I graduated high school in 1985.  I lived through the 80s as a teen.  For the life of me, I can't think of one thing that makes me feel nostalgic at all about that era.  So it's really odd to me that Jacob does.  Maybe it was The Wedding Singer that he saw as a kid and thought the 80s were the greatest thing ever.

His reaction to Haley was so over the top for two people that just met that it's red flag material.   I really liked him at first, but that was high drama for just a few days together.

I graduated in 89 and I agree, the whole decade was tacky.  I'm nostalgic for some of the music, that's about it.

Name calling is not okay no longer how long you've been together.  Definitely a red flag with Jake.  I want to like him but I can't.

Shawniece and Jepthe were so easy going with each other tonight - it was so nice to see.  Little Laura was adorable in her Carnivale outfit!

I was a bit surprised to hear Anthony say the word ‘punim” during Ashley’s ultrasound. It’s a Yiddish word meaning “face” and not necessarily used by people who aren’t Jewish. I thought it was pretty cool.

    Laura is SO cute!

    I didn't catch the punim.  I knew I liked Anthony 🙂

I actually enjoyed the cheesesteak competition.  I don't really love the contrived stuff but I guess daily life does get a little dull.

I was thinking that this was the original season Lizzie was on when the groom made the comment about never having dated women her size.  Wasn't that the issue of her first marriage that she described in the last season we saw?  The one with Seb as her husband.  Maybe they are just playing seasons out order after seeing how much we liked the first (their second) season.  My theory.

Yes, I'm almost positive this is her first season.  We know how well that went, yikes!

I really like the redhead and the cricket player (don't know names yet) and the guy who had cancer.  Everyone else seems like a mess so far.

I'm sure there are many more reasons why he is the most hateful, despicable vile human being they've had on this show since S2 Ryan, but that's all I can think of for now.

Let’s not let Luke off the hook 😏

Did anyone notice Chris constantly looking at someone ( I'm assuming Production). When he was having serious talks with Paige?  I thought it was distracting.

Jake is growing on me, I think he’s got a nice dry sense of humor.  Haley seems to be really trying.  I’ll give her that.

I don’t think Ryan is that in to Clara.  Nothing specific, just a feeling.

They are very touchy feely with each other right now. Erik is horny. Her drinking and partying are going to get old with him quickly. Can't wait, either. Erik is still my fave. He's a bit dorky but good looking in a clean cut sexy sort of way. He's all smiley right now because he's taking it all in and wants the family to like him. I think he has a serious side to him that will come out eventually. He's not going to put up with Virginia's childish crap for long. I want to see him in uniform. Swoon!

He reminds me of Kevin Bacon for some reason, might be the voice.

  6. Does anyone think Henry might be autistic?  His lack of eye contact and social graces makes me think so.  I just binged Dating on the spectrum (on Netflix) yesterday and think he might be high functioning.   I expected to dislike Christina far more than I do.  I think she’s been incredibly patient.

Brett is also much more likable than I thought he would be but my guess is that Bachelor party Brett will rear his ugly head soon.

Honestly, the only one I don’t like is Karen.  She should have just refused to get married and saved themselves both a lot of grief.

36?! There is no way. She looks/acts 50. Also, why would she think Tanner (26) was “creepy” for hitting on her if she was only 36?? I don’t think so...

Even if she is indeed 50, she should still go for it, he’s hot! Resembles Bradley Cooper.

Damn, Courtney has one helluva crap personality.

The stew’s long hair flying when they are serving the guests makes my stomach churn. Why don’t they tie it back? Eww.

Kate interrupting the engagement...huge oops. It was a little awkward after that, ha.

I’m 48, no way she looks 50.  She just looks older than the 20 somethings.

Why did Courtney even do the show?  She is miserable.

Sad that in today's society that the younger generations cannot tell time on an actual clock face (all digiital) read or understand cursive, even signatures in printing (looks like a 6th grader wrote/signed something) or read an actual book from the library (paper pages and binding!) SAD!!! Technology is not all it is cracked up to be. I'm only in my 50's but WTH?

