  1. The game is more than trivia. Andrew's strategy was to put himself behind big targets.
  2. Yes, a prize for the runner-up, considering you can now lose a duel and not go home. Maybe if someone wins 2-1 the runner up gets something? While I do want more reason to duel(not incentive), I can't deny the strategy evolves each season. It's a great show.
  3. Craziest finale ever. A great episode..... for the most part.
  4. They all seemed shocked that the guy chose anatomy, like it was somehow a crazy choice. Rob seemed happy though.
  5. The more single squares you are touching, the more likely the randomizer is to come for you. Brian just got super lucky because he had a lot less single squares touching him. If you remember episode 9 with Eric, he got called up tons of times. If you have a lot of territory you can not avoid the randomizer. The randomizer is your biggest threat, and now contestants can likely face you in an inherited category. It forces the person with the most territory to stay up(and risk elimination every time) or keep inheriting categories, and most people want to do neither.
  6. she apparently thought it would be pictures of the authors.
  7. Maybe it's both lol.
  8. Yeah, the classic cars was judged pretty badly.
  9. It didn't seem like it. They are scared of David, yes European geography but he probably knew every single one at light speed. It's speed, it wasn't about studying. David was always going to be faster than them at that. When the category is finite it's speed. As for eras - Clint: 1930's. * buzz * [GREAT DEPRESSION] Why should they bother giving 1930's as a clue in the thing(they did)? weird duel just because "era" wasn't clearly defined. But I digress.
  10. I guess we'll see if Lisa's selflessness leads to anything of note next week. At the end of the day she didn't have to listen to the peanut gallery. But for doing so, she gained something much more valuable. Favor. Oh well. Her "other choices" were going to beat her anyway. At least she was gutsy. Let's be real the floor would've turned into "avoid Periodic Table" again if she hadn't. Agree to disagree.
  11. The guy got Spanish, Italian, French. She got all the other hard ones. Guess that's an advantage of going first in a finite duel like this.
  12. I get why some people might see the sacrifice as a bad move. She risked everything and lost — and it’s easy to call it pathetic. But it wasn’t selfish. It wasn’t a mutiny. It definitely wasn’t jealousy. It was selflessness. Most players would never have done what she did. Remember Physics lady? Periodic Table? No one wanted to challenge those. She had a real (even if small) shot at $20k and $250k, and she gave up her chance because she knew someone had to challenge David’s domination or the finale would be a total shutout. She knew nobody had a chance. Whoever bit the European Geography bullet was going to be the "sacrifice". Now the floor will actually challenge David. It was about doing something for the game, for everyone else, even though it probably doomed her own chances. That’s rare. By the way, she was equally screwed in The Crown and Bodies of Water as those still had their expert people defending them. A rare sight this late in the game. You don’t have to agree with it. But that kind of selflessness in a game where everyone is supposed to be “me first” is pretty damn admirable. David can still win. But before the sacrifice, he was steamrolling without pressure. Now he’s vulnerable. She didn’t guarantee his loss — she's going to make him earn it instead of handing it to him.
  13. Lisa made a sacrifice. She knew she would lose. She was an emotional wreck. There was no way that David wasn't going to win. I don't care. She opened the game up for everyone. She didn't give them the win. She gave them a chance at hope(I.E winning). You should be respecting her since the peanut gallery will actually bother to challenge him in weddings. If Lisa doesn't do that the finale is for sure a snoozefest Eras was complete nonsense. There wasn't any specificity in the duel about what the heck the category was referring to.
  14. If David goes on a tear I may hate this show. I want someone to be there for lots of weeks not just get randomized late in the game. You want a story on a game show like this, and I want a normie to take it.
