    This from me, Davey1:

I just saw this episode and cannot understand something. If the elevator was in the building of the symposium, then how was it possible that they woke up in the elevator that was far away from Toronto. Presumably Sally Pendrick's lab was in the basement of the symposium building. Any explanations anyone?

    This is from Trey earlier:

200th episode. What a great episode!

I loved seeing all the geniuses who have been on the show before, plus a few new ones. I had to look up Ernest Rutherford.

Sally Pendrick finally got what was coming to her.  Glad James is still alive.

I really had to laugh at the contempt Edison and Henry Ford were subjected to. They've never been treated with much respect before but this was really over the top. Especially Edison who fully deserves it.

There were so many great scenes I probably can't even remember them all.  One of my favourites was Brackenreid getting them free by bashing the guard over the head after everyone else pooh-poohed his plan as being too simple.

  2. I have grown tired of the sarcastic bantering between Magnum and Higgins. It's gets on my nerves. Especially the way Higgins blames Magnum and criticizes him constantly, resulting in "Come on, Hiiiiigggginnns!" Plus, it's a bit annoying the way Tom Selleck presents as a teenager in a huge body.......and of course the fact that he is a private investigator without an office, without a secretary, who never engages in actual examination of clues and evidence. He never even gets to the level of Barnaby Jones or Frank Cannon even for a minute!

  3. I'll add my own two  cents here. I didn't like most of the Cabot Cove episodes because they remind me too much of Mayberry....I thought Tom Bosley was great in Father Dowling, but couldn't stand him in Cabot Cove. I like Ron Masak much more.  I don't like the substitute episodes in Seasons 6 and 7 with Fletcher's pals such as Harry McGraw or Dennis Stanton. I thought Grady Fletcher could have been developed better as a character. I wish characters who are relatives of Jessica would be identified in her "family tree." So-and-so is a niece, but it's unknown how. Then there is the question of how Jessica Fletcher has the time to write so many books when she is so busy solving crimes....!!

  4. Hi, Sakura 12. It's too bad they are still unclear about what they want the show to actually do. Now that you mention it, I see the ambiguity and confusion the way you describe it! The show may not succeed if it doesn't get the story line straightened around....

  5. The first and third episodes of this 12th season are lousy. If they portend the the future of MM, this should be the last season. The comedy is ridiculous and destroys the feeling of the whole series. Ruth Newsom is a pest and should be written out. Higgins has become a pain in the butt. I used to like him. And Jonny Harris has gained weight, probably 15 kilos..

  6. Presumably there is a story arc whereby some or all of the passengers and crew successfully retrace the flight path back through the wormhole and either get back to the correct time line, or repeatedly pass through alternative time lines (similar to episodes seen on the new Outer Limits, Sliders, etc.). Are these alternatives in the works??
