You just made my day! I was waiting for someone to get the allusion. I figured there would be a lot of people watching this who saw Almost Famous.
Don’t count on the book being a lot more compelling. Somehow it just isn’t. I actively disliked it the first time through and read I again because of the show. It was better the second time through but not a ton. It still reads like a combination of sixties and seventies rock cliches and someone writing a report on the classic rock era. None of the characters read as real people. Though in these last episodes, they do start selling me Billie and Daisy as in love.

Well, Graham is Billy’s brother if that helps. But your point is well taken, the secondary characters are flat to say the least.

Yeah I was in the minority as well as someone who was not a fan of the book. Just wasn't very compelling and I find Daisy and Billy even more unlikeable in the show.

What kind of insurance, or what kind of fertility specialist charges only $135.00 as co-pay or office visit with all that goes with such visits (harvesting, implanting, etc)? I don't think insurance companies cover fertility treatments, and if they do, a co-pay of $135.00 would be ust for the visit, and way too high. Their world is really strange.

Theo is 12 and got a book that would be more fitting for a pre-schooler. My 11 year-old niece is reading a book on sustainability, just for reference.

Cancer story again is really boring and parent leaving videos for future child has been done since forever. There was a whole movie with Michael Keaton from ages ago.

I also hope that the actor who plays Theo has a growth spur, not because he needs to , but because the writers need a shake up, They need to write the kid's age

My insurance covered 3 rounds of IVF 100%. I am lucky but it is out there.

At Orthodox Jewish funerals, whilst most attendees will just add one shovelful of dirt, family and friends will indeed fill the grave completely.

At my daughter's funeral, Jewish but not orthodox, friends and family also stayed to fill the grave completely.

Maggie's mom should have been seeing an oncologist. Bailey, Meredith and Jackson should have been working with the oncologist, not on their own.

That's what I was thinking the whole time.  Why was her case not managed by an oncologist?  I know there has to be a lot of suspension of disbelief but I could not get over that she wasn't being seen by an oncologist.

  6. I don't normally feel compelled to post but I had to after this episode.  Mourning attire? Really?  Yes, I get it.  It's bittersweet that the girls are moving on.  But that's life,  You move on, you leave one thing and move to another.  To say the moms were being dramatic about it all is an understatement.  Sure a goodbye party with a few nice parting words from the dance teacher would have been nice but this was another week with another competition that involved all the girls on both teams.  The whole world doesn't stop just because you are moving on to something else.  Ridiculous.

  7. The funny thing is I actually agreed with Kristina's general point, but I find the character so annoying that I still wanted to punch her in the face.

Normally I would agree with her but she went ahead and did everything she wanted (running for mayor, opening the school) without really caring how it would affect her family so yeah I was wanting her to shut up.
