So how did Klaus know that the name he found was his mother? Did I miss something in that scene (i.e. a note from Reginald that specifically matched her to Klaus)?

The canceled check stub says it's for "(1) Nine pound infant boy hereinafter referred to as NUMBER 4"

Question: at the end, they showed one bunny-suited person still strapped to the file cabinet immediately before they ran out and saw Rosa jump off the roof. So did she talk someone else into posing as her with the file cabinet?

I'll have to rewatch (oh, darn) but I am fairly certain it was Terry.

    Uh-oh, there was a "poopers" callback?  What'd I miss?  What'd I miss?  WHAT'D I MISS?  🙂

Season 5, episode 5. Jake and Terry go undercover as gamblers. Holt has the gambling knowledge, but also a gambling addiction, so he's off to the side. When they meet up for their meetings in bathrooms, they check in the stalls for hidden poopers who might overhear them.

  4. I'm about 5 episodes in, and father and son feel like a less antagonistic Henry and Shawn Spencer from Psych (only with the roles reversed). I'm finding it a decent filler when I'm doing something else and I could use a little something in the background. I just wish Tony Danza didn't look so ... mature. It's just reminding me that I'm no longer a spring chicken, too.

I actually just started a rewatch this past weekend, but....season one is available on Netflix, the first episode of S2 is on demand for free, and only the last four episodes of S2 are available on Hulu. Eps 2-7 of S2 aren't on streaming right now. But all of s2 is coming to Netflix on Aug 28, I think? So you might want to wait till then.

All of S2 (with extended cuts, except for the first two episodes) are available on the NBC website.

  6. I'm not picking on it, because I love this episode, but I'm doing a re-watch of Season 2 (The Pontiac Bandit Returns) and Captain Holt calls a perp a "dirt bag!" I love how Holt is somehow more pedantic now, yet more all-in on the squad shenanigans.

That "Amish/Amish type boy takes time off from the community to learn piano" was such a ripoff from another show, right down to showing the parents the video of him playing the piano on the laptop - including "God won't mind".  Now if I could just remember which of the many detective teams it was...

I had this same thought! I had to google it; it was driving me crazy. It was Bones.

  8. The only thing that bothers me about this episode is that when Lexie examines Nathan's head wound, you'd think he would have been able to feel her touch; the gig should have been up right then. But I agree it's very enjoyable on the second watch.

  9. Did we learn a specific reason why the judge dislikes Bull? Or we were supposed to remember the judge from an earlier episode? I've tried to watch this episode twice, but I keep zoning out.

I wish we could have seen the expressions on Lionel's face as John explained the situation to him - I'm sure we would have seen him mouthing "No Shit!" frequently until finally it would be "Holy Crap!".

I just re-watched "No Good Deed" - the S1 episode where the NSA Analyst figures out the Machine's existence while talking to Fusco about the amount of intelligence data that would have to be sorted through. He finishes, looks warily at the camera in the interrogation room; Fusco looks at the camera also and says, "You want a soda or something?" A few moments later, he tells Carter that her suspect is wearing a tin-foil hat.

I had forgotten that Fusco had received such a good description of the Machine in the first season! I wish there had been a non-cheesy way to refer back to that moment, too, now, when he was read-in for real.

  11. So was I! I don't know if they've ever said on the show before, but closed captioning credited him as "Nathan." I'm not sure if I've missed something.

He introduced himself to Walter as "Nate Elliott, FBI."  It tickled me, as it reminded me of the pilot of Leverage: Nate & Elliott dressed up as fake FBI agents...
