  1. Geezer here, never heard of Jack Harlow and not into his *?music?* but thought he was great in the sketches. Agree with others that this ep was the best of the season so far. Cecily absolutely nailed Kari Lake!!

  2. WTF!! So while the all girl alliance is strategizing silently at the water hole, I'm trying to follow the conversation by reading the subtitles. Then suddenly I get a little pop-up Skechers ad on screen that covers part of the subtitle!! After rewinding several times to try and hear what is said I give up and turn on my closed captions. Closed captions couldn't understand it either, it just left the sentence hanging with a -!??

Well, I’m assuming they were heard... since the last scene shows headlights flashing across the room June was laying in- a car pulling up to the house? Right before she says the line “I tell. Therefore you are.” Headlights light up the room.

...and I'm pretty sure I faintly heard a couple of car doors slam?

Yet, he takes 2 of his goons to LPH and basically takes over the restaurant, first holding the customers hostage and then kicking them out.  Doesn't he realize this could bring unwanted attention from law enforcement?

I could understand if he and his goons just sat in the store all day, looking scarey and waiting for Gus, like Marco and Leonel did.  But, Hector was way too obvious.

Why bring attention on himself and his new mule?

He could have simply contacted Gus and arranged a meeting.

Agree totally, this for me was a plot flaw that I just can’t get my head around, I mean nobody in that position with that amount of experience behind him could be that stupid.  I find it hard to believe that not one person out of all those employees and especially patrons did not have the presence of mind to contact the police.  It reminded of a scene that prompted me to quit watching the new Hawaii 50.  McGarrett is holed up in a barber shop being attacked by automatic fire from various different angles, yet with hundreds of rounds being fired over about a 20 to 30 minute time period absolutely no backup shows up.  WTF!  Five-0 has got more plot holes than swiss cheese but I stuck with it for awhile because I have traveled there a few times and just needed to get my weekly fantasy escape from the rainy wet coast weather here.  That pushed me over the edge though, that was it, enough Five-0, couldn’t take it any longer. As for BCS, nothing will chase me away, I’m in for the duration. Loved BB and love this show!

  5. Is anyone else just Trumped out? I'm just so tired of the constant media attention given him, mostly brought upon himself, that I've also become weary of Baldwin's impersonation. I was so relieved when I heard, shortly after the election, that AB was going to give up the honour only to have it continue every week on SNL, and then more recently hear that he's considering taking it on tour. OMG... Enough already!! Nothing against AB, I would just like to see a lot less of Trump in any form.

I think Discovery Ch Ca is 1 one ep behind. Was ep 4 that they all met?

Yes, I think you're right and I'm also wondering why the episodes aren't separated. It's pretty frustrating being an episode behind, catching up in the forum to the episode that aired in U.S. last week and getting spoiled by the comments.

  7.  Loved this episode and can't wait for the Ponderosa vid! And am i the only one that froze my pvr in the RC and tried to solve the puzzle? All the letters were there in one scene with the the camera looking over Dan's shoulder: a reward will fix the shain’t - took me about 3 minutes at that point thanks to Sierra's "fixin's" and I'm just a dumbass Blue Collar!

  8. I wish we could get a Survivor season where people aren't afraid to take the best of the best to the end, and not just someone who rode their coattails or an unlikable goat like Dan.  It just seems like it takes away from the spirit of the competition to go to the end with people knowing they are extremely disliked or did absolutely nothing to get there other than be a sheep.

Yes, that would be awesome! The utopian final tribal! If there was just some meaningful way to earn game value by not being an ass or, conversely, lose game value or get penalized somehow for being an ass.

The failure to actually show how the schoolyard pick went down was more egregious than usual considering how it affected the game.

Jeff actually did announce the schoolyard picks as the players were setting up for the challenge: Dan chose Tyler and Rodney; Carolyn chose Mike and Sierra. Not sure but since that's the way Jeff worded it, can we assume that was the order of the picks?

  10. When Jeff asked Dan about his big advantage and if anyone had asked him about it, Dan made it sound like everyone swarmed all over him at camp begging for info.  Have we seen one instance of that to back up his claim?  The only one who really seemed to care was Tyler.  He sneaked a peek in the bag to read it then Tattle-Tylered to Carolyn.  We haven't seen anyone else begging Dan for info.  More of Dan's "I'm sooo popular!" delusions?

Agreed that Dan is delusional but in this case I find it inconceivable that he didn't get interrogated by everyone given the potential importance of any advantage in the game. Aside from the snippet of Tyler and Carolyn discussing it in private, I and other posters have been questioning the editing (or complete lack of editing) on this very topic since he first acquired the advantage. And I love how Carolyn played dumb when the subject came up at TC.

  11.   The RC is exactly why I hate Mike.  Kudos to them winning, but seriously dude, the girls are capable.

I'm sure either one of the girls would have been quite capable of completing the challenge. But in this type of challenge there's an obvious learning curve in terms of both trajectory and the amount of jump force on the launcher. You don't want to have a replacement, regardless of gender, come in and waste time having to take 2 or 3 practice shots just to learn the physics of the task. On the other hand you may have a point in regards to how they arrived at the decision where Mike started that phase of the task.

  12. Someone fire Michael Che already, when he's not flubbing ever single line and ruining the joke, I don't understand a word he mumbles with marbles in his mouth; and when I do understand, he's not funny.

Yes Please!! Jost and Che have had the season to get the wrinkles out but only Jost has managed to improve. Fire Che's ass and bring in Jessica Williams from The Daily Show!

  13. If I missed this, forgive me - but has ANYONE in the BC tribe ever questioned who has the WC's immunity idol?  Or do they all assume it went away when Joaquin was voted out?  I mean, it's kind of a big deal, yes?  All it would take is one look at Carolyn's perpetual smug expression to figure it out.

You'd think the producers would ALWAYS want the audience to be able to see that a player had become aware of the other player's advantage, since that would change one's strategy.

Well, I think it is a big deal and in a related vein I had the exact same question last week seeing absolutely zero edit of anyone probing the nature of Dan's advantage.

  14.

The producers better be careful.  This playing fast and loose with the rules shit is wearing thin.

I agree. Carolyn should not have been allowed to renege or Will allowed to negotiate for his letters. But i also think Mike should have been forced to honor his agreement with the rest of the letter bidders. Period.

  15. Raylan throws the bullet at Wynn Duffy: "Next one's comin' faster."

Later at HQ Art asks Raylan what throwing the bullet was all about: (paraphrasing here) "Oh I dunno, saw it in a movie once, it looked cool."

  16. Mike had nothing to lose with that, because an experienced cop with a heavy revenge motivation would know to plant an untraceable gun.  Then if he didn't end up needing it, it would be on the two who were responsible for the car to explain it.

And while they're trying to explain the gun they'd both be taking a long suspicious look at each other.

By actually holding and taking care of his baby, no matter how temporarily, is the sort of thing to maybe get him to comprehend how special his child is and recognize his responsibility towards to his child.

You've hit a nerve here with me dohe. This is exactly what happened for me some 29 years ago when this deadbeat dad saw his son for the first time on his first birthday. The rest is history. Thanks for the validation.

  18. I have no idea why Che seemed so nervous early this season since he held down his Daily Show duties very well, but I think he's finding his groove.

I think both Che and Jost have improved a bit throughout the season but it's just not good enough for me. I think Kate has really displayed her awesome talent and would love to see her replace Che on WU.
