I really wonder how the participants of the past seasons are going to be viewing the women of the season?  Will they accept them into the group or distance themselves from them?

I get the feeling that the people now only stay in contact with people from their own seasons. Probably just the divorced brides.

There have been so many seasons now that there isn't much of a bond with other seasons.

Two hours for Part TWO of the reunion?  Wow, they're sucking the last drop of juice out of this disaster movie.  Wait, say what now?  There's still "Denver:  A Look Back" coming up and a "Where Are They Now?" episode next week??

This has been the most "filler episode" season ever!

Still don't know we needed 99 episodes!

About the two-part shows. . .  I think they were all filmed at the same time and then the show cut up the segments to make them fit the 2 hours. I don't think they filmed it twice.

Then why does Austin have a beard in Part 1 and no beard in the previews for Part 2?

It doesn't seem logical not to film it all at the same time.

I’m nostalgic.  I still loved the first few shows that seemed real.  After that, they all came on for different reasons, especially exposure.  For shame.

I agree. I never recorded and fast forwarded through the first seasons.

Now I watch a two hour episode in 20 minutes!

Yes! I follow a FB page about MAFS.  Someone else noticed that and posted screen caps. He's even wearing the same shirt! Weird.

    Thanks!  That is so bizarre.

So what did they do film part 1 and come back later for part 2 and wear the same clothes? That doesn't sound logical.

Cameron seems like a totally unhinged person. Asking Clare if they can get back together after bashing her the whole reunion. As many unlikeable people as there were this season, he takes the cake for biggest nutjob of them all.

I'll bet money, the producers told Cameron to do that! He had zero interest in her.

Doug had lied to her before about credit card debt and caused them to lose out on a house.

I will give them credit for being married for a decade. That is impressive.

Doug didn't lie about credit card debt. He had a student loan that was never repaid that he forgot about. How do you forget about a loan??

I lost any "respect" for them when Jamie got a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan during Covid for about $54,000 that was forgiven. Exactly how was her "business" impacted by Covid?

Oh, at the same time Doug quit his job to be a stay at home dad.

  8. Oh no. I thought it was the "evening gown competition" reunion show.

Ugh, it is more filler with people I could care less to hear talk.

Still, another week of our nation nightmare to come! My DVR is really getting a workout.

  9. Can anyone remember when a season of this show was actually good and didn't need to be fast forwarded through 80% of it? Maybe back to the Dallas or Philly season?

I think the show started going off the rails slowly in Season 9 in Charlotte with Jamie and Beth/Matt and what's her name.

It has gotten worse and worse to this season with that lingerie photo shot and 60% of the couples split well before D-Day?

Denver, Nashville, Houston and San Diego are the seasons I have watched. What city should be the next location for the show? I will cast my vote for Tampa, Florida.

They are going back to Chicago. Won't be happening in Tampa!

"Married At First Sight season 18 will take place in Chicago and feature new pairs from the city. The upcoming season could premiere as early as April 2024 or as late as July 2024. The cast for season 18 has not been confirmed, but previous seasons featuring Chicago couples had low success rates."

  11. So  0 for 5, the Reunion Show/Evening Gown Competition will be two parts and did we get a version of the "swim suit competition" with those so called "lingerie" photos??  There are no words.

Oh don't forget, next week is still more filler!!

Why do we need 99 episodes for this season??

Well, I think the show will never go back to Denver.  All of these participants are wildly disappointing IMO.  I think they all buy-in to the idea of just keep lying-defend your lies to the bitter end.  They also all try to blame the other person.

What is the difference between the Denver cast and another other cast?? Boston (round 2), San Diego and Houston were just as bad.

i am sorry, i dont understand this post. can you explain further?

    I will try to explain.

Post 1: Michael is quirky looking, but he's really gotten a raw deal with his matches.  The first one bounced as soon as she saw him, and the second one is batshit crazy.

My reply post:  I still have suspicions on the "first bride." This show has always been teasing a "runaway" bride. Also we saw NOTHING about the first bride during any of the matchmaking episodes.

I think this could have been a producer set up and Michel went along with it and knew he'd get another wedding.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm saying I think the "first bride" for Michael was a producer stunt for a "runaway bride."  There was no info on this "bride" during the matching match making and no pics of her getting ready or walking down the isle.

I think Michael was told in advance about this, agreed to it, and the producers did it for ratings. He probably agreed knowing there was going to be another match that was already selected for him.  He would get to be somewhat of a "victim."

Just my individual opinion!  And I think this was done with Michael because of his appearance and it would not have been done with a "The Bachelor" ish looking groom.

These girls are awful dressers- they don't wear clothes that are flattering to their body types, they don't wear supportive bras and they don't wear the right colors for their skin tones.

I expect ALL of what you said and more on the "where are they now?" episode ie evening gown competition!
