  1. Dean sure has changed his tune about grabbing a normal life if/when you can. Too bad he didn’t feel that way back in S8.  Sam had to learn a “very special lesson” then about not giving up on family.  I guess Dean now has to learn a “very special lesson” now about sometimes shit happens and it’s perfectly normal for people to get overwhelmed now and then.  I hope at the end of the season once they get Mary back, Dean will acknowledge that he finally knows how Sam must have felt back then.  But probably not.

At least Jody thought to call Sam to tell him about Missouri’s death.   She was his friend too.

I'd also put money on Dean witnessing the father of Patience being a real MEENIE! to her also and as part and parcel of Dean's latest lesson with Sam hitting him with the "I WAS Jack, so I know what it feels like" stick, too-either before they separate or soon after. My money is on before, just so we know who's getting the "lesson" in this one.

Ah, poor widdle Dean.  Don't worry, I'm sure he'll get lots of sympathy and ego-bolstering from both Jody and Missouri.

Will the Wayward girls per se even feature in this episode? I got the impression it will be Jody and just focus on Patience. The mid-Season Finale and Opener, those will be the real backdoor Pilot.

Yeah, but since Patience is in the Wayward spinoff, I'm guessing they'll have to establish her 'powers' or whatever.

That`s why I specified "in terms of hunting". IMO she will get the flashy physical moments to introduce her more of the mentor badass for the spin-off. As someone who wants to see Dean kick some ass, that is not good news to me.

Still doubt it.  If flashier moments go to any one other than Dean, it will probably be to one of the Wayward girls.  We already know Jody's a badass, we don't really need to see it again, but they have to establish the other girls.  Which, yeah - that will be annoying too.

The lady doth protest too much.  Come on LEDGEND... Admit it - you're actually madly in love with Dean.  He's ALL you talk about.

HAHAHA!  Thanks for the laugh, I needed that this morning.

Of course by that logic, You and many others are actually madly in love with Sam!*

*Not that I blame you, of course. ;)

Haha... I'll eat my hat if he doesn't.

I'll take that bet.  What timeline are we talking?  A couple weeks?  A couple months?  I don't think it counts if its a few years down the road - since the implication is that Jared either did it at the same time or will do it soon after as a copycat.

    Keep your salt shaker handy.

  7. Sam already got set up for a fall under Dabb (see the BMOL storyline).  Now whiny Princess Dean gets to be rude to everyone and they are all supposed to just roll over and take it - and he gets validated by an f'ing soulless prophet of god.*

*and that story just shat all over Sam's soulless story in S6 and the soulless stories in S11.  If it's nothing worse than having your appendix out and asking yourself WWMRD, which Sam, as smart as he's supposed to be, couldn't manage to do, basically the show is saying Sam really is a monster inside.  Thanks for nothing Buck-Lemming.

These are experienced writers (whether you like them or not).  I can't believe they didn't know how it would sound to others.

I believe it.  Have you ever watched an interview with them?  They have an insufferable (unreasonable, lol) superiority complex.

Plus, he said "want", which, I doubt he ever wants Sam to drive. LOL! Doesn't mean he never lets him or that Sam doesn't/can't insist.

Which is B.S, because there have been plenty of times in the past where Dean "wanted" Sam to drive - for one reason or another.

The most recent one was being done for fun.

Ha!  That's not the impression I got.

You know what twist I'd love? If it turns out that Murderella had sex with some other dude and that's Lucy's real father, not Henry. There's still no proof of Henry being Lucy's father, besides her telling us that's the case and Henry/Murderella flirting up a storm in the flashbacks.

She doesn't act like he's her father in the present day parts either.  Since Henry and the gang look the same age as they did in the flashback to before Lucy was born, I don't see how she could ben be Murderella's daughter.

  11. Really tired of the rude grumpy dick head Dean show.   Maybe Sam will justifiably kick him out of the bunker, but more likely Dean will storm off in a hissy princess huff.  God, I miss the days when Sam stood up to him instead of meekly taking his shit.  And then Dean will get to go spend the remaining 98% of the episode being a 40 year old emo and getting sympathy from Jody and Missouri.   Which, sure -  but it'd be nice to see Sam get some sympathy from his real friends over his loss also.  Except that Sam isn't allowed to have any friends that Dean doesn't commandeer, like Jody who used to be closer to Sam.

  12. Dean: "Do I ever want you to drive?"  That was an annoying, stupid line.  He used to a lot more often.  What's wrong with letting Sam drive now?  Cripes, what is he de-aged back to Season One?
