They’re really pushing it with the in-show sponsorships. The show is short enough without wasting time minutes with that crap.

Yup. Goes to show that taste is more important than anything else on this show.

Sohan has been in the top two four times now, but just can’t get the win. Not even for a perfect croquembouche. Naho’s must have been amazing. The kids this season have made more things I wish I could try than any other season I can remember.

Aw, not Ozan. In a season where it would be hard to pick a favorite, he would have been a strong possibility. You could tell he knew it was coming Isn’t this the second time someone had to make corn on the cob? I don’t think that one was successful either. I hope they drop that, it looked too time consuming. Genevieve‘s looked great, but I was kind of surprised that they didn’t say anything about her only baked element in the main dish and just some coconut, cherries and bacon mixed in. I think they’ve done that before when a kid has done something similar. Although I guess making the boba could have made up for that. Happy for her win regardless, she reminds me of my niece. Did any of the other kids make something additional for the escargot? Didn’t seem like anyone else had time.

I love that the last thing we got from Jason was his sweet little giggle when he said he’d miss being on TV. 😄

What did Keaton say he was good at besides cake? Duff isn’t the only judge. How do you know Valerie (or anyone else behind the scenes) wasn’t giving him passes for his mistakes and that they were worse than any of the other kid’s mistakes?

Wasn’t there a baking pan situation in another season recently? I seem to remember another baker who needed a certain sized pan, and it created issues with his or her cake.

Does anyone know how they film this show? How long of a break do the kids get between challenges?

I’m willing to assume Reggie got a crap edit. We saw just 40 minutes, but they were baking for five hours, plus judging, filming their interviews, and who knows what else. That’s a lot of time for anyone, let alone kids in a high pressure baking competition. Anyone, even adults, would have their moments of being less than perfect. We saw barley saw two minutes of Reggie being a little rude. I doubt Sam and Greyson were perfect happy angels the whole time either.

Oh, come on. Let’s just have a four kid finale for once.

I’d like to see a whole episode of the Reggie and Naima show.

Do you think any of the eliminated kids ever quit baking? Seems like every episode, someone says “don’t quit baking” or “I’m not going let this stop me from baking.” I’ve never understood why they say that.

His tears must have dried up quickly since they didn’t immediately cut back to him after the commercial break or show anyone comforting him.

That, and her comment about the second time almost resulting in death. Even the camera man (or whoever else was in the room) laughed at that.

Did anyone watch the Halloween episode? It was fun to see some of the kids again. But there wasn’t much suspense on who would win once you saw the results.