My kids learned this in elementary school and they are now 12 and 14, they absolutely know what a quarter past an hour is.  They’ve also read library books.  I am sad about the lack of cursive.  June is not terribly smart, that isn’t a reflection on today’s education.

  9. They definitely seem to have a more competent crew this time and I’m thrilled Colin is back.  The chef though...  I’m a regular home cook and I can do much better.  I had so many WTF moments with her.  I am so glad Hannah refused to serve the “nachos”. I can’t with the microwaved steak.  She’s a mess.  She appears to be a horrible person too.   I hope Adam comes back, I liked him more last season.

I absolutely could not remember Matt 😂, my god that guy was bland.

“I can’t believe she s gone” could refer to Ashley — who may skip town or disappear after disclosures of Jon’s secrets.

I thought it was probably the woman getting chemo with Gary who wanted to stay positive.  Now that he’s back in that room with Maggie, he finds out 🤷‍♀️

  11. We hear a lot about Amber worrying that Dave’s not in to her but is she in to him?  I don’t see it.  All I see is insecurity.  That has to be tiring.  Dave comes across as an ass.

Bobby is my favorite on the show.  I know that she has trouble expressing her feelings but it must be hard for him at this point to pour his heart out and get nothing in return.

I wish Tristan and Mia would just be done already.  They are both awful and have strange names saved for their mothers on their phones ?

Did they really throw some tomatoes all over the table for dinner and pretend they were decor?

Honestly, it seemed more creative than 99% of their tablescapes.  I liked the dried pasta too.

I choked a little on my Rocky Road last night with the upcoming previews of Hannah once again chasing down someone really not into her and telling Conrad to take down my pants...what a whore.

P.S I thought Collin looked hawt when he was dressed to meet his parents.  ( holding my 40yr + head in shame)

    Yes ? and yes ?

Dave is definitely getting a hard time - I've seen the words toxic and jerk, and frankly, I just don't see it. That is what I find so fascinating about this forum - we are all watching the same thing and the way people interpret things differently amazes me. The way I see it, Amber has asked him questions and he has answered honestly. He didn't sugar coat or coddle her (that just doesn't seem to be who he is), but that shouldn't be necessary. She is not a child - she is a grown woman who is almost 40! The Jessica Biel and 7.5 rating questions were such non-issues that she made huge deals out of. He seems more baffled by her reactions ("you're mad at half a point?!?") and inability to let it go despite his and other people's reassurances. I don't think he has some grand scheme to alienate her on purpose; she seems to be doing that all on her own. I don't blame him if he's getting frustrated, I just think they are completely mismatched, and she is too immature for marriage and too selfish for a baby.

I also don't think he was being mean to call her on the laundry when she said ON CAMERA that she would do it. He wasn't angry or rude about it, but her response was very juvenile. Instead of owning it she basically said she didn't want to be married?!? She seems to be all take and no give and I just can't see why that is his fault.

    Yes!  This ?

Part of me also wonders if she is at least mildly depressed.  It would explain the lack of chores and internalizing any criticism.

  14. “Space doors” ? Colin’s parents were the best!!!

I am so done with Hannah, she’s a petty mean girl.

I just want to shake Brooke, he’s overtly flirting with Casey, you’re eyes are not deceiving you.  Walk away.

  15. I think the show has always paid for a new place for the couples and this time they are just offering up cash.  It adds a different dynamic with one of them having to adjust to the other's space and the other having to adjust to having them.  It will be also interesting to see how they choose to spend the money.

The "I Love You" from Mia was completely out of left field.  Poor Tristan, he seems like such a good guy!

I use that tool Bobby used probably monthly (it's like $3 at Home Depot) because my daughter and I have long curly hair.  What I pull out looked a lot like what he did.  There was definitely a woman staying there before Danielle.  She couldn't have caused that in one night.
