is behind him but poor Derrick is still so serious giving his long speech.
6. The competition between Jessa and Jill of who can show their toddler more affection in 5 seconds when the little ones came out and they acted like it had been a week since they saw their kids instead of 5 minutes
7. Them showing the guys getting makeup done...awkward
8. The camera shots of all their odd facial expressions...was that editing or real time reactions??
The camera shots of their reactions or side shots looked so awkward. Everyone seemed uncomfortable and Jill looked to be suffering. A lot of rolling of the eyes. In one shot Jeremy looked miserable. Never noticed this editing before.
Here is what I came away with
Ben- In over his head. Has no idea how he is going to support his wife and growingfamily
Jessa- Is still the queen. At least she seems to like Ben(wasn't sure for awhile there), maybe not respect. I think she is having twins which would double crush Jill.
Jill- Needs a mental health assessment STAT. Please, please get help before you get pregnant.
Derrick- Doesn't look healthy. If you are going to be a missionary...do something for the people besides bible study. Dig a well for clean water, bring in medicines...DO SOMETHING!
Jinger- Young lust...sigh
Jeremy- Better carb load before the wedding night
Jana- Start your decorating business girl. Show big daddy you have worth even when not married and pushing babies out every 18 months. YOU GO GIRL!
Joy-Please do something besides interning under Jana as "mom pro tem". Go read a book.

As a mental health therapist I agree Jill is suffering anxiety, possibly extreme anxiety. In her whole life she has never been alone. Never without one of her tribe with her. Except for moments, she has always been on the family compound. Now she is left with Izzy in a country she sees as scary and dangerous. Derrick goes off to do...who knows what he does, but he is away from the house. I can see her spending all of her time Derrick is away locked in her safe room with the baby. Sitting there just waiting for something horrible to happen. And knowing it WILL happen eventually. Her freak out anxiety is through the roof and maybe she is having panic attacks. If you are on edge, like she is, the sound of breaking glass of a falling shower rack ..in her mind took her to "guns...danger...we're going to die". Even after she sees it is ok her panic is so high she can't feel safe. I can see it being an episode where Derrick has to throw water on her or shake her to get her to bring her back to reality. Yes Jill needs help. There are somethings that need more than to "pray it away"

Is Jessa pregnant with twins? I had twins after my son and I was soundly showing by 11 weeks. I always looked a month..or more bigger than I did with my son.

I used to like Eileen and Lisa R. I can barely stand seeing either on the screen after this episode.
It is like producers told them if you want to continue on this show you better make a "it happen"...bring something to the table. ACK! I like Eileen so it is sad to see her become "one of them".
As for Yolanda do you think the women, at this filming, knew that Yo and chuckle head were heading towards divorce? Can't figure out the timing of the filming and their announcement. If they did know do you think any of them would mention it on camera? I hope they would take the high road..now if Brandy was on the show and was on the outs with Yolanda she would spill it in a drunken binge.

WOW was NOT expecting Charlie's "nephew" to be the hostage taker's son. That being said... not so excited about this show anymore. Everyone on the show, even the "good" guys piss me off. A good show is suppose to elicit a reaction from the audience, but everyone is horrible. You need good guys for balance. This show just makes me want to drink lol
Ok in the preview for next week who is in bed with Fitz? She doesn't look like the reporter. She looks way too young.

I thought minus Kendall that their faces looked particularly distorted. I mean like really bad, fun house mirror distorted. I don't know if some of it was the lighting too. Then Faye Resnick appeared and she looked even worse. For the life of me, I don't get why these women have mutilated their faces. Kris actually looked better than the younger ones, at least last night. Maybe that is because she started later with altering her face.
This whole show was so much BS being thrown around. You guys have covered that well. I question my own sanity as to why I watch this show. So so phony. Their fake outsides have consumed anything that at one time might have been real on the inside. I've never seen such a group of people with so little self-awareness.
I was thinking the same thing! They all looked...off. A few scenes caught Kris looking rough and Faye-wow And whats up with Jonathon? Has he had plastic surgery? I kept stopping the dvr to look closer at his face. Something looks different and not in a good way. I was thinking maybe the editing is different. Not using a soft filter or something?
As for Kylie I literally feel my blood pressure go up and I want to punch her whenever she is on the screen.
Kim has a body double to try on clothes because she is tired?? GAG! Like she told Kortney "you aren't special"

What in the fuckity fuck was with Yolanda sobbing when coming out of surgery? For real?? She and her hypochondria need to take several seats
Some people have this reaction coming out of anesthesia. Not sure why. Since I was a little girl I wake up crying after any anesthesia. Weird...and scary for family to see.

I hate to say it but Cynthia could go ten rounds against Hitler and Stalin and I would still have a hard time rooting for her as long as she is with Peter. He clearly has decided this is as far as he getting show-wise and has decided to put just enough effort to still let the cameras fluff his ego and that is it. I think he holds Cynthia partly responsible for whatever silliness he thought he was going to glorify himself with in regards to some kind of spin off. He has checked out but he didn't stop by the desk to pay the bill. The day the the cameras stop rolling for Cynthia is the day he mails back the key card and has all hismail forwarded to Charlotte. Or wherever the next place he can attach himself to in his financial favor.
Sad me though kidn of wishes he did get that show. I so want cameras to be there when Cordell sits down with his accountant and they slowly in small words explain just how much Peter has enjoyed on Cordell's dime.
What show are you talking about? What does Cordell have to do with Uncle Ben? Is he an investor in the Charlotte business? I must be out of the loop :D

Am I the only one who expects Ashley to creep into bed with Vanessa and Dimitri? I think a threesome would be more than Vanessa bargained for. Vanessa may use this show as a step to stardom, and if she gets a little Dimitri action so be it (it's for the good of the show you know) but a threesome hmm? I think Dimitri has some freak factor and Ashley goes along with it. He controls the whole game, but wants us to believe he doesn't make a move without Ashley's consent (Of course except for getting intimate with the last potential wife) I hope Ashley...and Vanessa go into this with their eyes wide open.
What exactly is their reason for wanting to do the plural wife thing?
