Coming out of lurking to say that I'm surprised no one identified Meghan's hairstyle. The very first thing that popped into my head was sleestak!

I think you're right, thanks for clearing that up.  It didn't occur to me that she used the wrong word. I just assumed she didn't know what hubris meant.

I looked at the results of the 3 other poll questions. Most of the voters were men over 55.  I'm surprised that demo reads the daily beast. Or watches the view for that matter.

I wasn't trying to compare Cory and Beto.  I guess i was just irritated by Whoopie's arbitrary assessment of Beto, and other topics in general. I'm probably grumpy bcuz I miss Joy as moderator.

I agree with Whoopie that Beto vowing to choose a woman as a running mate is condescending, however I'd like to ask her what she thinks of Corey Booker saying the exact same thing.  I mean it, I would seriously enjoy the word salad!

Oh my freaking God.  I'm a lurker but I feel compelled to share this. Meghan, honest-to-god, freaked out my cats today when she was shrieking about her swimming prowess. Their ears perked up, flattened back, twitched. Their fur stood on end and they tip-toed quickly out of the room. They've heard her a thousand times so today she must have broke some cat sound barrier.  I was annoyed, almost to the point of pissed off, as well.

Van Jones, in his intro to tonight's show, referred to Meghan as "one my favorite guests we've ever had. She has so much heart and so much wisdom". He went on to say several flattering things that made my jaw drop, but my favorite was how she is so non-bipartisan. Oh Van. Please tell me they made you say that.
