  1. Another enjoyable episode.  Goliath losing two of its strongest players in a row has done a good job blurring tribal lines for the remaining Goliaths at this point. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics play out.

It was very smart of the Davids to go looking for the HII the way they did. If the remaining Goliaths remain ignorant in that regard, the Davids should be able to gain a second HII advantage.

I loved Carl's "Bing" at TC.  Considering the circumstances, I didn't see it as gloating...more like a TD celebration. A well executed play deserves a bit of that.

  2. Oh, Davie, you are the best. Also loved Carl and Nick hugging/falling/laughing after finding the advantage.  Great episode in so many ways.

My hope is Davie, Carl, Nick, Christian and Gabby stay together as long as possible. Would love to see Dan, Mike, and Angelina be the next three out (in any order).

  3. Random thoughts:

Christian's nervous energy is palpable to me, even through the tv screen.  Natalie is...Natalie. Lyrsa, imho, was targeted (at least in part) because she's aggressively defensive. Gabby has great ears.

So far it looks like the making of a great season. More distinctive personalities than most seasons. Looking forward to the interactions that will occur when the teams are swapped up. I'm ready for a Christian/Natalie conversation.

  4. For anyone going through Brett withdrawal - Netflix has the first/only season of the CBS series Limitless. The show's about an average guy who ends up working as a consultant for the FBI.  He's assigned two FBI agents as handlers.  One of them gives off great Brett vibes. There's also a bromance! So if you're interested:

I truly believe that anything good that happens on BB happens in SPITE of Grodner. She was coming off two terrible seasons to start her tenure on the show (she might have started on All-Stars, I can't recall for sure. I'm pretty sure BB8 was her first year as the head producer) and she had a dumb twist for BB10 that backfired right away and the season worked out beautifully after that.

I'm seriously hoping that Grodner's involvement with the new Million Dollar Mile show means she will have nothing to do with BB21.  Then CBS could switch up Production and return Big Brother back to its roots.  Especially when it comes to food comps. They so need to bring those back.

  6. Very happy with Kaycee's win. She and Tyler both played good games, but she got herself to F3 and to F2.  Tyler had to be taken. Yes, props for being part of a strong, loyal alliance, but bottom line....Kaycee got herself to the end and Tyler didn't.  Tyler placing second and winning AFP felt right too.

Have to give JC props for staying up for almost an hour on the rocket competition. That was rough.

Loved when the subject of engagements was brought up to Fessy and Haleigh, and Fessy's reply was, "Well, Bayleigh and Swaggy have known each other their whole lives, so that wasn't unexpected."  Ross really cracked up.

Definitely feel Tyler/Angela will stay together much longer than Fessy/Haleigh or Swaggy/Bayleigh. But you never know.

Even with the ridiculous proposal, it was a really good finale. Most have left a bad taste in my mouth, but not this one.

All I can think is that maybe Rockstar is some popular burlesque model in Baltimore? Maybe? I really don't get how she would even be in the same realm as John Waters, who is legitimately famous.

Have to believe the voting pool was very small.

  8. Tyler and KC keep putting off telling JC about their final 2.  They may be hedging their bets to keep bringing him to F2 an option. Both KC and Tyler mentioned in recent DRs how they were there for the $$$ above all else.  Still would not surprise me if the winner of Part 3 (either one) takes JC.  The odds of that happening may be extremely low, but hey, expect the unexpected, you know?

Would prefer KC to win as she got herself to F3.  But Tyler is deserving too.  So, either one winning works for me.

  9. Julie's standing by her man. Grodner's got a new show. If BB 20 were to end with a JC/Sam Final 2, it wouldn't surprise me.

Angela would have to backdoor Tyler this week though. I can see it happening because I'm in Camp Stone Cold Bitch.  But since the romance probably is real, ho hum until the Finale.

So once again, let us recap how Production got fucked this season.

Power App #1 - goes to Sam. Production forces its use on what happens to be Kaitlyn's eviction and they try to give Kaitlyn the World's Easiest Puzzle. But Kaitlyn fucks up the World's Easiest Puzzle. Schedule thrown off because they expected Kaitlyn to come back. Fizzle.

Power App #2 - goes to Tyler. He picks The Cloud and gets safety at any one nomination or replacement nomination ceremony. Tyler never has to use it because he's positioned himself so well/the other side was so dumb. It expired. Fizzle.

Power App #3 - goes to Bayleigh. Bayleigh can't keep a secret and word gets out. It leads to her eviction and she never got to use it. Fizzle.

In conclusion: HAHAHAHAHA Production. You tried.

Which is why I can see them trying yet again.  'Cause, you know, it's got to work eventually, right?  LOL.  Still, it would be so funny to see Tyler's nominees be revealed as Angela and Kaycee in such an event. Not looking forward to a boring week with Scottie and Hayleigh as the noms.

Can you imagine Fessy getting evicted, coming back with, like, a week of automatic safety AND Bayleigh's power app? They would get the big Fessy/Haleigh reunion stuff and then him throwing a wrench into L4's plans. It would be "good TV." Of course it would be beyond unfair, but they don't care about that.

Hmm.  Hayleigh has been getting a good edit. That would actually be fun.  Well, now you've got my hopes up.

ETA: I can see the winner of the BB getting the power app. (Poor Lawon, a man ahead of his time.)

If you think Fessy is good at comps, then you want him to have to win the battle back to come back into the house and be back to the same spot he was in before he was evicted. Otherwise, you'd be getting back someone else who was good enough in comps to return to the house to be a partner with Fessy, thus giving that side more chances at winning HoH.

Haleigh and Person X is likely worse overall than Fessy and Person X.

I don't know.  Your logic is sound, but if you take the other three BB competitors (B/RS/S) into consideration, Hayleigh might be a better bet.  YMMV.  :)

  13. Fessy getting evicted and then coming right back via the BB could be entertaining.  L 6/5/4 would be pissed.  But Fessy getting evicted and Scottie coming back in (to rejoin Hayleigh) could be entertaining too.

Tyler and Brett were discussing a possible BB. Why vote out Fessy if they think that's imminent? Save him for afterwards during the DE.  But whatever, get him out while they can I guess.

Hope Brett doesn't go quietly. He needs to start something soon.

  14. Tyler threatening JC for his vote could backfire. Not saying it would, but it could. RS only needs three votes for a tie, which Hayleigh would break. Tread carefully, Tyler.

ETA: This post is in response to an earlier comment Tyler made to another member of L6.
