The Haunted Star is going to eventually head to the Atlantic Ocean. There is only one direction for that to happen. Victor is not waving a big magic wand and making themselves instantly appear in South America. They should have had an idea where he was last night.
Not to mention that both the US and Canadian coasts are patrolled by law enforcement and there are cargo ships and private boats everywhere. And, of course, there are planes going in and out of airports, flying low enough to see a yacht. Did anyone think to notify other law enforcement agencies and the press about the Haunted Star? Moreover, it the HS is going south in the Atlantic towards Venezuela, it has to pass at least two major naval bases plus all the US Coast Guard stations. Once again, the writers need to look at a map.

Neutral on the addressing the camera thing, but I totally agree about the irrelevant and angsty teenagers all over TV mysteries.

A significant part of my family is from the Florida panhandle, which is very definitely "The South." Jacksonville is in north Florida, but it has a large Navy base and a significant number of people from other parts of the country, so lots of accents. Southern accents vary significantly by location and economic level, too, but actors and actresses usually sound like they've watched "Gone with the Wind" too many times. The staff of GH, which has a very difficult time with any kind of geography, probably doesn't care about this kind of nuance.

Not even really a different region. My husband’s home town is not far from the Quinto family village, and Caserta is an easy drive. We really enjoyed this episode because both the Pittsburgh union story and that part of Italy are so familiar.

Unless this show is considerably modified, I won’t be watching. The challenges weren’t differentiated, and “cooking with love” isn’t a criterion. During the finale it was so obvious who had been chosen as the designated winner, despite the fact that both Foo and Robin had been consistently more creative throughout the series. The judges’s critiques were useless. Not everyone wants salt in their food, and that was always the only critique of Foo. And his final dessert wasn’t sweet enough to please the judges, despite the fact that it went well with his style of cooking. (I always find Tres Leches cake too sweet.) Robin’s food always looked wonderful and was very different from challenge to challenge.

For Europeans (and maybe Australians) the scoring segments are part of the fun. Countries normally have their own commentators, and the voting has often been very political. Basically, you can’t vote for your own country’s song. I remember watching the finals in Italy one year, and it was like watching a soccer match. Peacock did carry it last year and may this year as well. In previous years I’ve watched it on non-blocked feeds from Europe, sometimes Swedish or German but more recently San Marino. Netflix has a Will Ferrell movie that captures a lot of the essence of the competition and features a lot of past performers.

Also, perhaps an Ivy League school might be a bit more broad-minded and understanding in its hiring practices than at PCU.
Alexis should watch more TV. “60 Minutes” did a profile on a convicted bank robber who studied in prison and ended up teaching at Georgetown Law. Of course, Alexis’ background is a bit more checkered.

We had to move our Echo Dot/Alexa far away from the TV months ago because it went nuts every time someone mentioned Alexis. Glad to hear it's not just our device.
