  1. I think they got married too quickly after the show ended because they got the glamorous sponsored wedding offer. They didn’t have enough time together in the real world to get to know each other better and how compatible they really were. When it got down to it I don’t think either one wanted to uproot their life and move away from children and grandchildren. And it didn’t seem to bother Theresa but I would have had trouble getting over how Gary seemingly lied or omitted the truth about his job history and dating since his wife died. I liked him so much at the beginning of the show but by the end I didn’t like him at all. I think they’ve made a good decision.

  2. I couldn’t believe he is just now finding out what Theresa’s job is and being so amazed by it that it seemingly changed his thoughts about her. And then patting himself on the back for being so open? I think that’s something you learn fairly early when meeting someone. Then I remembered they’ve had only two or three dates.

  3. I’m guessing Cindy Crawford for Lark’s celebrity based on the jean shorts clue and the previous runway model clue. She had that commercial drinking a Pepsi out of a vending machine wearing them.

  4. Suni is of Hmong descent, the transcription said Samoan, I believe. (My boyfriend likes the subtitles on, so now I’m just used to them) it irritates me that they can’t get a fact like that correct, seems disrespectful.  The cast seems pretty good so far, except the Karate Kid guy. But geez, he’s 74!  Besides being on Broadway, Amanda was also a Rockette, so definitely some background there. I never heard of at least half of the “stars”.  Whoever helps Tyra with dress and hair isn’t doing her any favors.

What a bore. I fast-forwarded a lot. The runway show was too dark and both Andreas' shows were the kind of clothes junior high girls draw in the back of their notebooks when not paying attention in class.

It was hilarious to me that they kept referring to Gary's clothes as historical, as if he was showing us hoop skirts and bustles. I found his collection breathtaking. I mostly wear sweatpants and t-shirts and I will certainly buy something of his if it comes in a 3X.

The ones I clicked through did come in 3x.  Also, thanks to the poster above who provided a link to his page with the affordable T-shirts!

  6. I tuned in late today — why was Jerry sitting sideways in his chair with bare feet on the furniture and then even putting his bare feet on the other host’s chairs?  Seemed really inappropriate and kind of gross! OK in your own home, but not on the show, in my opinion.

  7. I was disappointed. It might have been better as a half hour as I felt like there was a lot of wasted time. All the time showing the celebrity “working” on the renovation seemed so fake and drawn out to me.  Also too long with the teachers in the auditorium. It was nice to recognize them, but enough was enough. I hated the gravel covering almost the entire front yard. I liked the brick. I didn’t feel like the recipient was very enthused with most of it — seemed like she missed some of her personal things. I thought she liked the music equipment the best. Of course it looked a lot better overall, but seemed more like a show home, not personalized for the owner.  I didn’t get why they kept saying the house was for the family, but the new screened in patio was for the owner. Surely any visiting family members would also enjoy the spacious patio?

  8. Why does Ivan keep saying things like “we could do anything together” “we can rule the world“? I know he’s said it more than once tonight because it just sounds odd to me. Have they ever talked about what that future would look like?

  9. Caila's rose ceremony dress was hideous. JoJo's was stunning.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Lauren said 'whiskey liberry.'

Quieter brother freaked me the fuck out. Outspoken brother just seemed like a douchebag.

Yes, I noticed that she didn't pronounce library correctly, one of my pet peeves.

  10. I just realized tonight that I don't know the names of many of the racers They still blend together for me. I miss the different types of pairings such as friends, coworkers, family members. It's also hard for me to get used to Friday night, half the time I forget it is on. I don't really have a favorite nor anyone I'm strongly against. Even though they were in Africa which is on my bucket list and I loved seeing the animals in the wild, it still didn't keep my full attention. Very blah season to me for what is typically one of my favorite shows. Surprising myself, I think I like the couple with the tattoo woman the best. They keep trudging through, seem agreeable to each other and other racers, and seem to appreciate the experience.

  11. The latest promo for the show is odd. He's talking about how much he loves her and how she's the best and she's pretty. She talks about her work, although she says "realitor" (there's no "i" in realtor). It's just a bit too sappy and doesn't speak to his work.

I came here to comment on this exact same thing. It bugs me every time I see the commercial. I know a lot of people pronounce it wrong, but it still bothers me when that is part of their profession.

  12. So can the children be adopted without their father's approval? Do they have that? I don't get why that's not belong mentioned by anyone. Also, Robin looked so fake trying to look surprised and conjure up some tears.
